I'm slowly upgrading my ears to solid gold and have one full ear with beautiful pieces from Francesca. I'm an athlete swim & sweat is part of my every day and it's excessive. Any gold coated versions I've had just ultimately don't stand up to the test of time and tarnish and make me sad - these are unbelievably sparkly and make all my other jewelry look dull in comparison
