Good shipping and packaging

Your delivery company man did not buzz my apartment to deliver the package, instead he took my items straight to a pickup store just like the last time. In fact when my son went to pickup my stuff, the delivery man was outside yakking on his phone. Just do your Job well plus I paid for home delivery not pickup store.

I’ve placed several orders with FragranceCanada.ca, but unfortunately, my experiences have been mixed.

On one occasion, an item was missing from my order, and getting the issue resolved was unnecessarily complicated. On another occasion, they cancelled an order without providing any explanation.

To their credit, I was always refunded for anything that was cancelled or missing. However, the lack of clear communication with customers has made me stop ordering from them altogether.

At this point, I feel that ordering from them carries too much risk of disappointment, so I prefer to avoid them and shop elsewhere.

Huge selection of perfumes; shopped the clearance section and bought great quality perfumes for fantastic prices. This enabled me to buy some scents that I had not ever tried before, and love every one of them!

Was the response I received after I said the lid wasn’t on tight and half my 100ml bottle was empty when I opened it.

I had a slight problem but, it was with the delivery company... fragrance Canada have always been prompt and 90% of the time the cologne is delivered on the earliest date of the eta but never later than the last date...

The chosen products are great. Great customer service.

I initially chose Fragrance Canada because of their prices and overwhelmingly positive online reviews. Unfortunately, my experience once I actually had a problem has been horrible.

I ordered an Ariana Grande Mod Vanilla set and received a defective perfume bottle. The pump was completely unusable. I contacted Fragrance Canada within minutes of receiving and opening my shipment and provided photos documenting the problem immediately.

I received no response.

I then sent a follow-up giving them another opportunity to address the issue. As of writing this review, I am still waiting for any meaningful response or resolution.

Mistakes happen. A defective product slipping through quality control would have been frustrating, but understandable if the company had simply responded and made it right. What I find unacceptable is receiving a defective product and then seemingly being left on my own once there is actually a problem.

Their own published return policy makes this even more concerning. It states that returns must be made within 14 days of purchase, that products must be unused, unopened and still have the original cellophane intact, AND that returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee. I could not find a clear exception in that published policy explaining what happens when an item is defective.

Think about that for a second: how exactly is a customer supposed to discover that a perfume atomizer is defective without opening the perfume?

And after getting no response, I started looking more closely at the company rather than relying solely on the overwhelmingly positive reviews.

As of August 2026, the Better Business Bureau gives FragranceCanada.ca an F rating. The BBB lists 7 complaints filed against the business and specifically cites failure to respond to a complaint as one of the reasons for its rating.

That was particularly concerning to discover considering I am currently experiencing the exact problem of not receiving a response after reporting a defective product.

Their Trustpilot profile is overwhelmingly positive, but even Trustpilot currently notes directly on Fragrance Canada's profile that the company “Hasn’t replied to negative reviews.” That is something I sincerely wish I had noticed before ordering.

I'm not going to claim that the positive reviews are fake because I have no way of proving that. What I will say is that my experience has been drastically different from the impression those ratings gave me. Everything went fine until Fragrance Canada had my money and I actually needed customer service.

At this point, I will probably figure out a way to access the perfume myself because I refuse to voluntarily lose 30% of what I paid just to return a product that arrived defective.

For me, cheap prices are not worth this.

A retailer isn't really tested when an order goes perfectly. They're tested when something goes wrong. In my case, something went wrong immediately, I documented it within minutes of delivery, contacted them promptly, followed up, and so far have been met with silence.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend buying your fragrances somewhere else. Save yourself the frustration, time and potential loss of money.

If Fragrance Canada responds and properly resolves this situation, I will absolutely update this review to reflect that. Until then, I cannot recommend this company.

The shipping is a bit steep, you use UPS,
in my humble opinion Canada Post would have been fine.
