As part of my sign on CONTRACT with Godish, I was SUPPOSED to get a $100 prepaid Visa gift card. I had PLANNED to use this to pay off my existing contract with Directv. I followed EVERY CONCEIVABLE instruction and filled out all the forms 30 DAYS BEFORE the deadline. I have YET TO RECEIVE my $100 prepaid Visa gift card! I contacted Godish.com and was told to go to Satellitetvrebates.com. THAT site is completely unresponsive if one needs to reset their password! There is NO F'ING WAY to contact anyone there without a password and you CANNOT reset your password!!! I called Godish AGAIN, and was told I was going to be transferred to a helpful party... I was sent to Dish.com who was NOT a "helpful party"! I told them that if they didn't make it right, I was going to IMMEDIATELY cancel my contract. THEY were able to resolve the issue by providing a one-time credit to my account for $100. YOU on the other hand, ARE TOTAL PIECES OF LYING AND DECEITFUL S--T!!! I am a military man and know precisely how to follow instructions... I did so and YOU dropped ball and LIED by not fulfilling YOUR end of the contract! YOU SUCK SWEATY BALLS!!! I've impressed upon Dish to drop your f'ing A-- as a "provider" or "representative" because you are lying pieces of s--t! I told them I didn't want THEIR money... I wanted the $100 prepaid Visa like I was promised BY YOU and was offered as a benefit to signing with Dish. YOU didn't provide it because... YOU ARE LYING F'ING PIECES OF S--T!!! I was disappointed to learn that the 30 free trial of Tech Spt ended and automatically to be charged at $12.95 was charged to my acct. I called 10+ days ago to cancel and the tech said wait till free trial is over. I called Dish.com and chat room..no such charge was listed even tho my cr card company warned me of unusual chaRGE. Tried to cancel again and said I had to go to GoDish.com as my installer..I want to cancel the $12.95 Tech Spt fee and have no charges against me. Incomplet installation
installer was polite and professional but did not finish the job. the dish was properly installed but the cable to the house was left laying on the ground. I have a raised house (5 feet) the cable was left laying on the ground. I asked and was told I could dig a shallow ditch from the dish to the house (@ 30 feet). I think the cable underneath the house should have been stapled to the joists rather than left on the ground. I am 84 and not in good health and unable to do this installation properly. the entire line is exposed and obviously presents a hazard. I made this information known in a previous review a week after the installation but I have had no response. tv works fine installation unfinished and potentially dangerous.
