Nice product but awful customer service
Placed an order for two items but only one arrived , website confirmed my delivery was complete, no communication from grden at all to inform me of the short shipment.
Contacted grden and received an auto email telling me I had been refunded for the missing item, eventually got an email informing me they had sold out and had made the refund. The item I did receive had no outer packaging so shipping label was stuck on actual item which I was very unhappy about as item was for a gift this I also mentioned in my email to their customer service however they choose not to answer or address this issue. As a small company you would hope customer service would be a high priority but sadly not in grdens case, I shall be purchasing my Kamado accessories elsewhere in future.
Top quality product with great service
I have been debating for a number of months on buying a ceramic BBQ.
After reading the positive reviews and looking at the quality of the product I decided to go with Grden
What an awesome product.
The delivery was slick and smooth.
Unboxing revealed no hidden surprises and all of the parts were where there as they should be.
I followed a YT video on how to assemble -very easy.
Christened the BBQ on Saturday with fantastic results.
If you are looking to buy a ceramic BBQ and don't want to remortgage then get one of these beauties. To me, they are the same quality as the Joe and Geen but without the enormous price tag

Very helpful staff. Very well produced product. Product was delayed by some time for reasons out of Grdens control but they did organise very quick delivery once it had arrived at the warehouse. Overall very pleased.
Best UK Kamado company around!
After researching and finally deciding on a KJ Jr, I was recommended the Explorer by a mate and placed the order for one. A few days later, end of season sale and the v1 was discounted so I opted for that instead! The service was exceptional and responsive and accommodating.
The v1 medium is a thing of beauty, and actually more attractive than a KJ Classic - had all the features that the KJ doesn’t have as standard. I am so glad I went for the v1 medium as the cooking space is perfect for most requirements - can’t imagine wanting more space unless you regularly cook for over 10 people.
I’ve been bbq obsessed since - coming from a gas Weber to this is such a difference, a real passion and hobby that you can’t stop thinking about!
The service from the Grden team has been great! I’ve even opted for most of the accessories including the rotisserie. Prices are very reasonable, esp when first starting out, the outlay is much cheaper than a KJ with equal or better quality! Also, accessories between KJ and GRDEN are interchangeable - the soapstone is a must!
Now the not as good as could be part:
- instructions are abysmal and practically non existent, esp when you compare them to the KJ. The videos are educational though so worth checking out instead.
- deliver was a little slow on most items - seems they are so busy with keeping up with orders, unfortunately updates aren’t that abundant but things to show up and updates are there when you use the chat. Email responses aren’t great, again, must be very busy.
- The English charcoal that is sold on the website isn’t good. Burns very quickly and leaves black soot in the nose, which doesn’t seem to happen with other better charcoal brands.
Overall, probably the best UK Kamado company at the moment, better than the other fledgling brands esp in quality!

At the first opportunity we roasted a chicken and the smokiness of it was amazing! My daughter said it was the best roast chicken she’d ever had and she is quite the connoisseur!

Great service. Ordered a ash collector for my Kamado Joe 3 classic, my parcel was delivered in less than 24 hours. and after giving the KJ a quick clean out the ash collector fits perfectly. Reasonably priced for a good solution.

Trying to return an item that doesnt fit and the customer service doesn’t exist or it completely ignores me. Asked paypal to help me get my money back. Shocking experience.

Even we did have to wait for our delivery due to shipping, Grden were very good at keeping us informed. They were very responsive to all my questions via email and live chat and it was generally very easy to contact someone from the company. The product was very well packaged and care taken to ensure product arrived in good condition.

Well i visited GRDEN at their headquarters in Studham
To collect an expander for my V2.
Was fortunate to see the new cast iron cooking surfaces and was really impressed by the design and functionality. Whilst there i had a nice informative chat with Christain the owner, what a thoroughly nice chap.
He talked me through the setup of my new V2, as i am new to Kamado cooking. I ended up purchasing the new premier Plancha and Searing grate.
For any owner of the GRDEN V2 these two items are a must have item.
As i am only able to give 5 stars, my experience was worth 10*
A very highly recommended company.

V2 kamado - Great piece of kit
The V2 Grill was delivered on a pallet by a truck with tail lift as it is so heavy. All other items ordred delivered by DPD. All had tracking on the deliveries , so new exactly when they would be arriving.
The items were packaged well and the truck driver delivered the grill to the back garden.
The grill is extremely well made and all the accessories are as well. The digital display is a great asset in controlling the temperature of the grill and food inside.
Points to note... you will definitely need 2/3 people to lift the grill onto the stand due to the weight of it.
