I wouldn’t use this company again. Did a quote for my iPhone 15 pro max it’s in absolutely Mint condition (I have photos and recording of the condition of the phone) always been in bumper case. They asked if phone was in good condition with over 81% battery health, it was better than good condition and battery health was over what they asked. They quoted me £500, I waited a few days and kept getting emails saying they were holding my quote @£500 so I sent the phone in. The day they received it they email me to say they had inspected the phone and the offer now was £290 because the phone had been through a number of phone charges which obviously yes you have to charge the phone daily. So decline the offer, they came back with £300 which I went back with £420 I explained that they would find it hard to find another phone in that condition also with the box. They came back to me to say they had been authorised to use some back office cash set aside for customers like me and situations like this 😡basically they give u a high quote to get u to send the phone in then low ball you when they have it in my opinion.

Next lie is you DONT get paid the same day. They tell you the moneys been sent and can take up to 3 days BUT u then get an email the day it’s due to be cleared to say that an error happened where only a few payments were sent (even tho apparently it had already been done 3 WORKING days ago this started on the Friday) anyway didn’t get the money till after 6pm on the 7th day. Would be interesting to see how many other people have experienced this service

Edit- I finally was paid today, not long after this review was posted. I’ve changed this review from 1 to 3 stars to be fair. But it has taken far too long, and far too much chasing for a higher rating than that, I wouldn’t personally use them again but use your own judgement.

First impressions of this company very good. Good website, very easy to complete the form to sell my phone and post it. The initial communications were also very good with lots of follow up texts promising me that payment was waiting as soon as they received the phone. Unfortunately shortly after sending it I had a look at some of their online reviews out of interest and realised that there was a distinct possibility that I'd made a big mistake. As it turns out, I had.

I posted the phone to them on Friday, 05/06/26 and checked the tracking the following Monday, 08/06/26. This shows they collected the phone at 9.02 am on Monday, 8 June. Very efficient. Unfortunately, this is where the efficiency stopped. I had no more communication from them that week and no 'immediate payment'.

I was very suspicious but decided to be fair and allow 5 working days for the payment to come through. No payment was received in that time so I emailed them to follow this up on 17/06/26. I received no reply to this.

I followed this up with a further email on 24/06/26. I received an almost instantaneous reply this time: "Im not too sure what happened but your device arrived for the full quoted price and £5 bonus! Please send your payment details and we can pay now!" I replied within minutes of this but stating that I expected to be paid within 5 working days or would take this further. I will also note that they had previously been sent my payment details on the form I originally completed for the sale of the phone so am unsure why they asked for them again.

At at around 3.30 pm on 30 June (late in the working day before the 5 working days were up) they emailed me as follows: "Apologies not been on due to illness, back in now, can i pay this today?". I replied about 40 minutes to say yes, but again, no payment was in my account the next day. I emailed again on 1 July asking them to ensure payment was made that day as it was very overdue and I would take things further if this wasn't received. No payment has been made as of now, around 3 pm on 02/07/26. So here is my review of my experiences with this company for Order number 115799, and my advice to others NOT to sell your phone to GoGreenGadgets. I will also be contacting Trading Standards about this in due course.

Really quick and simple process, well explained throughout and felt much better knowing that my device would be reused or recycled rather than sitting in my drawer for years.

Sold my iPhone 11 Pro to this company, no marks on it, was in excellent condition, and was quoted a good price. 3 days after posting, they got back to me saying they had recieved and inspected and say my phone was classed as faulty due to scratches and dents, which there weren’t any due to it being in a phone case for the whole time I owned this phone from new, so the price I was offered was dropped significantly. I accepted the price , but 4 days later still waiting for payment. Next day payment is a lie! And so is their online quote! I won’t deal with this company in the future. Would have got a better offer elsewhere.

They just keep you phone & don’t pay out. Avoid absolute scsmmers
