Great product + amazing customer service
The glasses make me feel so much more awake and the customer service team are amazing, which I really value in a world where I’m constantly let down by customer service.
I bought these as I wanted a SAD lamp but after some research found the AYO glasses as a highly recommended product that doesn’t obstruct your vision and means you can go about your day as opposed to sitting in front of a lamp for ages. The app is really sophisticated too and helps track your circadian rhythm and connects with your Apple watch.

First thing I have to mention is that the customer service is beyond amazing. The employees are all so kind and friendly. The glasses are amazing and serving their purpose. I’ve been waking up earlier, my mood has improved and the glasses are super fun and easy to use. The app that comes along with the AYO+ is amazing and very useful and helpful for planning what to do at which time of the day. It also contains some articles with fun and interesting facts about health and similar.
Overall, I can say I am more than satisfied with this product.

Great product, great customer service
I received AYO glasses as a Christmas gift—after purchasing a pair for myself. Customer service was quick to respond and issue a full refund. The glasses are well made, come in a sturdy and secure case, and, most importantly, have been critical in regulating my circadian rhythm and improving my alertness in the morning. I wear them for about 2h every morning (I’ve adopted a modified version of the VLiDACMel entrainment protocol, the current gold standard for folks with circadian rhythm disorders).

I’ve only been using the device for a week, so it’s still early to assess the full benefits, but the initial results are promising. AYO Glasses Really Work
I bought my AYO glasses 8+ years ago. Using them makes a huge improvement in your mental wellbeing. The rechargeable battery finally gave up this week so I reached out to Customer Service. They responded quickly, resolved my issue, and were very professional and kind. Maybe the best customer service of any company I've dealt with recently! Highly recommend.

This device is LIFE CHANGING
This device is amazing. I now wake up before my alarm or just with one alarm and not 10 like before. Life changing for sure. I am able to study better and work better. My energy level is amazing. The support from customer service is insanely good. I am a fan for life.

Great light for a early morning riser!
I wake up at 3:45 a.m. and want to get the early morning light to set my circadian cycle. The light works great for this.

Improved sleep, but some issues/concerns.
These glasses have vastly improved my sleep and energy. I use them more than the recommended time during the day as I work in a dark room with a computer all day long (usually between 1-3 hours daily). My biggest complaints are 1. The need for an app that is questionable in its privacy policy and 2. A lackluster battery.
The app is nearly useless, and for the developers to have the audacity to charge $100 for a lifetime or $60/mo is absolutely ridiculous. It’s there to steal your data and create a profile by which to make money off of you, obviously.
The battery life is only around 2-3 hours on high usage, which means I have to charge the glasses daily. I was sunder the impression that the case had a wireless charging unit inside - it does not. I have to plug the glasses into the wall daily, and they take about 3 hours to charge.
Overall, I love the glasses and how they have improved my sleep. But, they’re wildly overpriced and there are privacy concerns with the mandatory app.

We’d like to clarify that the AYO app is not mandatory for using the wearable. You can enjoy the benefits of the product without the app by following the included usage guidelines.
If you do choose to use the app, its purpose is to enhance your experience and provide personalized recommendations based on your preferences and sleep patterns. Regarding your privacy concerns, we want to assure you that we handle your data with the utmost care. Per our Privacy Policy (https://goayo.com/ToU/):
"Such information will not be sold, licensed, distributed, or otherwise provided to third parties without your express written consent, except to process payment information."
Your sleep and health data is used solely to improve your experience and provide better recommendations, and we’re always happy to discuss our practices further if you have any concerns.
App Pricing
We’d also like to kindly clarify a misunderstanding about the app’s pricing. The Lifetime membership is currently discounted to $70 (regular price $299) as we continue to build exciting functionalities that will be launched in 2025. The Annual membership is priced at $59 per year, not per month. We hope this clears up any confusion! Lastly, please note that within the 60-day return period, you can request a full refund of your AYO + app or only of the app and keep the wearable if you prefer this way.
Battery and Charging
The AYO wearable is designed for typical use of 20–30 minutes daily, allowing the battery to last up to a week on a single charge. We’re sorry to hear about your charging frustrations. Regarding the wireless charging case, you may have seen information about our original AYO model (2017-2019 edition), which included this feature. However, due to customer feedback about convenience, charging time, etc., we transitioned to direct charging to streamline and improve the process.
If you’re using the device for extended periods beyond the recommended usage (e.g., 1–3 hours daily), the battery life may understandably be impacted. If you have further concerns about this, we’d be happy to explore potential solutions with you.

Device itself is good
Device itself is good. The app has opportunity to grow more - like including current battery life. Glasses do not seem to have as long of a battery (using it 20 mins per day) as noted on the website.
