We’re sorry to see this review, particularly as we have already spent considerable time trying to explain and resolve both concerns raised.
The product ordered was our Sleeper Raised Bed Kit. This is supplied as heavy-duty 100mm × 200mm timber sleepers, together with the structural screws required for assembly; it is not supplied as a pre-assembled raised bed. This is clearly explained on the product page, which also includes assembly guidance and a video showing how the finished beds are constructed.
We have reviewed the photographs you supplied of the timber and can see no quality issue with the sleepers delivered. They appear to be good-quality sleepers of the correct dimensions and specification. We also asked you to identify any particular defect or problem with the timber so that we could investigate it, but none was identified.
Regarding the soil, our standard delivery service is kerbside. On this occasion, the driver was asked at the property to move the delivery further onto the gravel driveway. He successfully moved the sleepers further in, but the pallet of topsoil weighs approximately 800kg and the pallet truck became stuck in the gravel. The driver was therefore physically unable to move it any further safely. It was not deliberately placed there to obstruct the driveway.
We have corresponded with you at length regarding the order, explained the above circumstances and confirmed that the goods could be returned for a refund in accordance with our returns policy.

The sleepers are good and sturdy and make substantial raised beds, strong enough to sit and stand on for plant maintenance. They were cut accurately and all the bits and pieces needed were included. Our builder, who put them together for us, says they are better than anything else he has come across. It only took him a few minutes to build each one. Delivery was to a place convenient for us so also good.

Good quality timber, easy to construct. Delivered to the wrong address which meant I had to manually carry the whole lot to my house 1 piece at a time including the pallet it was delivered on. There were no mistakes on the address label to explain the error. Otherwise satisfied.
