Overpriced and poor customer service
Overpriced and poor customer service. Every time I have visited the shop in Bromley my app has not acknowledged my purchase. When I complain, the staff just smile and say contact customer service. When I mentioned to member of staff the bad reviews they get on Trustpilot, he just smiled and said good. Very poor service, smiling at the customer does not equate to good customer service.
Now only one stick of chocolate in pain au chocolate
Somewhat disappointed today. Previous Gails pain au chocolate purchased have always had two sticks of chocolate, ensuring the taste of chocolate and croissant with every bite. Today, one solitary stick of chocolate right on one side. A few tasty mouthfuls and then fairly boring pastry.

Plenty of room for improvement
I was looking forward to seeing Gail’s or similar in Bromley so was really pleased to find out they were finally here! The food offering is fantastic and so is their coffee. To be fair, the first few times we came to Gail’s, everything seemed to be going really well. Unfortunately, the service no longer meets expectations and the place is often dirty - we, the clients, need to ask staff to come and clear/clean the tables, sometimes they don’t have enough plates (?!) and give you the cake inside a bag to eat in. It comes across like staff doesn’t care or they haven’t got a clue what needs to happen which seems to suggest a management issue. When we go to a place like Gail’s, we know we’ll pay above average prices (£12 for 2 lattes and a small pecan cake); but we also expect above average service, care for your surroundings and overall presentation. Your Bromley branch isn’t delivering on that. Please sort it out or you’ll be closing soon and honestly, no one wants that
