Absolutely the worst service ever

Absolutely the worst service ever! Don't believe them when they promise a $200 visa gift card, you will never receive it. Dish Network customer service, horrible. Billing department horrible. 3 months in a row had to demand a paper bill, with no response.

They blame Go Dish and Go Dish blames them! I am locked into a 2 year contract that I can't get out of. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES, SCAMMERS!

Dish can't get billing cycle right

I have been in Dish customer for years. My service was off for a few months and my mother paid it on the 26th of May 2020. June 3rd I made a payment hoping my billing cycle would be the 3rd of each month, but each month they turn my service off on the 26th for 7 months straight, I go without cable for 2 weeks until the 3rd I am able to pay again hoping that my service will be on the 3rd. They are asking for $91 to have my service turn back on after I've already paid on the 3rd of this month 👎👎👎👎

IM A NEW CUSTOMER HAD DISH AND INTERNET INSTALLED ON 8/31/20. I WAS SUPPOSED TO RECEIVE A $200 GIFT CARD, I CALLED TO CHECK ON THE STATUS AND WAS GIVEN THE RUN AROUND. ITS A SCAM, I HAD ATT U-VERSE/DIRECT TV FOR YEARS, I ONLY SWITCHED BECAUSE I MOVED AND WANTED TO CHANGE DUE TO ATT PRICES CONSTANTLY INCREASING. THAT WAS A BIG MISTAKE AT LEAST THEY DON'T LIE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. NOW IM STUCK FOR 2 YEARS WITH THIS DISH OR GO DISH I THINK ITS 2 COMPANIES BECAUSE I WAS GIVEN 2 DIFFERENT NUMBERS TO CALL AND STILL NO ONE COULD HELP ME.

Terrible awful bad

Horrible company. There’s no grace period/guarantee if you sign up with this despicable company so you’re stuck with them the same day you sign up; to try to cancel is $480 plus other fees. Tv picture is god awful. You cannot watch sports . It’s blurry! The HD channels are blurry and sd channels looks like scribble scratch. SD channels are not that horrible on cable. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend Dish to anyone. They don’t really have 4 stars. Most of their real reviews (which is millions by the way) is on an account they don’t claim. This “GoDish” is only 9000 reviews.

Worst Service Ever - And not even installed yet.

This company is horrible. I've been waiting for installation for almost a month. They show up without materials to install, then tell me they will be back Wednesday. I call customer service and they tell me that they don't have an installation scheduled. All of this happened, AFTER waiting 3 weeks for them to schedule the install to begin with. Their customer service keeps transferring me around. No one can tell me when they will be out and in the meantime, I still have no TV. Don't waste your time. Call DirectTV.

I switched from DirecTV

I switched from DirecTV. Got Dish because of their Promotions. $100 Gift Card, still waiting. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Left on hold for Long periods of time. Should of stayed with DirecTV. If they don't Honor their Promotion. Terminating Service. And it will be Cold Day In Hell if they ever get a Termination fee from me. WONT HAPPEN!!! I dont know Who rated them Best in Customer Service. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Dish is the only network that is too…

Dish is the only network that is too cheap to provide service for your local sports teams. They try to spin it that they have tried but why are they the only ones to not provide you service but still charge high prices.

Technician experience/Problem with joey

The technician did a great job setting us up. A day after he left, the voice would not come back on the TV in the back room, unless I unplug and re plugged my joey back in. I did everything I could and so did the young lady I talked to. A technician is coming out to see why I have to keep doing this! Don't know if there will be a charge. There shouldn't be.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. Was supposed to received $150 gift card that I still have never received going on four months. I called two weeks ago and they said that they were going to have to listen to the recording between myself and their agent to see if I mentioned a gift card. They then proceeded to tell me to call back in a couple of weeks to see what the outcome of the recording was. So today, I called GoDish and they told me that I didn’t say anything about the gift card on my conversation with the agent I told them that I wanted a copy of the conversation and they said that they can’t provide that. I told the agent when I first talked with him that I was on the fence about getting cable/dish and the gift card was the difference maker. Maybe that part of the conversation isn’t recorded which would be where they get you.

Just switched from direct tv to dish…poor hopper

I just switched from DirectTV to DISH and have found the people at dish very pleasant and helpful to deal with. However, the so called great hopper receiver is not so great. DISH has a serious problem with their pause function, fast forward, and back functions. When one pauses a program and then returns to play, shortly down the road the program skips ahead requiring one to back it up to see what was missed. This happens several times. When brought to the DISH representatives attention, they claimed it wasn’t a big enough problem for them to fix. DirectTV never had that problem and I find it hard to believe other DISH customers haven’t complained, as it is very annoying.

I signed up like three or four yrs ago

I signed up like three or four yrs ago, the minute my year was up the raised my rate, then later I had to open books that came with setup because I had hit a wrong button, anyways, it's then that I see my rate wasn't supposed to raise for another year. I have been doing auto pay this entire time, until vivid happened, now they put messages on TV when I'd turn it on telling me they'd shut me down, since then I get emails or texts or both along with postal mail, so I'm getting very tired of being treated as if I had cheated them, they have been making money from me abundantly, but this is how they have been treating me since April. So on my next day off I'm calling spectrum, I will get better channels, better treatment and lower bill!!!

We have been with dish for 30 years

We have been with dish for 30 years. We’ve only had a couple issues during this time. My friends have some of the other, different companies and dish is better. All of them are way too expensive to begin with , but you get what you pay for. I wish we could pay for only what we wanted. Anyway, we had a problem with one of our boxes and called dish. After a 35 minute wait; Miss Paula Delgado picked you the call and proceeded to help me. She is an awesome lady. She was very nice and professional and resolved my problem to my satisfaction. I don’t normally take time to write anything like this but I wanted dish to know what a great employee they had. I hope they take the time to read this review and take the time to let her know that she is appreciated. I still don’t like the high prices or not being able to purchase what I want but I am staying with dish until something better comes along. Everyone stay safe and when you get to the point that you have absolutely nothing else to do; turn on dish and watch tv. Thanks, James, South Carolina

In this day of computers and satellites…

In this day of computers and satellites it is a real HOOT to have to resort to snail mail to get the rebate offered by this company. First you have to wait until DISH gets you into the system. That takes two weeks at least. Then you have to enter your account number, name and date of installation. And that takes you to another page where you enter the same info again. And that takes you to a form you have to down load, print out, fill out and MAIL into them. And on that form it tells you it will take them SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS to send your money, which comes in the form of a pre-loaded debit card. I bet you will have to go online to activate it. To me this is all a means by GO DISH to slow things down and delay the rebate. This is NOT good customer service, it is keeping their hands on the money for as long as possible. If they really cared about customer service the rebate would be automatic and come off the first bill or two for the DISH TV or it would be in the form of a check that you could stick in the bank and not have to SPEND the money to get the money. My advice, see if you can deal directly with DISH and cut out the GO DISH middle men.
