I have purchased from GlenCara several times over the years - personally and then I was also gifted an emerald Claddagh ring by my partner. I then wanted a replacement Claddagh ring in the same style so that I could wear the sentimental ring on my other hand. I ordered the same ring but it wasn’t quite the same; however, I reached out to customer services with photos of the two and they arranged for me to return the ring and their jeweller replicated the ring exactly and I am so delighted given its sentimental value. So pleased and I will continue to order from GlenCara

The customer service provided was excellent! I bought a ring last year and it had recently started deteriorating. I asked for a solution and they replaced the ring with no problem at no cost and super fast. The staff is very kind and responsive. Many thanks Glencara team.

Very beautiful jewelry. I recommend shopping at this site. Very reasonable prices. I am in the USA and I received my order in a timely manner. The ring fits fine.

The ring is beautiful and my wife loves it , the only problem was tracking was vey slow but it did arrive on time for our 20 th anniversary.

I had excellent service and prompt delivery. The item was as described on the website. Very satisfied.

Much more active and helpful interactions, so I have improved the rating accordingly.

Product
Ordered a white gold Claddagh ring for an anniversary present. Looked great on the website but the ring received is a good bit thinner and therefore doesn't look expensive or impressive at all. Very misleading. However due to the very late delivery, the company also leave you with no opportunity to solve this before anniversary itself.

Production/Delivery
Delivery was scheduled for 3-4 days after ordering and several days before the anniversary. However the day before the original delivery date, the expected date jumped from the 24th to the 6-10th of the following month. After repeated requests, customer services said they would prioritise it but delivery was actually not until the 13th of the following month, well after the anniversary itself. Through all this, their website still said I could order the ring and have it in 4-5 days. Again very misleading.

Customer Service
Even after all the issues above, customer service was actually the worst aspect of the purchase. Contacted them repeatedly and was fobbed off each time. Agent stated that he had "already forwarded my case" to production even though I had not heard back from them (I never would, the ring was simply delivered at their leisure) and was trying to get someone to do anything to help. Multiple agents wanted me to print out a gift certificate for the anniversary in lieu of the ring itself, which makes me think this is a very common issue they have. Also did not for one second care that a piece of paper is not a gold ring!! Infuriating lack of any urgency, constantly being fobbed off with "messages to production" and absolutely no help whatsoever. Worst part of the whole experience.

Summary
Would really not recommend this store in any way. Extremely poor and I would give zero stars if I could.

The team at glencara are absolutely brilliant had a problem with something no hassle they have sorted it out i recommend them 110 percent.
And ther jewellery is beautiful.

Wrong ring size was sent and then a lot of stuffing around to get it replaced. Ring quality is not great, much smaller than it appears in the picture, parts that are gold in the picture aren't gold on the ring and the engraved pattern is so fine it just gets lost. The personalised engraving is too tiny to even read.

I'm so happy with my order! My fiancé looks amazing wearing his wedding band. He purchased my proposal ring from the store as well. The wedding band set matches beautifully. We were delighted to recieve two bonus necklaces along with our orders. We're proud to represent our Irish heritage and to support this amazing family-run business.

I loved the ring that i got fits perfectly and the design is amazing and also not to mention the necklace i got as a gift loved all of it

UPDATE: The ring arrived and looks beautiful, so I'm changing my rating to four stars. Their customer service stepped up after I reached out a couple of times and ultimately I had a good experience.

I'm still disappointed that the arrival time it gave me for my order was very different than the time it actually arrived, and the email communication I received about it was often confusing.

At one point, they said that my ring was custom made and would take longer; that's fine if that was the case, but I should have been informed about that when I placed the order so I could decide if I wanted to continue.

I felt like every time I reached out to customer service, the replies felt all over the place; one time it said my order was delayed in quality control, one time I was told to ignore that note.

All I waned was a 100% confirmed date that my order would arrive, and it felt difficult to get that information.

It's all now in the past since the ring arrived, but I was disappointed by the delay and confusion over when it would arrive. I'd planned something special to present this ring to someone based on the expected delivery date, so having it arrive much later required changing plans.

It's been more than two weeks since my order and I've gotten wildly different updates about when my order will be shipped. I was initially told the end of March, and it's now April 7. At one point I was told it was in quality control still, then another update said it was shipped April 2 (when I was told it was in quality control). I'm really hoping that I get an update soon and it's shipped ASAP since I'd like to be able to update this with a positive review once I receive the item. Customer service via email doesn't seem to read my messages, but just copies and pastes replies.

If you need a piece by a specific date, I would be careful ordering from them.

I can't say anything about their jewelry since I haven't received it yet.
