Dreadful Customer Service
I placed an order for £45.95 of goods on the 4th of February 2022; order number 23254.
After placing the order I received an email which stated "We will notify you when it has been sent."
Items can only be purchased if "in stock" and cannot be added to the online basket if out of stock.
It states on their own website under Shipping & Policy": "All orders placed by 12pm will be processed and dispatched within 1 business day. UK Shipping: 1-3 business days"
By the 16th of February I had not received any notification of a dispatch and not received the goods. Both cases were contrary to their own T&Cs and statement in their email.
On the 16th of February I telephoned their offices and on describing my issue was told by someone that answered the phone "...I just work in the linen department and will get the manager Clare to call back". Firstly, what is someone who can't help you doing answering the phone? Secondly, I never received a call back from the manager.
Between the 4th and 16th were 11 working/business days. The order was in fact placed at 8:36am and before 12pm and it also states on their website: "All orders placed by 12pm will be processed and dispatched within 1 business day.". Another lie.
I was told when I phoned that they had a delivery issue, etc. But how could I place an order if the items were not in stock?
Why wasn't I phoned back or emailed back within 1-3 business days that there was a problem?
The whole experience was just dreadful and I will make a point of never dealing with this organisation again.
