Freenet employee at Tubingen was the best!
The freenet employee at the Tubingen branch made the whole experience very smooth and pleasant. Excellent customer service by this specific employee, very informative and knowledgeable about everything freenet has to offer and beyond. Other than that, the freenet experience after my interaction at the branch was smooth with no major problems, as should be expected from any such company.
I would never recommend them to anyone
I would never recommend them to anyone. I have learned not to respond to calls from companies like this. They send me a second contract without my approval and my request 8 months before ended my first contract, with high cost and it is unethical behaviour. All I asked for was to send me information about the contract to review what they explained on the phone, as my German language skill is not good. Instead they sent me an approval contract, and now they don't accept for cancelling my contract.

Pathetic service provider
Unfortunately very bitter experience. Last time my contract was extended “automatically” and we hd to live with that, This year i paid attention and terminated it on time. The shop operator (Kirchgasse 19, Wiesbaden) wasn’t very willing to do that; but he had too. My old mob. number wasn’t “set free” to continue it with the new provider. After many attempts to reach the customer service over the phone i made my way to the shop again. The shop operator Mr. Karadang?! (he never introduced himself in our 4 years of being customer there) told me the customer service no. is right and he can’t do any thing for me because we have trrminated the contract. I tried again to call and took an empty chair on the empty table in the shop. At that moment he started making fun of me, “i can try as much as i want, but i won’t get through as i’m doing it wrong way” and wasn’t willing to tell me the “right way”. When i asked him for help again, his answer was “even using this chair costs him money” and with his finger pointed towards the door he shouted at me to leave the shop immediately. He started yelling, i terminated your contract for free (though the termination was on tome and was meqnt to be free). with tears in my eyes… in front of a few other people I left the shop and put a complaint over the phone about his behavior (still a customer for at least 2 more months). I hope, Freenet will take care of this matter, as insulting a woman in front of any other customer is just not acceptable….. just because we were not willing to stay with his offers any more. Be careful of that shop, go for freenet online or over the phone but not in that shop, where the service provider don’t know how to talk to customers!!!!

They asked me to "online" ask for the termination of my contract, I did! Turns out its only a pre-termination, I must call them! I did! I told clearly that I want kündigung, the guy on the phone only tried to sell me Verlängerung (extension), which I refused 5 times. We have agreed to kündiung, and turns out they didnt do anything! And now I a on the phone again, couldnt move my phone number to my new provider, I have to pay at least another month of money for a service I dont use.... They also have no English speakers for support! I asked them to then cancel my contract today, and of course they canot do that I need to receive an email from them and then give them a call again! Which I did already 2 months ago!!! What a waste of money!

Freenet - incompetent useless service
I have used Freenet Wechsel-Service to change my provider and keep my 2 numbers. They were so useless that they messed up everything. First of all, I concluded 2 contracts, but discovered that only one went through after 2 months, even though I called customer service twice and they confirmed that I have 2 contracts. Therefore, I had to conclude another contract when my number was deactivated.
I had to wait one week after my contract started to get my old number, which is super annoying.

I got scammed by freenet 2 times they were calling me and hanging up the phone and charging me for different purposes. I saw today(in my bank account not in freenet app)i am paying since last eight months for some stupid online magazine offer which i never ordered. So, i called them and asked to Stop this immediately and they told me they can't help me by stopping the contract they will contact other department and they will contact me when they have time. And then i need sort it out by myself. I do not recommend to go with freenet. They are sharing your data with within there marketing network and making people fool and charging for the services that people even don't know about it. I will also not extend my contact with freenet. #Banfreenet

Good network
All is good. Number transfer was very fast, SIM came in few days. For now I do not have problems with signal. Even it is "only" LTE, it works like 5G.
