I pre-ordered the Nordic Pro bench with the GHD pad, but because of a home renovation, the boxes sat un-opened and not used. About 2 months after delivery, when my gym room was ready, I assembled the Nordic Pro bench but noticed the Nordic pad (the main pad) was cut. The shipment was packaged very well, but this clearly happened in shipping and I was worried that because I let sit for so long I wouldn't receive a favorable response from the company. But I worried for nothing; they just asked for a picture of the damage and immediately shipped a new pad.
The product itself is incredible, I absolutely love the Nordic Pro and GHD. The assembly and 'how to use' videos are also excellent. Once my FM-6 arrives and is set up I'll probably look to order the leg developer attachment too.
The price point is a touch high, but know that you're getting an excellent product with a customer service team that has your back!

I ordered and paid for the freak athlete leg developer back in May, with a promise of delivery in September. That promise was bogus, and it was promised by Oct 30. It is now November, I have not received my product or correspondence from FA after attempting to reach out. A couple months ago, freak athlete promised a weekly update email on the let developer. That update lasted 2 weeks and I haven’t received an update since. I do not have my product that I paid for in full exactly 6 months ago next week. No matter which form of communication I’ve used, I get no response. I’ve been told several different things on several different platforms but the 1 main thing is obvious… all issues go ignored unless posted in a public forum that would affect their sales. The phone number provided for assistance? Ha! No response. I wish I could have my 1200$ back for the entirety of the Nordic hyper and I hope someone more tech savvy than me finds a way to get the word out this company sucks. Update: tried calling the number below (same as was advertised on the website) and still no answer

I recently purchased a Wheelbarrow Sled. The pull mode works fine, the push mode is awkward because of misaligned handle poles, and the wheelbarrow mode is basically unusable for workouts. When in wheelbarrow mode the sled forces you to walk oddly slanted in the direction of the bent R handle pole. This uneven walking gate makes using the wheelbarrow mode of the sled unnecessarily uncomfortable and workouts uneven. I can't believe the intended user experience of the wheelbarrow sled is meant to feel unsafe and uneven. I received an email from Benji the founder telling me difference should not be noticeable in use, sadly it is very noticeable. I have requested a refund based on their "30 day money-back guarantee" and have heard nothing. I was really excited about this product but I honestly can't recommend it and regret my purchase. I no longer trust the company due to lack of product support, no resolution on my issue from customer support, and how the founder Benji replied to my issue. I am also waiting on the leg developer attachment for the nordic and have very low confidence that I will ever receive it.

I ordered the freak athlete with the leg extension/ leg curl attachment over three months ago and I continue to get a delay email. I spent over $1000 dollars and still missing the most important piece of the equipment!!! First was supposed to be delivered in September but stated new update which delayed it to October waiting for the attachment to ship and just got another email stating customs is doing a audit I wish I never went through this company!!!!!

The item I have received is well built and does what they say it does but I am still awaiting the leg developer. They said during original order in June it would be delivered in September but got delayed as they changed design without consulting customers if they were happy to wait longer. I am assuming so they could ship the new pro add-ons design. Two weeks out from the reviewed delivery date and they must delay it again due to packaging problems, it seems like constant delays. Customer service is really letting this product down.

After writing a negative review, I was contacted by the fonder of the the company who took everything in charge.
I was delivered with the wonderful machine which has an excellent built quality.
As a medical doctor specialist dealing specially with highly ranked athletes, I can certify that this engin has been well designed to strengthen, stretch and build all the postural chains muscles and I do highly recommend it.
This review will replace my previous one and I wish the best to the customers and the company.

I would like to start by saying this is a great piece of kit, I use it way more than I thought I would. My only two complaints would be 1) the velcro GHD pad is not that secure, especially after a few uses (noted they have an update pad, but that's going to cost you to fix their design flaw).
The other complaint and is the reason for the 3 stars, is their crazy wait times on international shipping. I ordered a leg developer to attach to my other Freak Athlete machine in July.....3 months later my order is still being processed.

Whilst initially communication was a little slow, Freak Athlete really upped their game. I had the Hyper GHD delivered to Germany and the speed at which they delivered was phenomenal. Great experience. Will check back in once I have used the product and provide an update!

Poor customer service, It’s been a month since I ordered a Nordic hyper and the leg developer and I still haven’t received anything. I have sent many emails regarding this and asking for a contact number, they do reply after 3~4 days giving me wrong links and order numbers, still clueless of where my order is and when I’ll receive my order and they’re yet to provide a contact number. 🤦♂️

I recently (02/07/24) purchased Nordic Hyper, but realised that I did not have space in my VERY small home gym for both this and and a regular bench. It did take customer support a little while to get back to me BUT once they did they were in constant contact and things started moving very quickly. They even refunded me the shipping cost which I wasn't expecting nor was I chasing for. Purely for these reasons, if I ever get a bigger home gym I will certainly be purchasing the Nordic Hyper.

I had purchased the Nordic Hyper on the 10th of May. It took over a month to arrive on the 20th of June, with no communication on expected delivery date. By this point, I no longer needed it as I had bought a full size GHD for my gym, so I requested a return.
They collected this on the 10th of July, and I am still waiting for a refund after 3 weeks.
This is a very poorly managed company.

The versatility of the machine is great. It doesn't take up much space and the cost for right into my budget. However, there is a lot of movement during use which can make it feel unstable. But I love this product and look forward to receiving my leg extension/ leg curl attachment.

I received my Nordic Hyper on June 12th. Because there were some minor issues, I contacted customer support and was kindly and swiftly promised to receive 2 replacement parts that would be sent to me within 2 weeks. Afterwards I haven't received any updates anymore. Not a single customer support e-mail has been answered after June 28th (I've sent 3 since). Also customer support doesn't answer my online chat requests. Last week (within my 30 days return period) I have opted for a complete return & refund, but so far also that request hasn't been answered. It appears as if customer support has somehow stopped functioning, even though the company looked very trustworthy based on all the positive review scores. I am still hoping all will be well (and I will update this review when that happens), but am becoming less en less confident that things will.
Update: last week I was finally contacted by customer support and explained that there had been a transition to a new CS-management system and for some reason my support requests hadn’t come through. My initial complaint now has been properly addressed/solved, so in the end all is well. Thank you and well done!

I think this is a really cool piece of equipment! I’m missing three screws and I really need them for it to be safe.
I wish the two pop up levers were safer when they go down. Someone it going to get hurt-loose a finger or toe. It’s a really cool idea though.

Freak Athlete products are made for people who do not want to remain average. As a personal trainer, I loved the versatility of the products. I have purchased the Nordic mini and Nordic Hyper GHD. Both are phenomenal. The engineering of the Hyper GHD is amazing. I can’t wait for the Leg Developer attachment to arrive. At least 8 different moves using one piece of equipment is great for small spaces. Its plenty heavy for the largest people to use. I honestly cant say enough good about your products. Thank you. I will be purchasing more!
