Impossible to get in touch

Impossible to get a hold of. I am not a customer of this company but I have had a payment taken out of my bank under the name of general accident - perth. Id like to confirm what has happened and how they have my information as I do not have or have had a policy with them. I have tried on multiple occasions to get in touch with this company and it’s impossible. I cannot get past the automated phone bot, I do not have a policy and a substantial amount of money (in the hundreds) has been unlawfully taken out of my bank account. Id like someone to get in touch with me, I am not able to email as again, automated responses block my request because I DO NOT HAVE A POLICY. i explain this multiple times, they have no record of me yet have debited a sum from my bank card. I want to know how and why this company has my information and what this payment is for!!!! Useless.

Even if you’re not a customer, we can raise this with our Policy Investigation Team, who handle cases where a payment has been taken and there’s no matching policy or customer record. They’ll be able to trace the transaction, work out what’s happened, and put things right.

NCD doesn’t count GA

My policy is due for renewal 10 March last year premium £586 this £1704 I had 1 blame claim which states on policy won’t effect NCDGA took out of my bank account £1704 mid February which I didn’t authorise so they refunded same day but GA now have sent me anther £1000 so obviously must have cancelled someone else’s policy I am hoping they will stick to their policy rules and reduce my premium to what it should be with my NCD

Thank you for reaching out. Something doesn't sound right here, and we'd like to investigate. When we work out a price, we look at risk – basically how likely it is that we’ll need to step in and help if something goes wrong. For car insurance, that usually means things like:

your car – how much it costs to fix or replace
your area – some places see more claims than others
how you use the car – mileage, commuting, and your claim history
wider industry costs – repairs, parts and theft trends

All these bits add up to your overall risk level. If the risk goes up, the price can go up too – even with a protected No Claim Discount. We’d really like to look into this properly and make sure your renewal reflects the rules of your policy, including your NCD protection.
