Almost 50% of your wage taken.
Top marks for finding the job, but after that minus points awarded. Should you want a company that takes roughly 50% off your wages, then go for it, but if you want a fair deal just say no. The worst run company I have ever come across. Can't explain where the money go's and then point the finger at everyone but themselves. A joke.
Fingers in your wallet all the way but you should be thankfull and never complain as they don't make mistakes, apart from the ones you can highlight to them.
Not a force for good but a parasitic entity that will leave you poor with an unhealthy taste in your mouth if you choose to swallow their crap.
Get it confirmed in writing prior to your start, they will bleed you dry and not explain where your hard earned cash dissappears to.
Don't sign up, a recruitment company that offers nothing but continuous poverty. Contact other agencies that can get you employment without an umbrella company, which hmrc doesn't approve of, these umbrella companies should be illegal. They most certainly aren't there to serve you.
Answer to reply: So you are aware that the company you use for payroll charge exuberant rates, yet still use them? No care for your employee's, as long as g2 gets their share.
I have contacted 3 other agencies that have stated I would be taking home between 120 - 150 pounds more per week than g2 currently pay.
Look elsewhere to find employment g2 is not the answer.

I was dealing with Rachael Atherton and…
I was dealing with Rachael Atherton and found her incredibly rude, unprofessional and intrusive at time. I wasn't responding due to personal circumstances and was chased daily by phone, text and email.
After I had asked to stop contacting me due to this I received no apology for this or confirmation they would stop and remove me from their records.
Out of professional courtesy I could never recommend her.

Data Harvesting...
Data Harvesting...
The company's modus operandi is to advertise fake jobs in order to harvest candidates resumes and broker the candidates data to third parties.
The company operates under the guise of a recruitment agency to infiltrate unsuspecting job site platforms to gather intel, post fake jobs and spam registered job site candidates with fake jobs.
Scam.
Had a call today from Ciaran Wadd at “G2” (as if I was even supposed to know what that meant) knew straight away something wasn’t kosher; he sounded unprofessional and blatantly lied stating he’d read my CV online considering my CV is not available online. I requested an email, without providing my email, so they had that information also. When I queried where they had obtained my data from, Ciaran stated it was from “job boards” (again, as if I was supposed to know what that meant) but wouldn’t provide exactly where or make reference to how they obtained my data which is my right to know so under the DPA. He pushed for another call, even though I had quite clearly rattled their cage. He sounds relentless and the reviews here support my initial call concerns. Sounds like a scam. Block their number. Avoid.
Potentially a scam
This company is very unprofessional. They contact me and then don't reply. I suspect that they only collect and sell data.
Spam
I am not a software developer, and I have zero experience with C++, yet these people have been pestering me with C++ Software Developer jobs for two years.
Very unprofessional.
Top recruitment service
Thanks to Martin and his great service, I was able to find the job I was looking for. The professionalism and dedication of him made it all possible. I highly recommend working with him for your next projects.

Unprofessional and dissapointing
Recently Alexander Player contacted me by email for a position of QC inspector in the offshore sector. I replied I was interested, confirmed I have more than 30 years of relevant experience and requested some additional details.
Alexander Player did not respond to my request so I send him several kind reminders hoping for some sort of feedback but he still gave zero response.
In my opinion, this shows a lack of professionalism from Alexander Player and my advice to any job seekers is not to respond to jobs posted by Alexander Player unless you enjoy disappointments and wasting your time
Amateurs
Amateurs. They have repeatedly sent inappropriate and irrelevant potential opportunities. They don't know the difference between an Engineer and a sales person.
Unlawful Discrimination G2
For anyone seeking employment I would recommend that you seek services of a professional recruitment agency as opposed to using G2 for the following reasons:
1. I have experienced discrimination based on my race, sex and disability;
2. My consultant has breached the Data Protection legislation by making false statements about me to prevent me from securing the job, but is not willing to make reduce those statements in writing
3. I have suffered financial loss
4. My consultant is corrupt, deceptive
5. Withholding payment of wages
6. Breach of contract
The consultant in question is Mr Alexander Hill, Sales Manager in the Nottingham office. He has breached DPA by telephone and he thinks he’s infallible, but I do not require proof in writing to proof that you have made defamatory statements.
G2 work with public authorities, which uphold the very legislation that my consultant seeks to breach.
The consultant in question is Mr Alexander Hill, Sales Manager in the Nottingham office. I will pursue this matter further, which may include initiating legal proceedings directly against Mr Hill.
I have proof that Mr Hill has breached DPA on more than one occasion and he can be personally fined up to £10k for each breach. I hope you can afford to pay the fines and how many clients will you retain when their staff and Council have to pay for breaching DPA.
This is an example of the corrupt world of G2.
Im sick of receiving nonsense roles…
Im sick of receiving nonsense roles from this agency and have twice requested they remove me from their database .
Olliver Paul a great recruiter
I was contacted by Olliver Paul about a job, had a positive interview with the hiring company, and Unfortunatly the vacancy was cancelled. Not expecting to hear from G2 again, as common in this sector, I was suprized to hear from Olly again with another vacancy. I got the Job and still after that Oliver kept in touch.

No feedback from them
No feedback from them, for the honest recruiters it is a must to either reply to emails or to give a feedback after interview with customer. From my point of view, they are subaverage agency. There are many other better agencies out there.
It's a lie, they haven't read your CV at all
Over the last couple of years I have been studying towards a career change, and alongside that I have been keeping my feelers out for any potential suitable entry-level jobs I can apply for to get myself started.
Somewhere along the line, G2 must have noticed my profile (most likely they saw me on LinkedIn), because they started calling and emailing me relentlessly for several months trying to offer me job roles in the same field that I'm in currently. Despite speaking to them politely on several occasions, explaining that I'm looking for work in a completely different field, and asking them to remove me from their contacts lists for this sector, I had to resort to simply ignoring them because they just don't get the message, and they clearly haven't actually read my CV because it clearly states that I'm studying towards a career change. They've obviously just seen my current job title and not bothered to look any further than this.
Even now I still get the odd email from Jay Ryder and Alexander Hill, and it's always about jobs in the field I'm trying to exit. They just go straight into my spam now, as I'm tired of constantly repeating myself.
Still looking for that first job even today, and reading through the reviews of G2 it's left me with a very bleak outlook of recruiters in general.
Unprofessional, false promises and fake jobs
This recuriment agency calls you and say they have 'job for you' and then asks your general questions;'what's your situation right now' , then they ask for your CV. Then their colleague does the same thing and does not have a look at CV, then another colleague asks same question. They are extrmely unprofessional, not responding to calls or emails, when you do finally get them on the phone asking about a job they've advertised, they said 'I call you back' they never do. The most unprofessional recruitment agency I've come across and I have worked with many. They also send me emails by accident when it was meant to be for their colleague with a link to my own linkedin profile, when I challenged them why they've done that, silence again.
Highly Recommended
G2 have been very professional from day one. I was first contacted by James Craigen who demonstrated a high level of knowledge and professionalism.
I can honestly say it's been smooth sailing since. All paperwork and payments are taken care of promptly and hassle free.

Not a pleasant interview process
I applied for a graduate recruitment job, without prewarning or any contact I was phoned by them and was given a 40 minute interview on the spot. The lady I spoke to seemed to try and put me off the job as much as possible and made me feel rather uncomfortable. I after emailed her thanking for the opportunity and asked if I could send her my updated CV as on the call both realised they somehow had my outdated version. I never received a reply or any further contact from them despite the end of the call being told they would be in touch to let me know the outcome of my interview.
A disappointing experience
I was looking for jobs this summer and was contacted by a recruiter from g2 Recruitment about a position. This was a good match and that's the only reason they get 2 stars from me instead of 1. It was downhill from that point and a waste of my time. I told the recruiter that I was interested, send my CV and asked for more information, but there was no response for two weeks. Then another recruiter from g2 contacted me about the same position, but it was not sure if she had been in contact with the other one. Again, I said I was interested, send my CV and asked for new information. In the following week I got a call from a suppressed number (I never answer those) and then an email that she wanted to talk to me. Over the course of several weeks, I then tried to set up a phone conversation, but she did not call at the suggested time (instead at the wrong time, again only with suppressed numbers), did not react to my emails (didn't seem to have read them properly when she finally did), confused me with another person (!) with a totally different name, send me new information for totally different irrelevant positions and finally apologized and promised to call the next day, but she didn't. Then after a while she contacted me again and asked me to fill in some annoying form (would have taken me quite a while to fill everything in) because she wanted to urgently present me to a client (without even talking to me!), but at that point I had enough.
