This company gave me pragmatic advice about my batteries I needed and extra information to enable me to have them delivered at a cheaper price (Thank you Lee!). Above and beyond the normal service. I would recommend using these guys and ignore the negative comments giving a unfair impression of this company which is excellent.
Don’t normally make comments, but this company’s Trustpilot score is not representative of just how good they are. First, they were half the price of what I could find locally. The batteries were dispatched same day by air freight and arrived 2 days later. Engagement with the company to arrange shipping to Guernsey was superb. Everything was brilliantly done and I’d recommend them 100%.
Worse company I ever deal with and O dealing with people every day as I doing a lot of businesses. I ordered new battery from them for around £250 for my van as my one completely packed up. They offered fast delivery and that was the main reason I chose them. Battery arrived completely broken, cracked in few places. I reported that to them straight away, send them an email and pictures. Day after I received phone call from Mark who said to me battery is damaged because I dropped it after I took it of the box. That was just unbelievable. I contacted Citizen advisor who gave me some advices and repotted them to trading standard unfortunately that doesn’t help at all. Finally my friend advised me to repot it to my bank as master card has some protection program for their customer and couple of weeks ago I received my money back.
Keep far from them if you can.

I never normally reply to reviews but on this occasion I feel I have to as this review is not an honest one. We did supply an AGM Varta battery to Mr Cierczek and we duly picked, packed and shipped the order going through our usual quality control prior to Fedex collecting and delivering the order. Once the order had been delivered to Mr Cierczek we received a call from him later that day to state the battery arrived damaged, and how would this be resolved. In a case like this we want to resolve the issue as quickly as possible for the customer as they will, in most cases, be needed to use the battery quickly and ultimately we will claim the damage from Fedex. We asked for pictures to be take of the battery and the packaging as we are required to supply these to Fedex when making the claim and would normally ship another product to the customer. However when we received the pictures we could see that the packaging inside and especially outside had no damage at all, this would not be consistent with the damage sustained to the battery in the packaging, and also the hold downs (clamping area at the base of the battery) where the damaged on the edges again could only have occurred after the battery had been removed from the packaging. We contacted Fedex and sent the pictures to them and they stated this damage was not caused while the product was in transit and instead must have been caused once the product was removed from the packaging. We had this conversation with Mr Cierczek but he wouldn't accept the findings as this would mean he had to purchase another product because he had damaged this item. We understand why he wouldn't accept the facts, but we can not be responsible for damages to products that arise once they are safely in the customer hands and we think this is more than reasonable.
I purchased a NOCO GB20 from this company a few months ago. After speaking with Lee in their sales department I asked if the GB20would be useable with a Lithium battery in my motorcycle. Lee's technical team confirmed that the GB20 was suitable for Lithium batteries. When i tried to boost my flat battery yesterday I found out that it only works with Lead Acid Batteries. I know this is basically on me, but when you call a company when you have conflicting info, you expect to be advised correctly. I can still use this booster for other purposes but I don't think i would recommend GoBatteries to anyone.
Placed an order online & within a couple of hours I got a call from Lee at Gobatteries to find out my preferred delivery date. Superb!
