The glasses I ordered were the Zac Masons advertized as having a 50mm wide by 43mm height lens.After a excessive shipping delay 9 days after the tracking number was posted,I received the pair of glasses the lens size is 50mm Wide by 49mm Height-NOT AS DESCRIBED!!!...I recommend avoiding this slipshod company and buying some place else like Zenni Optical as I have had positive results with them three times in the past.....No Thank You ,Global Optical..Not reccommended.

I am really pleased with my new prescription sunglasses. They fit well and the vision is great. I really like the tint.

Best deals you can find in town to be honest. A wide variety of glasses all you need to really do is just place in your prescription and you are on your way. The CONSTANT deals are always a plus. Its my go to for glasses.

My glasses are fine. Minor quibbles are the slightly loose fit - my responsibility as I'm the one who specified the sizes. Other quibble is the small size of the lens makes the progressive prescription more of an irritation. Again my responsibility as I chose the small lens frames.

If I had used a in-person fitting to make my purchase perhaps both of these quibbles would have been gone, The last time I had an in-person fitting for glasses the glasses cost me $500. These cost $150. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Standard delivery took almost 3 weeks. I'm not used to waiting three weeks for any internet purchase.

I have ordered from Globel eye glasses 3 times the first 2 were great, with none to little issues.
I had sent a pair of glasses back that had a broken frame.
It was sent back with the order that was the wrong glasses, with a note about the glasses. I received a email about the glasses and the issue I had with them, then it took months to get another reply, I called and spoke with a manager (Micheal). He stated the issue was going to be resolved quickly, a few emails later and we start getting toi 1 year. I continued to email with no responce, I called and recieved no contact.
Well over a year later I made contact with someone that fixed the issue and was able to make a deal on the next pair of glasses I ordered.
It was truely dissappointing have to wait and be the person leading the charge.
It felt as those the folks at Globel just wanted the issue to go away by ignoring me.
I have not yet decided if I would purchase another pair from Globel.

I easily found what I was seeking and was happy with the end result. I would reccomend this company to all of my family and friends. It's nice having a pair or three of glasses that only cost $20 instead of paying higher prices with less inventory. Eat your heart out and treat yourself to Global Eyeglasses !

I got the cheapest varieties & no perks. 3 pair for under $40. I can't complain if the metal frames have a bit of rattle. Arrived in good condition & lenses are correct for prescription and well attached to frames. Be prepared to wait for shipping though w/o any tracking. I think they put these together overseas. My wait was approximately 3 weeks. Get an extra pair for back-up in case of emergency, because it is MUCH cheaper to get glasses online! I will order from this company again.

my second time using this company to order my glasses from and website and the service was outstanding from the time my order was placed all the way to deliver to my front door. An order confirmation was given and tracking code as well. Customer service was satisfying and understandable and contacted through email about my order. the wait was not long. I was able to add the extras I wanted: Progressives, Anti-Scratch, Anti-Glare and darking tint for outdoors at 1/3 of what I paid 2 years ago at the optician.
There was a question on a measurement I sent in and they called me to make sure it was right.

Ordered glasses online. When they arrived I realized that the hinges do not flex out, which on another pair of Global Eyeglasses led to their breakage very early on. I thought there should be the standard for hinges on the glasses and was disappointed that this was not the case.

I purchased these sunglasses with the initial suspicion, judging by the price, that they would be poor quality, probably have bent frames upon arrival, not fit my prescription well, look kinda ugly, be uncomfortable, and all around be not worth the trouble. I was, in fact, proved wrong. The glasses are fantastic at blocking the sun, the prescription is great, they look amazing on my face (and all my friends agree), they are very comfortable, and they arrived in perfect condition - not bent at all, not scratched, and the nose pieces didn't even need any adjustment!! I couldn't believe that a pair of PRESCRIPTION glasses that cost $30 (and change) could have anti-glare coating, UV protection coating, and scratch resistant coating and that I would actually LIKE them! I can't even find non-prescription sunglasses at the convenience store that are as good of a deal. I will be recommending this site to every one of my friends and colleagues in the market for prescription sunglasses or even regular glasses.
