Alastair has worked on our properties for the last 5 and a half years and has never let us down. On this occasion he has installed a full central heating system and air source heat pump he has done so with punctuality, professionalism and consideration. The work was executed as cleanly and precisely as possible, all rubbish removed and the property was left clean.
As always we will heartily recommend Greengen and Alastair for any servicing, repair and installation works.

Jordan and his colleagues, Dan and Finn, done the second stage of our air source heat pump installation. Back in the summer, Jordan was the lead electrician during the solar panel installation. Same as then, this time again, Jordan and his team's work was exceptional. Their professional knowledge and quality of their work was of the highest quality. Their attention to detail and to ensuring that the system not only works well but the work is also done neatly both in and outside the house exceeded our expectations. They arrived always on time and work tirelessly during the day with the aim to get the system up and running as quickly as possible. This was paired with their kind and polite way of communication. When the system was handed over to us, Jordan gave us a detailed walkthrough of it, explaining all the details, and answering all our questions. He made sure that we understand how the system works and that we are comfortable with operating it. We absolutely recommend them and GreenGenUK overall.

GreenGen installed an air source heat pump, solar panels and battery storage at our house. Throughout the whole process, they were informative helpful and fair. They provided effective protection to our property and cleaned up the floors thoroughly on completion. Their tradespeople were friendly knowledgeable, flexible and hard working. Their pricing was fair and reasonable. Most commendably they do not run away once the job is finished and the bill paid. They have made several return visits, at no extra cost, to tweak the system after completion and ensure that it is running efficiently and effectively.

I’ve had a mixed experience with GreenGen.

I wanted to use a local company and it’s really good they have an office and real people to talk to !
But there were still communication issues and the pre installation work - had to be done twice - the scaffolding blocked the access to the electric meter and there were live wires across my property that needed sheathing. Having said that these issues were dealt with. But I feel they needed better communication as a team to avoid these issues. And waste of time.

Having said that - I’m really pleased with the final installation. The team of Max /Dan / Zak / Treve / Kyron did a great job and the solar panels look great - they’ve been thoughtfully placed and my cottage looks stunning with them on.
Greengen are fast and efficient with invoices but I’ve had to ask them about the app to manage the info - and it had gone into my spam folder. So if I hadn’t been told about it ( I was lucky to catch the boys doing the install ) then I wouldn’t have thought to ask about it or search in my Spam. It would have been good to have a follow up call from Greengen after the install - they could do with better customer care and contact.
The main advantage now is that they are local so if anything goes wrong they should be available ! I hope.

This rating is for Ben E, who came to do remedial work following a service of our ASHP. Ben couldn’t have been better: courteous, communicative, and very efficient at his work. He even gave helpful advice about the right tariff for our ASHP. Thank you Ben!

I used GreenGen after being recommended by a friend who had had a similar installation. From intial contact to the completed installation all deadlines were met as agreed and I had excellent communication from the main office at all times. The roof panel team had some really bad weather to put up with but they got the job when they said they would and left the site clean and tidy.
The house is old and has had numerous dubious alterations over the years which made for a much more awkward inverter and battery installation than anticipated. Some electricians go the extra mile but Cameron ran an extra marathon in trying to unravel the mysteries and decrepit fabric of an old electrical system with the new inverter even to the point of working on his day off to ensure everything was running smoothly, this really is customer care at it's best and Cameron is a credit to the GreenGen team.
When completed every part of the installation was very tidy and the site left spotlessly clean. Not being particularly tech-savvy the system was explained very well to me as was the functions of the app. On the basis of my experience I have no hesitation in recommending GreenGen

Quick and excellent work from Cameron and Treeve to install our car charger. Friendly and professional in equal measure.

This review primarily covers the onsite install of panels and battery, however worth mentioning that from initial contact working with GreenGenUk has been very easy/straight forward and have found the whole team very friendly and helpful (with no "hard sell" at any time):
I spent a LOT of time going back and forth with the sales team (mainly Cameron 👍) who were always happy to answer Q's and refine requirements/produce revised quotes.
Having given the go ahead for the install work, the whole process went really smoothly.
Liam arrived first week to fit the brackets and panels. Raised an issue with the original number of panels specc'd, and once new plan was agreed carried the work out with minimal fuss/disruption.
Week 2 (slight pause in the work due to new battery availability) Max E, Treeve and Ben B were onsite to install battery, connect panels and initiate the system. All 3 were really approachable and happy to answer Q's, explain what they were doing and seek clarification when something wasn't 100% clear in the original plan.
On system startup, helped configure accounts/apps used to monitor solar production/storage.
Overall, really pleased with the install operation and recommend approaching GreenGenUk if considering any renewables for your home.

Have had solar panels and more recently an air source heat pump installed by Greengen. Very pleased with the outcome; Ben, Bailey, Cameron, Lee and Dale did a splendid job. Much appreciated.

We have had our roof solar panels installed today - in 2 days, by Jake E, Ian and Orley, the team were so helpful and really polite the whole time they were here. They went above and beyond to help us and make sure the panels were installed quickly with minimal disruption.

We can't think how the installation of our air-source heatpump could have gone better! Jack and (apprentice) Ashley made a very neat job of the plumbing. And Jordan with Fionn likewise with the electrics. And they were all nice to have around.
Based on our experience, we do highly recommend GreenGen.

Communication throughout very good, the engineers involved MORGAN and later BAILEY, were excellent workers a credit to their company, explaining the installation process throughout.

Jake and Dan are both great electricians. Any difficulties and complications were dealt with swiftly.
