Not worth it. No challenging content for kids trying to grow their reading skills. Limited library overall. Save your money, go to your local library and give your kids the life long value of discovering actual books, not just regurgitated branded lowest common denominator content. Also, their customer support turnaround times are terrible and their answers not helpful.

Epic = Scammers
I have used Epic as my children school required it. I noticed months after I had canceled my subscription that I was still being charged. Worse, try to cancel, you get a barrage of pop up windows asking you to subscribe, which essentially do not let you do anything else. Don't believe me? Try it for yourself. I have tried it from my Mac, from my iPhone with the same outcome (on the phone, the X to close the pop-up window would not even close, you have to quit the app).

After one hour of trying, I gave up. Proceed with caution as this company is not set up to make it impossible to leave.

My kid went from hating reading to asking for an Epic membership!

I like the vast array of books offered at Epic. My son can choose tittles that interest him. I think all books should be open not only certain ones that you have to purchase a membership for to unlock. overall, a great way to get your kids' reading and stay interested in reading.

Crooks. I cancelled my monthly subscription last year after I used it only for four months in a college course. This month, I was charged for a monthly subscription. $85 would have been my groceries this week. I've struggled to pick between necessities because I'm a full time student with a very part time job. I've emailed SIX times with no answer. I decided to file a dispute with my bank instead. I hope it's absolute hell for them to resolve since they've caused me so much trouble.

Great app for kids to learn to speak, read, and writes.

It seems to be helping my child except for it continuously asking us to subscribe and having to back out of the Internet site and reload it several different times to get it to work correctly

Limited selection of books recommended by schools.
Not the easiest platform to filter books based on grade level.
But its still better than other platforms out there.

I canceled before my trial was over, still got charged and continue to get charged. Have reached out with no response, so I have told my credit card company about it. You will see charges coming back

You don't respond to emails you have no way of being contacted by phone which is very odd to me if you're such a reputable company. I've been trying to stop a subscription that my grandson thought was free through school and I'm being charged and nobody will respond.

It’s not the money that being charged I wish I would’ve never purchased it

My Grandson is excited to read about subjects that are interesting to him.

My daughter really loves the app. It made a huge difference for us. She enjoys reading so much more now.

Impossible to access in a kids tablet if you have a Google login

The My Buddy really motivated my little guy to read.

WONDERFUL for newcomers! =) It is hard to meet middle school newcomers where they are at...I love using the picture books with deeper meanings! Dreamers and Here I Am were amazing for my students 6-8th grade!
