Terrible customer service

been waiting for a few weeks for them to finalise my transfers which are currently paused. They stopped responding to emails. They have no phoneline where you can call them. So they just disappear and you are left on your own.

Very nice and quick service when i needed help. Easy instructions and kind treatment towards me.

Horrible horrible horrible horrible company. Can't say enough bad things about this "company". Absolutely the worst "company" I've ever deal with. Zero phone service not but worthless chat, and email that takes days for a response if any, and the phone verification absolutely doesn't work. This after weeks of trying every troubleshooting method they proposed, and nothing works. Three weeks now have no idea how to get my funds out, and zero help from this criminal organization. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had in my life. Can't verify the phone number I used to sign up that was there from the beginning and now im.supposed to get another phone number to use for verification?!? What is the problem here? Absolutely disgusting company

Terrible customer service do not use this platform if you are setting up for someone else to have the funds deposited into their personal account.

GoFundMwe has no live operators so all in text or email making the communcation about 30% effective. Throw in a 2nd language on a call center and your about 5% understanding. Add terrible training relaying on code messages....unbelievalbe frustrating gone 2 weeks can't deposit $3k in funds to a man loosing his wife needed for health care bills. Leadertship should be ashamed. Switch and bait model.

I have had a very secure experience with GoFundMe. I was contributing for the first time and did not note that they "tip themselves" and when I say the tip amount I was quite frankly aghast. It was upsetting in the beginning as I wanted to do something for a family in need and hurting and then to be forced to tip was unconscionable in my eyes. I reached out and they immediately refunded the money. I would have tipped from the start but missed the bar (apparently it moves so you can tip nothing up to whatever amount one would like) as I am not always tech savvy (yes a bit scary!). Anyway, now knowing this just be watchful as you move through the steps. In the future I will tip as this has helped raise a very helpful amount for a family who struggles. It is marvelous to have an entity that will be this forthcoming and assistive for those in need.

It was my first time to use GoFundMe and I was on my Iphone (versus my Mac). I, like probably others, was still in shock given the reason I was donating. As a result I just put in the amount and let Apple pay. I'm a senior but still pretty tech savvy. I didn't see anything about the tip and your chat agent was quite prompt and is helping with the return credit. I understand a small service charge but a tip was a surprise when I saw my receipt. Maybe make it more obvious or do it later -- not in partnership with the donation/service fee. Or eliminate the tip and increase the service fee.

Please be aware that now GoFundMe forces a 16.5% tip and it does not let you adjust it, so you're forced to give GoFundMe money as well. Sadly, I don't remember them doing this in the past. How disgusting that everything's about money 🤢🤮

It truly amazed me the AI n my first time being assisted by a machine n machines mean the world to me as being a baby n needing respiratory support n MRI n CT scans n ultra scan etc etc surviving disease in my lungs n organs someone like me salutes machine n my experience here with GOfundME was so touching n my story I am revealing to all with GOfundME is deeply true n personal n when working with your AI I started to cry n I was out of control crying dearly while AI was helping me with my site n AI was gathering my info n what I needed to do n wow AI had a heart u know like wizard of Oz needed a heart well with me AI had a heart because as I was crying so much n trying to respond to AI about my need n what I needed for my site I told u I told AI I needed a moment cause I was crying so much n AI reaction was cool because AI became human that moment n replied to me please hold on juliet I will get my team my human team to email u n help u with comfort n direction n yup wow so precious to have my friendly GOfundME AI n machines still to this day help me been a baby in health care in CANada n I don’t need any machines to live though but any internal troubles machines n AI r a new world but truth is machines help us n we help machines have a place n in our world thank u GOfundME for helping me with my site n I do hope to gain as I am public n now about all abuse to any health care as abuse kills n love n truth heals amen

In fact, the technical support works excellently, but they do not have the powers to solve the problems we face, and this is a problem, so I will not be able to give you 5 stars

GoFundMe asks for a tip when donating. This money is for them, to "cover their costs". But the default setting is a 16,5% tip, which frankly is ridiculous (yes I missed that I was even tipping at all during checkout).

Tipping culture itself is already ridiculous, but 16,5%...

Just ask for a flat fee for the service. Stop this nonsense.

Stay away this company doesn't give the fundraiser the money in my first and last experience through this scamming platform nor do they reply to any emails of complaints.
