If it looks too good to be true, it is. SCAM!!! Buyer beware. Stick to Groupon which is actually reliable. I had plans to go to the spa with a friend, and booked Giftory to get a better price. I booked on Tuesday 2/10 wanting to attend on Friday 2/13, that’s 4 business days ahead. They don’t tell you until AFTER you pay that you have to request a date and receive confirmation. I requested the needed date immediately and have yet to receive confirmation, even after emailing multiple times that my appointment had to be on 2/13. It is now 2/14, I have emailed customer service at least 4 times and have received zero response. Absolutely unacceptable customer service (or lack thereof). I have literally never experienced radio silence from a customer service team before this. Now I had to cancel my spa day, and missing over $100 and have to file a dispute on my card. Absolutely terrible.

Hidden terms, shady business tactics. I gifted a voucher it didn't mention any limitations for redemption, support said I could redeem anytime. Yet after purchasing I couldn't redeem and they said I need to book activity weeks in advance which wasn't communicated anywhere and support reps said I could redeem anytime before purchase. The recipient didn't even get the voucher automatically and they don't pick up calls. I asked for refund over email which they take ages to respond and then they say I'm past the refund time they can only offer exchange which seems deliberate scam. It's not my fault you takes weeks to respond email. I want money back in my card don't want to do any business with you.

Purchased two tickets for a pasta making class in Charlotte. The “class” was in a noisy bar and seemed to drown in the background amidst the games and drinkers. We rolled dough and cut the pieces of pasta. We could barely hear the instructor. We ate the tiny amount of pasta cooked by the instructor in paper bowls. I’ve paid the same amount for much better classes/experiences. Disappointing and not worth the money.

I spent $400 on my husband’s giftory only to give him a huge headache on his BD. It says the hotel is booked but the restaurant never confirmed. Then we tried to confirm the hotel and they asked for a confirmation number that giftory never gave us, and guess what? Now can’t check in, we can’t cancel it, and it is not refundable. Now I feel like a Karen on the phone with them because Giftory doesn’t have a phone number for us to contact them and it takes them TWO whole weeks to reply to our emails so next time I’ll get a response from them my husband will be one year older.
We do not deserve it at all when we are gifting a beloved one who only deserves the best. I am very frustrated.

I purchased multiple Giftory certificates for friends and coworkers for the holidays and submitted a booking request on January 22.
On January 28, I received a partial response asking which arrival window we preferred, but it failed to include the meeting location—a critical detail needed for planning.
Since then, multiple follow-up emails have gone unanswered.
As of February 6, I still have no booking confirmation, and there appears to be no way to speak with a customer support representative—only a line for high-volume sales. This has been an incredibly frustrating and, frankly, embarrassing experience for both me and the gift recipients.
I cannot recommend Giftory until they significantly improve their booking communication and provide accessible, reliable customer support.
Update: As of Feb 10th, no additional communication from Giftory. The experience we started booking on Jan 22 is still not confirmed.

Giftory's service is a borderline scam. I purchased 3 AMC movie experiences and had trouble with redeeming all 3. I finally got 2 of them to go but the last one kept giving me an error: This experience needs to be booked through our customer success team. Please visit our contact page at (giftory contact page). The problem with contacting a person is there's no phone number, chat doesn't let you talk to a live human, and the email that they suggest you send doesn't actually get you a response in a timely manner. I bought the tickets to use for Christmas and the automated email back said I would hear from somebody within 5-7 business days. When I did finally hear back from somebody, they closed my ticket and said that my pass was already attached to my email and provided no further insight on how to redeem it. Their company is trash and their support is worse. Avoid them for AMC tickets, or anything else really, unless you want to risk something going wrong and then not getting a resolution to your issue. They'll take your money and run.

We ordered a helicopter tour for nearly $500- We were told the flight is weather dependent. As we neared the tour date- nothing was confirmed- could not get ahold of customer service in regards to this tour. had to cancel our hotel reservations and flights... still have not heard back from Giftory and in fact- the place we purchased the tour from says they never received confirmation from giftory- yet the money was taken from our account.

Response time was very slow. I had to out in a selection of dates and then wait several days before receiving a booking. In this day and age, instant booking is expected.

I received a gift card voucher that's supposed to grant ticket credit to any concert at some specific venue. Their event catalog has zero concerts available at this venue. I reached out to customer support 3 weeks ago and the issue is still unresolved.
EDIT: Giftory resolved the technical issue today, >3wks after I first reached out. They sent me an email offering to compensate me for removing this Trustpilot review:

When I visited Elske, I attempted to use the gift card I had received, only to find out it wasn’t yet active due to a 24-hour activation delay. This delay was not communicated in the email, and had I known, I would have activated the card ahead of time. In most cases, gift cards are available for use immediately, so this delay was unexpected and inconvenient.
