Great website with good offers. For any keen home cook this is an on must go to website for inspiring and delicious recipes that are not complicated.

Customer service very prompt and helpful response. Good way to get new recipes to try - both easy and accessible and more sophisticated.

GBC taught me how to do so much. I have used it for sous vide recipes; for following chefs I like, and to see how high end chefs use ingredients.

But what you would really pay for here is their Signature Series, which has superb videos with a curated list of excellent chefs.

I have never tried to cancel and so haven't had a chance to encounter the negative experiences that others mention.

However it is certainly true that there isn't much new content these days, and in general the in-house 'GBC Kitchen' recipes are not as good (surprise) as the ones from the chefs at Michelin starred (or bib gourmanded) restaurants.

I've signed up today for the 14 day trial but may well cancel it. I have various issues: 1) Most of the recipe content is very old, dating back to 2016 and 2017, so does not fully embrace modern food trends, 2) it is not really suitable for a professional chef for the most part - too basic, 3) it has very little of any value on plating, 4) it covers trivial DIY stuff like Bake Off which is of no interest to me, 5) some of the "how to's" are just nonsense. I think You Tube has probably overtaken this website.

I am an avid cook and signed up for the 14 day free trial to see if I would find the site useful. Did a couple of recipes which ended up being a bit of a disaster. I am no novice so obviously there are issues with some of these recipes. I’m guessing they are not properly tested.
Once I was through the cancelling process, which is purposely convoluted, I am informed the cancellation can take 14 days, then further into the cancellation process I was advised it would be processed in 3-4 business days. When you sign up for a 14 day free trial you do expect the cancellation to be immediate. This is just a scam to take your money anyway. I expect to see $10 go off my credit card (Australia based). How rude is this.

UPDATE I upset people with my review, and received a call followed by a delivery of all the gifts I had not received over the previous couple of years. Calling the business a “scam” really upset people and understandably if my business was called that I would be very, very upset. So maybe it isn’t a scam, but just a very badly managed business with staff that really need to work on their customer service skills and less on their “sales skills” A large amount of people who use this site are probably chefs or talented cooks looking for a challenge and inspiration so bear this in mind when you think of your customers / gifts / service as there are a lot of websites out there. (ORIGINAL REVIEW) This used to be an amazing site, as a chef I found it inspirational especially during COVID but since then it has become a money making scam. The “gifts” are shocking, there are no perks regardless of what level you purchase and the vouchers you get are only relevant if you live in the London area as none deliver outside of the M25. Worst of all, the “help desk” staff are generally arrogant and disinterested. I recently contacted them regarding so called offers for gold members (there have been none since mid 2023) and the response I got was “don’t know what you want”. The recipes are often inaccurate, with unreliable timings. But there are a lot of new and exciting chefs on here that will not get the recognition they deserve because of the association with this website.

Online sales site posing as a recipe site. That´s it really: They try to hook you into joining with a couple of free recipes. If you join you will find the recipe selection actually rather thin and you will be bombarded with “offers” for trendy pointless food products. I´ll be interested in their response – I always feel that how companies respond to criticism on this site is a good way of evaluating them.

I opened a free subscription account to try out the website and see if a paid subscription was worth it. I'd only clicked around a few times only to be told I'd run out of complimentary recipes and features for today's session. This is a shockingly bad way to run a subscription service. I probably would have joined had I been able to check out more areas beforehand.

I have been using this site for many years now and was happy to start paying for the use of it when they began to commercialise.

I have been a Gold member since paid membership was introduced. Sadly, the commercialisation appears to be at the cost of service.

Sending a link for a gift on your birthday is a nice touch; however when the link leads to an "out of stock" message it has the opposite effect to feeling good. To then send 3 emails, including a ticket rasied through their system, and receive no response for over 3 weeks is simply rude.

On this form I will be cancelling soon and I would recommend others not join. When a service nly cares about making money it tends to go downhill fast.

0/5 theyll scam your money. When you try to cancel subscription theyll just cash you out for next month payment and then tell "sorry sorry too bad you already paid" And you cant even stop the payment you have to go through a hell of a email wars to cancel your payment. Best bet is to shut down your credit card because of this scam site.

Unbelievable website, smashing recipes from some genuinely talented chefs! Great for both home meals on the cheap and professional Michelin star dishes highly recommend! Give the Korean fried chicken a go
