Very very poor customer service

Customer service is terrible - it drives you to a chat bot, initially the responses are so frustrating not addressing any of your points, when you finally do speak with an agent, you can only do so via a chat screen - they ignored my question asking for the complaints procedure, I asked 4 times. My complaint was about my delivery being two days late. They cancelled my subscription when I said I really don’t want to cancel but I feel let down by your service……they then cancelled it - I screen captured the conversation as I couldn’t believe how they where responding! Shame I can’t attach screen shots to this review of the the “chat”

Excellent recipes only thing that is a…

Excellent recipes only thing that is a let down is missing items twice now in 3 boxes 1st week seasoning missing. Week 2 lemon missing no big deal but if you dont have any at home bit annoying. Excellent meals though. So far this time all good.

I have just started Green Chef

I have just started Green Chef. I have been very pleased so far with the ingredients supplied and the recipes I chose. The quality of the food has been really good and we are looking forward to our next box. It also takes the hassle out of deciding what to have for dinner for few nights. Would recommend giving Green Chef a try.

The order was one day late and ended up going to the shop to buy a meal. Wasnt to impressed.

Menu planning, no waste, no UPF

Good choice of recipes , good quality ingredients, huge prawns and plenty of them. Veg can sometimes be a bit brown. No waste, and good portion size once you get use to eating proper portions. We have 4 recipes a week, takes a way hassle of menu planning daily and shopping. Nice fresh, unprocessed foods. Would highly recommend.

Refund refused even though cancelled subscription 15 mins after starting it

I opened and closed an account within 15 minutes (after I realised this company is the same as hello fresh and I am fed up with their mouldy produce) however they still took money out of my account days later and refuse to refund and cancel the box although I cancelled the subscription straight away. I believe this is a breach of my statutory rights. How can companies still take money from you after you cancelled - they have refused to refund me and cancel the box but have offered a partial refund which isn’t good enough. I don’t want your mouldy food and I want my money back that you weren’t authorised to take! I have asked for their email address of their complaints department so I can highlight my statutory rights - apparently this company does not use emails!! AVOID this company and Hello Fresh if you want good quality fresh ingredients and not factory farmed meat

Tfied to cancel and they send anyway to charge you

Tfied to cancel and was told no, as i had forgotten to suspended a box. They then sent it anyway, wont close my account until its paid and just so everyone is aware. its ILLEGAL to send something if ive already said i dont want it..... Scammy as hell STAY AWAY

Really good so far

Really good so far. We are on week 3 and the ingredients delivered are of great quality and taste lovely. The instructions are simple to follow and the finished meal looks exactly like on the picture. We are very happy with what we have tried this far, we will see if we manage to find enough variety for our taste in the long run.

So many recipes to choose from each week, always delivered as expected and well packaged. Every meal I've cooked has been delicious, very tasty with good quality ingredients, including the steaks I've had.

Great company providing great food

My husband has needed to be on a strict keto diet and Green Chef has supplied us with over 40 really delicious keto meals so far, it’s made being on this diet so easy for him. We’re amazed by the variety they offer and they’re so simple to cook. With their app it’s easy to order and you can skip a week easily too if you’re going on holiday. We can’t thank Green Chef enough. Keep on doing what you’re doing.

Poor support

So the recipes have been good for the last couple of weeks, however I have wrong ingredients and the customer services is really poor. The formatting for the app on android means that I can't actually use the chat and theres no other way of contacting.

Check basket before leaving they con you

You have to pay and register before choosing meals, if you click on them to have a look at content it puts in your basket, I cancelled and deactivated my account only to receive an email as to what I had ordered which I didn’t! Website is not clear so be warned, I would never use them again

Boring and unimaginative

Boring and unimaginative. Cheese sauce on fish. Flour missing.
I’ve used Mindful Chef for years who provided creative meals, never with ingredients missing and top quality. I thought I’d try something new - very unwise.

Absolutely amazing

Absolutely amazing, everything came fresh and as ordered, chicken was only up to the 29.04 s,so that's was need to be cooked on Sunday,(which gave me only 1 day to cook ), a bit disappointed, but pork came with a long date, so happy about that. Portioning great and instructions clear .
I like the timer which helps while you cooking, but could of had alarm on the end, as is just stop , while you cooking ,so need to watch the time as you can miss and over cook easy, also unfortunately the speakers 🔊 of reading the cooking part is not working for some reason, but I managed .
Food great ,so far made the chicken pesto pot and is delicious, was suprice of having a French cream thought it will be a bit of yogurt but it work as asked healthy version/keto.
Im looking forward for next meal
