over 8 weeks for simple isa…
Has taken over 8 weeks for a simple isa transfer. The data they input for average share price is completely wrong and is ot based on the original book cost. Cannot speak to anyome on the phome so you play message ping pong but never any clear dates on when problems will be resolved.

User friendly and easy to navigate for beginners
Good trading platform which is commission free and has plenty of trading functions. It would be perfect if it allows auto-reinvest with cash dividends received though.

Misleading Referral Incentives and Extremely Poor Treatment of a Long-Term Customer
As a long-term investor and paid subscriber, I am lodging this review following a two-week-long dispute with Freetrade's customer service regarding a non-applied free share referral. This experience highlights misleading campaign incentives and extremely poor treatment of a loyal customer.
Misleading Incentives and Contradictory Denials
I referred a person who signed up using a newly generated referral link from the app in March 2026. Despite confirming all campaign requirements were met, the free share reward was not applied.
Customer service initially required the referred person to contact them directly due to "privacy regulations". Even after this step was completed, the reward remained missing. Freetrade subsequently provided contradictory reasons for the denial:
The company claimed the relationship was "originally created several years ago under a previous referral campaign".
The Marketing team "decided not to grant the exception" because the sign-up fell outside the eligible timeframe.
I challenged that if an old link was still active and functional without an "expired" notification, it suggests a significant failure in the software and sign-up process.
Poor Treatment of a Long-Term Customer
The referral process was misleading, did not work as advertised, and consumed a significant amount of my time for a minimal incentive. The burden of correcting what appeared to be a systems error was placed entirely on me, a long-term customer, investor, and subscription payer. The entire service experience was characterized by delays and a refusal to honour the advertised reward.

Our referral campaigns operate under strict, established Terms & Conditions, which include a mandatory 30-day timeframe to complete all account requirements, as well as exclusions for individuals who have previously initiated an account setup.
It appears that our Support and Marketing teams did thoroughly review your case. However, to ensure absolute fairness across all of our promotions, we must consistently apply these eligibility policies.
