I applied for a graduate recruitment job, without prewarning or any contact I was phoned by them and was given a 40 minute interview on the spot. The lady I spoke to seemed to try and put me off the job as much as possible and made me feel rather uncomfortable. I after emailed her thanking for the opportunity and asked if I could send her my updated CV as on the call both realised they somehow had my outdated version. I never received a reply or any further contact from them despite the end of the call being told they would be in touch to let me know the outcome of my interview.

I was looking for jobs this summer and was contacted by a recruiter from g2 Recruitment about a position. This was a good match and that's the only reason they get 2 stars from me instead of 1. It was downhill from that point and a waste of my time. I told the recruiter that I was interested, send my CV and asked for more information, but there was no response for two weeks. Then another recruiter from g2 contacted me about the same position, but it was not sure if she had been in contact with the other one. Again, I said I was interested, send my CV and asked for new information. In the following week I got a call from a suppressed number (I never answer those) and then an email that she wanted to talk to me. Over the course of several weeks, I then tried to set up a phone conversation, but she did not call at the suggested time (instead at the wrong time, again only with suppressed numbers), did not react to my emails (didn't seem to have read them properly when she finally did), confused me with another person (!) with a totally different name, send me new information for totally different irrelevant positions and finally apologized and promised to call the next day, but she didn't. Then after a while she contacted me again and asked me to fill in some annoying form (would have taken me quite a while to fill everything in) because she wanted to urgently present me to a client (without even talking to me!), but at that point I had enough.

f....ing annoying people.. Won't stop spamming even if you unsubscribe..

SCAMMERS. Will only ever call you up to fish for information as to where else you have been interviewing. Fake jobs, fake conversations. Don’t waste your time

Clearly the company is far removed from categorizing the skill-set of their potential candidates. The whole thing boils down to unnecessary email bombardment with random positions/tech-stacks/professional qualities. Bottom line, they are not helping the job seeking process anyhow.

When you give notice and work say two weeks on notice you won't get paid. I was expecting payment for one of the weeks I worked while on notice and have not been paid. The usual so-called consultants are unavailable, payroll say they will look into then absolute silence. If you need to work with this G2 best to not give notice, make an excuse to say you are sick so they pay you because all you have is the ability to withdraw your labour but, if they know you are leaving they won't pay you the final payments. If G2 dispute this I will copy emails which have all been ignored.

The most unprofessional recruitment agency I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
As an employer they showered me with CVS that didn’t match my skills criteria, hadn’t a clue about M&E.
Told lie after lie on the phone and didn’t like to be challenged about it once the truth came out.
All they want is to sign you up for lengthy contracts.
Of the two people we did employ neither had a good word to say about G2 which totally mirrors my view and perception.
Jake hasn’t a clue about customer service, and Jordon the junior as Jake describes him is only out to get a lengthy contract and a nice commission.
Avoid these two at G2 in Manchester, sadly they give recruiters a bad name, we certainly won’t use them again.

Useless Agency. I never signed up with them and am now receiving daily spam for jobs that don’t match my experience.

Terrible. Send loads of emails yet never reply to applications. called me about one job application on a withheld number and left no voice message , confirmed it was them who had called and would be calling me back shortly but never did. Waste of time

Spams me LITERALLY THREE TIMES A DAY with e-mails about jobs that don't suit me at all.

Had multiple conversations on the phone and via email with them, but they just ignore what you tell them about what you want and send you everything they have all the time.

A sales rep claimed they were referred to me by a friend. Turns out he did not refer them at all. Don't let these guys waste your time.

I had a great experience working with g2 recruitment, especially with Eleanor Baker who supported me in a very professional manner. It's pretty amazing stuff , and I don't know how she do it, but she could accelerate all the official process and helped me to join Biovotion AG in a short period of time. She was very supportive the entire time. After joining the company, she kindly continued to support me.

Working as a freelancer at G2 and it has been a great experience. No hassle with timesheets as they are done electronically, correct and in-time payments. G2 is a great recruiter to work for and highly recommended for any freelancer. Big appreciation to Deen Siari providing me the roles and extensions for the last 3 years.

In year 2019 Jake Gallagher placed me at One Creative Environment Ltd as architectural technician.
All the paperwork was carried out electronic, it was swift and quick.
Few was tick boxes exercise.
As a freelance workers my questioned were answered and to my satisfaction.
Also, as per the contract regulator payment were made.
First payment was made after four weeks, there after it was rolled out weekly.
Jake Gallagher was also contactable for chat after office hours.
My time with g2 was satisfactory and enjoyed working at OCE Ltd.

This is my second time working with G2 and it definitely won't be the last. Their consultant Jay has been a delight to work with. His professional manner and enthusiasm coupled with his knowledge of the clients and roles available for me was second to none.

It was nice to speak to someone like Jay who was genuinely interested in getting the best contract for me and always gave an honest opinion.

Their online portal and general administration support was a breeze to go through and they always stayed in touch making sure I was happy throughout the contract process.

I highly recommend that you work with G2 if you get the opportunity.

I had been with my last agency for 10 years. So i havent dealt with any other agencies in a long time. So when i applied for a role with G2, they were very efficient in getting me the job i wanted.

Working with Jake at G2 has always been a pleasure. I have been contracting for over 20 years and Jake with G2 ticks all the boxes for being a good agent.

One of the characteristics the set Jake apart is is the ability to be sincere with me about possible roles and extensions. In this day and age of using positivity as a risk avoidance technique, it's nice to have someone who is willing to share their honest perspective.

G2 follows Jake's capability, I have been paid quicker than any other agency and their online portal was easy to use. When I thought they make a mistake on payment, they quickly got the right people in touch with me, gave me all the information I needed in order to discover that is was a typo on my part.

I have read some of the reviews here and I have been very surprised at some of the negative comments. I can say that many of them, in my opinion, seems to new to using agencies, they are frustrated that the work journey is not the same that they are accustomed to.
