App completely broken

Bought the sleep tracker to find out if I have sleep apnea. Tracker works fine, and is comfortable enough, however its clear the app is broken. This means you can start recording data and every night it stops working and loses all data. Makes the whole thing essentially useless. Fundamental issue, returning it because not fit for purpose. Unsure how this is Australia's number one sleep tracker when it is completely broken software wise...

This is with Android v 16 on a Samsung s24+.
