Excellent service fpr new member

Excellent service. Agent (Charlotte) with whom I first spoke, was helpful and clearly explained all aspects of the service. She made my reservations correctly and told me exactly what would happen. Ride pick-up drivers (both from Uber) were prompt, polite and drove clean, comfortable cars.

Was given an estimate and charged ~40% more than estimate. Got two different stories from poor people that answer the line. Won’t give up and will continue to fight for full credit of overcharge

After reviewing your account, we do see that a partial refund has already been processed in relation to the fare difference you mentioned. If you have not yet seen that adjustment, please allow 5–10 business days for it to reflect, depending on your bank’s processing times.

We also want to gently clarify something important regarding billing. Our records indicate that you are enrolled in a subsidy program through the Needham Council on Aging, which provides 100% coverage for two one-way rides per week. For those rides to be fully subsidized, they must be scheduled directly through the Council on Aging. When rides are booked directly through us instead, the standard fare structure applies and charges are processed accordingly.

We understand how confusing this can feel, especially when estimates and final totals differ due to real-time pricing factors. If you would like us to walk through the specific trip charges with you step-by-step, we’re more than happy to do so.

We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify.

Absolutely horrible company

Absolutely horrible company. Driver dropped an elderly woman outside our business today and told her he had to pick someone else up. She had several errands she had told him she needed to run, he dropped her outside the DMV and LEFT HER THERE AND NEVER RETURNED. It was a very cold day, she was from a neighboring town and was basically abandoned. AND SHE WAS CHARGED! When she called them, after waiting nearly an hour, she was told they had no drivers available. Disgusting way to treat seniors.

Thieves!!!

This scam company charged an unauthorized amount of $245.88 to my bank account in addition to the fare and cancellation fee! These thieves are unscrupulous and if you are crazy enough to use them, you deserve what you get!

“Free trial” rip off.

Gogograndpa offered a “free trial” for seven days.i provided my information, then cancelled on the seventh day. They did not honor the offer. They charged the full fee, did not refund it as promised, and kept the money. I am considering legal recourse. If I do proceed, it will be for significant damages. Far more than the initial deposit.

The ride and driver was very good

The ride and driver was very good. The problem is the continued monthly membership fee without any previous transparency or approval by the client is down right fraud. The BBB needs to investigate their policies and how they let the client know and get approval to continue the charge.

During the call, the ride estimate of $34–$36 was provided first. Before the ride could be ordered, our representative explained that GoGoGrandparent is a membership-based service and introduced the $29.99 monthly plan, noting that it was flexible and could be discontinued. You initially stated that you did not need a plan, and the representative clarified that a plan was required in order to proceed with booking. After that explanation, you responded, “Okay. Let’s get the plan done,” and the membership was added before the ride was dispatched.

We understand that the ongoing monthly charge was frustrating and may not have been what you expected afterward. While our memberships are typically non-refundable, we’ve gone ahead and processed a refund as a courtesy. Please allow 5–10 business days for it to appear back on your original payment method, depending on your bank.

We appreciate you bringing your concerns forward.

Disappointed with go go

I called in to report a trip was not mine on the 4th as soon as I was aware of the mistake. I was still at the location 😩 waiting for a ride. The go go representative told me that they would put in for a refund at that time. Now you notify me on the 9th that it will take 5 to 10 business days for the refund to be processed. This is not only inconvenient but unfair. The representative, who was rude and impatient with me, also told me this could happen again. Over the years I have been with gogo I have experienced, on occasion, ride cancelation,
delays in finding a driver, and times when a driver was not found and I tolerated this with patience and understanding. But for you to tell me I may have to wait for a refund up to 14 days after some one fraudently took advantage and charged my card is totally unacceptable. It is sad you would treat anyone this way even a senior citizen that you represent to be servicing for a monthly fee. We all deserve better.

The representative I talked to on the 4th told me he would process the refund that same day. Now you say its was processed on the 9th. Why the delay? Also, I am pleased with the bank and how helpful they have been throughout the years I understand their posting. Thanks for your response and past positive services that occurred on occasion.

When a trip is reported as incorrect or unauthorized, we are required to file a formal review with the third-party rideshare provider. We do not control their system directly, so we must wait for their confirmation before a refund can be finalized. In this case, once we received confirmation, the refund was processed on February 9th.

When we say 5–10 business days, that timeframe refers to how long it can take your bank to post the refund after it has already been issued — not how long we wait to submit it. Since it was processed on February 9th, the next step is for your bank to complete their posting process. You are welcome to contact them directly to trace the incoming refund.

We also took time to review your saved locations to help prevent future issues. We updated and labeled your preferred addresses, including the YMCA, and confirmed that the pickup pin is set to the parking lot entrance. If you ever need the pickup spot adjusted for any saved location, please give us a call and we’ll update it right away.

We truly appreciate the patience you’ve shown over the years, and we’re sorry this experience added unnecessary stress. We will notify you if there are any further updates regarding this review.

This is a lifesaver service for me. The people both online and drivers are nice- polite, courteous, helpful efficient. The expense is reasonable. I Am 73 and don't drive and I can rely on gogo. Excellent!

This service is a lifesaver.

This service is a lifesaver. I have an 85 year-old mom that didn’t get benefits to get the transportation through the government. And she’s in Miami. I’m in Orlando so I wasn’t able to help her get around. And then came go go grandparent, and I am forever grateful to them, especially Polo who helped me resolve refund issue. I knew where my mother was and where she was going and who was taking her. Being so many miles away, that was so important to me and go go delivered.
