my first ride was good, but very expensive - i drove to the place for £18 with Bolt, and the same journey back, 15 min later, cost me £31 with Gett's black cab.

This app is a lifesaver when I need to be in London. I'm an nervous traveller as I get older and to have such a reliable way to get a Black Cab quickly, efficiently and safely is brilliant! always on time, always reliable and will always stick to the app!! Excellent

The cab arrived on time. The driver said what was necessary and otherwise got on with the driving.

Drivers consistently start their meters before they arrive at the destination. And then get angry when you call them out on it.
I would assume it’s very easy to fix / prevent this in the app.
EDIT: My intention is not to get that individual driver into trouble. I flagged to the driver that he had started the meter before he arrived when I got into the taxi and he reset it. The issue is with the App which allows drivers to do this - in happens in about 1 in 4 drives as drivers are all aware that they can do it - this needs to be fixed as it is an ongoing issue and flaw in the App

In no particular order, the response time, especially at around 0800 hours, although this more the exception rather than the rule. Local drivers not that familiar with the most appropriate routes into town, more noticeable on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Normally, manners and courtesy of the drivers are well appreciated.

I usually just hail cabs but wanted to get to the station from home early one day- app is great, cab arrived very quickly. shall be using regularly.

Used the app for the first time yesterday and a great experience, press send and the full details of the cab registration, drivers name and photo appear. Hey presto 60 seconds later and an extremely courteous and efficient driver appeared.

Good, trustworthy. I like that these are normal black cab drivers that don’t use their phones to navigate. I don’t think drivers should be glancing over at a map - the focus should be on the road! I like that they use electric vehicles!
It’s always been quick for me to get a driver - much more reliable than competitors.

Good app but drivers slow to arrive most of the time. Their cancellations make them frustrating to use but sticking with them for now as the London cabbies know London well and don’t need to use satnav apps.

Hotel booked cab 4.30am arrived few minutes early prompt route to train station paid happy customer got home to Scotland lost bag passport cash personal card etc . Called office told all the information contacted our driver he has the bag everything was present and correct he's posting our belongings back home to us WHO SAYS ALL HEROS WEAR CAPES THANK YOU PETER

Price showed £26; booked taxi; fee came through for £34. Took taxi ride and spoke to driver. Final price on meter £26.03. Invoice arrives with £1.99 admin fee plus outrageously the 5% tip for the driver added to the admin fee. Have been advised to use Jump instead which is great with none of these hidden costs
