I was a donor to support an Eagle Scout project of great and noble merit. I made a number of donations, then found them suspiciously refunded. Contact with the organizer confirmed that Go Fund Me trashed the account due to their own terrible administration, inability to solve and absolute lack of ability to contact them. I would highly advise anyone to stay well clear of this sham operation. It is purely a money maker for their Go Fund Me operation

Set up a charity fund in June. Go fund me informed me that the money was set for bank release on the 21st of July. Now the release date states 2 August. Meanwhile, they have already deducted £12 off the donated monies. I am now left wondering if go fund me was set up to do the total opposite of what it states it represents.

Still waiting on a refund despite it being almost a month!

I have donated through gofundme, usually a tenner here and a tenner there. Yesterday I donated £40 to the Ukraibe appeal and was charged £46. That's a 15% charge. What a disgrace. I will never use gofundme again which is a huge shame. The only other donations with gofundme have for individuals who have had bad and sad experiences. That can't happen anymore. I've never come across another charity that rips you off like this. This isn't a charity, it's a money hungry business. I will never use this mob againn
