I have a very bad impression about a…

I have a very bad impression about a Flywheeltaxi ride today. I got in the taxi with my grandmother who just done surgery at 900 Hyde st Hospital. She was very weak and needed a smooth ride, but the driver is kind of mean. He drove very fast and unevenly, which I can bear. But what irritated me most was that he deliberately pretended not to hear when I repeated a few times of "Please, stop at Ortega 19th".

Before reaching the destination, he suddenly yelled, "Here's Ortega st!" My grandma was terrified by the roar, and I felt very angry.
My grandma is over 90 years old and has just finished treatment, and she is very fragile. How can that driver treat me and my grandma like this?

Great Dashboard, Awful Company and Servers

This hosting company was great to start with and then as we used them as an agency, we quickly found that the servers are not fit for purpose.

The servers don't have enough power to update plugins without crashing the entire website.

The absolute reason for this poor review, however, is that they lock down a lot of the core WP files so when you want to leave, it's incredibly difficult. Our new hosting company tried for a week to get sites away and couldn't without using migration plugins.

This resulted in having to use their services for more time while we got all 50 of our websites off. Their tactic seems to be to make it incredibly hard to leave so you have to pay for more time with them.

This was all relayed to our client handler who didn't seem to care at all.

I would say ok for hosting one small site. Agencies should avoid at all costs.

Cannot recommend enough

I cannot understand how or where these negative reviews have come from. Are we talking about the same company?

Because they opened, responded twice to, and then closed a support ticket in the space of 20 minutes for issues we were having with our site domain. Job done.

Support and sales teams are both quick and efficient and even threw a few perks in there to sweeten the deal. We were with Bluehost before and the speeds are night and day with Flywheel, with our 2nd website averaging a 1 second load time!

Easy to use platform, and looks to be a company that are constantly on the innovation path.

Best decision we ever made was switching to Flywheel.

Hacked multiple times, gave up and switched

I got hacked multiple times which led to terrible SEO implications. Each time, I would update all the plugins and themes, their teams would run an automated and manual scan, and I was assured that my site was "clean." The hack just came back each and every time over the course of 6 months. I've just canceled and have moved over to Webflow.

The customer service agents were kind and helpful, but their malware scan processes are not thorough at all. I was very clear that I needed a deep review and I had to insist on multiple scans when they "missed" many compromised files the first time. After the third hack, I had to go into FTP myself to try to clean up the site since they don't react quickly.

Not recommended at all if you want reliable "managed" hosting. Please save yourselves the trouble and go elsewhere.

Do not use this hositng company

Do not use this hosting company. Its total scam

1- They do not provide you cPanel
2- They will not show you the wp-content folder if you try to access files via the file manager plugin
3- Only way to upload or download files or plugins is FTP
4- ftp is very slow to upload 1 plugin it will take 6 hours.

Pure scam

I have had my company site hosted with these guys for a little while now, they have been prompt with any technical help, server speeds have been good and Win has been exceptionally awesome with advice and help. I would recommend them as a hosting provider.

Don't use

Seriously terrible. They've taken our site down peak time without telling us AGAIN. Steer well clear.

I would also warn you to bear in mind the 5 star reviews look seriously staged by the company themselves.

3 years of service & I would NEVER switch!

I've been using Flywheel for about 3 years now and I would never switch. The support is out of this world and they will go above and beyond for you every single time! If you're using another hosting you are missing out on a much better experience.

We've moved to Flywheel Cloud server a few weeks back and it's been an appalling experience. The site is faster but it has been down a few times. It can't cope with spikes of traffic. Do yourself a favour and avoid.

I love Flywheeel!

I love my hosting provider, Flywheel. They always have fantastic support times, getting me answers in minutes. They help out with technical issues as well as dumb blonde moments with grace. The support staff is fantastic, and the hosting is excellent. I have never experienced downtime outside of those scheduled. Keep up the great work, Flywheel!

The best customer service I think I…

The best customer service I think I have dealt with, they are so quick and knowledgeable. Any issue I have had we have dealt with quickly and efficiently. The dashboard is super user friendly, the features are all great. We have had no problems whatsoever hosting 3 sites with them.

Regular crashes. Almost predictable downtime. 80% uptime AT BEST. Absolutely horrible, detestable enterprise. Hosting companies that charge $5 a month are more reliable than this monstrosity of a company. I cannot stress how terrible of a solution they are. If you care about your website do not host it here.

Best hosting support....ever!

I spent several weeks finding a host for my company's website. Most of the shared hosting companies ran either Plesk or cPanel which put a layer of control over the site I couldn't deal with (I prefer to manage my files myself and both Plesk and cPanel don't allow me to manage at the level I like). I even fired up several stacks (WAMP, XAMP, etc.) and even an AWS instance which worked fine until I needed some support. Then I was referred to the script developers (Bitnami) which went absolutely nowhere quickly.

I eventually found Flywheel and was blown away. Not only did they give me a completely populated local VM stack for development, but publishing the site was a one-click operation.

Now the best part. Their support staff really own whatever problems I may be having (rather than fobbing me off to a script author) but they were right on it and kept on it until problem was resolved.

I have had very few problems but when I have, flywheel was on it immediately and stayed with me until the issue was resolved.

Best hosting in the world!

Flywheel never again and I strongly NOT recommend to host your website with Flywheel.

I've been with Flywheel since Oct 2016 and I joined the partner programme with 72 sites as an agency.

I need to share my disappointment and the poor customer service experience I've been having with Flywheel for the past 2 years.

The number one problem is the server failing to provide its primary function which is hosting my clients' websites. Only 3 days ago, 15 sites were unreachable online. Clients were calling me stressed asking "What's going on? Why my website is offline?"
I had no idea what was happening until I got the call from my clients. So I reached out to Flywheel support, waited 15min and then they said sorry there is nothing we can do you need to contact our emergency team. So I emailed the emergency team to get help, and they replied by "we looked into the server downtime. It looks like there was emergency maintenance with our infrastructure provider. This was the reason for your downtime earlier. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

Bear in mind, the same issue keeps happening all the time and as usual zero communication and no heads-up to inform me there will be a maintenance with the server. If you visit Flywheel website," you can read "Join our Agency Partners program and start growing your revenue today!" Well, my revenue has just dropped as a result of this repeated downtime. 5 of my clients decided to leave and go with another hosting provider.

Bottom line, Flywheel never again and I strongly NOT recommend to host your website with Flywheel.
