I am grateful for the service

I am grateful for the service! Pin my location, making it so easy to order rides! I think I need to check that I DID sign up for a plan, as I spent almost $60.00 to my doctor and back. The drivers keep getting on the freeway, going around the city, but I am less than 5 miles from my doctor. I'm impressed by the fact that I AM picked up promptly!

We’ve gone ahead and added a note to your account requesting that drivers avoid the freeway unless you specifically ask, and that they check with you about preferred routes, since you’re happy to share the easiest way when needed.

You can also always let the driver know your preference at pickup — your instructions matter, and drivers are generally happy to follow them when possible.

I call Go Go grandparent last week for…

I call Go Go grandparent last week for the first time they sent out a young man to do the job. I told him what my job consist of which was to clear one side of my driveway and to shovel my porch and make a pathway for me. This young man did an excellent job on doing what I asked him to do. NO NO Grandparents!

We booked a ride, and were billed extra $15 per monthly charge, we did not agree to a monthly charge, this was a one-off ride... Only when we got the bill did the extra charge appear. we cancelled the account and reported the charge to credit card company.

We did try to locate an account based on the information available to us here, but we weren’t able to find a matching record. Without access to the account details, we’re unable to review exactly how the ride was set up or what was agreed to at the time of booking.

GoGoGrandparent works with a membership model, and membership charges are disclosed both online and explained over the phone during registration. That said, we completely understand that misunderstandings can happen, and we want to make sure everything was communicated clearly and handled correctly in your case.

WARNING: Credit Card Scam Operation

WARNING: Go Go Grandparent is operating a debit card scam operation. I was offered a free 7-day trial for $29 which they debited the $29 without my consent and I had to dispute the charge to refund the amount back to my credit card which will take 5-7 days. I was quoted a price of $17 for my ride, but when I checked with my bank, I discovered Go Go had debited my debit card for $51 three times the quote rate. I was informed that after the 7-day free trial Go Go would have debit my debit card for $290. If you don't wish to be scammed, then I am pleading with you do not fool with this company!
This is my reply to GO GO. I am using Lyft everyday since canceling your scam operation. The quote they offer me is the same amount charged to my debit card. Your operator's sale pitch to me is that your company would schedule my ride thru Lyft or Uber to save me using my smart phone. Your company does not hire any drivers. Everything you say is totally untruthful. My next step is to file a complaint with the Better Business Association to expose your corruption. All of you top executives need to go to prison for scamming vulnerable senior citizens!

We’re truly sorry for the confusion and frustration you experienced.

When you registered, a system glitch caused the membership charge to process incorrectly. As soon as we became aware of it, we processed a refund for that charge. You should see it reflected back on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

We also reviewed the call from January 25. During that conversation, the operator discussed the weather conditions at the time, noting that bad weather in your area could make finding a driver difficult and could lead to higher ride pricing (surge) due to demand and limited driver availability. You acknowledged and agreed to proceed with the ride under those conditions. While we’re unable to know the exact final rate at the time of booking, we do make sure to explain that pricing can change based on availability and conditions.

That day in Memphis and the surrounding region was affected by a significant winter storm and hazardous weather, with freezing temperatures, snow, sleet, and icing being reported and weather warnings in effect for the area on January 24–25, which impacted travel and driver availability.

We understand it can be surprising to see a final total that’s higher than an initial estimate, and we appreciate your feedback.

I was quoted a price of $17 to travel…

I was quoted a price of $17 to travel from my home to my jobsite estimated at eight (8) miles. I was shocked when I examined my bank account debit charges and saw that my credit card was debited $51. I filed a dispute with my bank against GoGo Grandparent. My main gripe is I felt offended that the company mislead to believe my quote which was grossly inaccurate.

In this case, our records show there was unusually high demand and limited driver availability in the area at the time of pickup, which resulted in higher third-party pricing than expected. While we work hard to provide accurate estimates upfront, those rates can change quickly and are outside of our direct control.

As a gesture of goodwill, we’ve also processed a refund for the membership to help address the inconvenience.

DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS!!! They tagged my CC causing it to go over limit. I NEVER agreed to this. They were very scammy and this is a bait and switch attacking older folks. Turn and run!

I was in need of transportation to a…dr. appointment as I did not feel safe to drive after a bad fall

I was in need of transportation to a few dr.'s appointments because I fell and have concussion. I looked into gogo- Seemed like good thing. As soon as I signed up I put in for a ride to my first appointment only to find it was through UBER and was $18 each way for a trip that was less thna 5 miles away. I then checked uber itself and they were charging $16. I contacted GO GO and asked them to cancel the membership as I did not realize they are nothing more than a go between- scraping money off the top for their business. I cant afford to be scraped! THEY GOT BACK TO ME EVENTUALLY TELLING ME THE 29.99 WAS non- refundable. I explained the situation that I would not be using their services and NOPE I had been captured. This is NOT a place I would recommend to anyone. I have a concussion and never saw it was non-refundable (probably in some fine print on another page). Not nice!

Overall Satisfaction

Overall, I had a positive experience with your service, compared to the local taxi service. Go Go drivers came on time, within 20 minutes. My last experience was concerning, my driver cancelled my trip and I had to be assigned a new driver. I didn't realize a driver was able to do that. As a result, I was late for my appointment. Iam anticipating that was an anomaly.
