Absolutely awful. I wad bullied, abused, threatened ion a daily basis. Reporting it often ended up with no action taken. Grindr is allowing not just bad behaviour, but criminal behaviour. I had to rep... See more

Useless customer service
Reported a spam user that sent a website link yet I got banned. This happened to someone else I know. “Customer Service” said we can’t tell you why you banned or which rule was broken and won’t review what’s happened. Grindr is only getting worse lead by copy and paste employees.
Literally useless anymore unless you…
Literally useless anymore unless you pay the absolutely absurd prices for the membership. They've taken everything away for free users. Even the most basic of features.
Money orientated
Zero care about their consumers :(
A huge number of fake profiles
A huge number of girls
Frequent, long & difficult to close ads
More fake profiles behind a paywall
Unfortunately they know there are few alternatives so we all need to stop using them!
It's goes worse as time goes on
It's goes worse as time goes on. The app continually interrupts with ads if your not a paying member (which is expensive). Look, ads are fine, we all expect those for free use on apps... But the problem is theyre not just brief pop-ups, they are so intrusive and an ad can just go on and on and then lead you to the Google play store and then back to the ad or another one. And now even sound tracks from the ads still play continue playing ...even when you put the app into the background. There's no end. The only solution is normally to close the app and reopen it to shortcut the ad. ...and that can happen minutes apart. One time it was a great app but nowadays I don't even know how it's survives.
I'd give zero stars if possible
I'd give zero stars if possible. 90% spam, bots, fake profiles, countless ads. Tons of fake women are contacting me; it's outrageous. Charging for boosts, to roam, just to try to rise above the spam. I had multiple fake spam messages from the same fake profile several separate with separate profiles, same pics, same profile same fake messages. Do not sign up.
Annoying, intrusive, cannot even write a message without being disruptive, location not even there displaying profiles randomly quite far instead of the closest ones, online tab isn't working
Disruptive, cannot even write a message without being disruptive, location not working displaying profiles randomly instead of the closest by distance, online tab isn't working either, they try to make people to buy, and working like crap
Terrible support
I have had a few meets from this site, but over all it's very glitchy and disappointing. I would never pay for access unless they really upped their game.
Like many Brits, I'm currently locked out of my account because their age verification AI & policy is useless and their 'customer services' is even more useless. GEORGE ARISON - YOU need to do better, MUCH better!!!
Worst App out there
Worst App out there. Nobody in their right mind should pay for this. But the free version? Mediocre at best, substandard mostly. The constant stream of inappropriate ads that stop tasks as basic as replies to a message for minutes at a time does nothing to persuade me to stay. Then we get to the scam messages they allow through to promote so-called other sites. I could go on but I need to sleep
The worst EVER
The worst EVER. Now I'm on TheBlowers... And it feels much better!
So commercial and too eager for money
From a gay social to an atm for the owner
Silently downgrading paid features
I have been an Xtra subscriber for a while now. I notice they continiously remove or limit paid features and move it to the Unlimited subscription while the prices only increase. Even during a certain subscription, so you're basically paying for something, only for certain features to be removed during your subscription. It's a scam and they only want people to pay for their most expensive plan. Why even bother paying for this app if they just like stealing your money?
“OF” scams
In recent months 9 out of ten “taps” I have received are from Only Fans scammers and obvious bots. “Take my —— if you subscribe!” Reporting is a joke. Nothing happens. I think it’s time to scrap this app. SCRUFF is much better and does a much better job of screening out the scammers.
Due to my experience with grindr my…
Due to my experience with grindr my intention is to destroy the company and make it go into administration. Any grindr user can make a claim and sue for compensation - visit ‘Austen Hays’ to submit.
An Other disappointing experience…
I've had a disappointing experience with Grindr. It seems like a lot of men are just here to sell OnlyFans subscriptions, show off their bodies, or offer massages with happy endings. The platform feels more like a marketplace for these purposes rather than a genuine dating app. It's frustrating and not what I expected. Would not recommend if you're looking for meaningful connections.
Horrible horrible app
Horrible horrible app, nothing but commercials and interruptions, a royal pain in the ass to use.
Actually -10 it’s a load of shit
Actually -10 it’s a load of shit!
Do NOT subscribe to this crap app!
I have recurring subscription and people who don’t pay a subscription have access to more men and closer! One guy in London & one in Vancouver in a gay bar opened there Grindr app sitting next to me .. There was many more people on his FREE APP and closer than me who pays a subscription it’s a TOTAL SCAM!
And They totally ignore my E MAILS requesting assistance & a full refund
Banned for no reason whatsoever
Tried to log into Grindr, had a error message saying I'm banned and I have to appeal my ban. No idea why I'm banned, they won't give you a reason. I have done everything they asked on their first message to me and now no one is responding to my emails with all the evidence they asked for. Communication is ridiculously poor, you don't get any response. This has to be the worst App I have ever paid for. I won't be using it again that's for sure. Complete shambles of a Company.
Terrible must pay for everything
Not clear to use and expensive
It is not clear or transparent to use offering confusing add-ons/extras. They do not make these options very clear. No easy place for quick reference about different options you pay for.
I ended up paying £18.99 every week taken from my bank account. That's 75.96 every month. Really that's more I recall than high end dating products like eharmony. If this app was more transparent and cheaper it would be a winner.
And on using the software app issues had to result to Youtube for help
Crazy experience with Grindr
Crazy experience with Grindr: I let a friend use my phone 3 days, my account got permanently banned, then my twin’s — neither of us broke rules. They won’t explain why and apparently keep all your photos, device ID, location & private info even after a ban.
