SCAM

I would not even give them a one but it's only option they are a scam take your money and you can not get intouch with them I have emaild phoned with no reply I took yearly one with medical issues so it wasn't cheap but beware they are useless u can't get intouch to make a claim not that I wanted to claim it was to see if we would be covid covered so a lot of money to use once so pleased nothing happened while I was away STAYAWAY......

Would rate as zero if possible

Would rate as zero if possible. Numerous emails sent over a 2 month period requesting a refund for my policy as not travelling due to COVID19 with no response received. Tried calling with over 60 minute wait times on each occasion. Still no refund or response. Shocking customer service.

Bad service!!

Unable to cancel my travel insurance although not travelling due to COVID 19. Tried calling but as I had purchased my policy before 16 March, the call did not even proceed any further and cut off. Terrible customer service! No way I’m buying policy from them in future and would not recommend anyone to buy from them.

Absolutely terrible customer service.

Absolutely terrible customer service.
I have been trying to get through by email and phone for 5 days and still have had zero response.
Whilst I understand companies are busy with the current coronavirus situation.
I have requested my policy to be cancelled with full refund and not even had an acknowledgement that someone is looking into this.
Very disappointing.

Bought travel insurance through…

Bought travel insurance through Fortify. Emailed twice to request a claim form and got no response.
Tried twice to call customer and when you press the number to connect to claims it disconnected.
Tried to speak to an adviser and again it disconnected before I could speak with anyone.
Scam and sadly we will now stand to lose a lot of moeny.

Appalling customer service- non existent!

I wouldn’t even give one star if the option was there. Everything you don’t want from an insurance company, no communication skills and lead you down a garden path. I can only imagine how bad it would be if I had to claim. On hold for 25 minutes after they automatically took premium from my account without notification of a 50% increase! Do not use

Terrible Company

As with other reviewers, appalling customer service from Rock / Fortify ( you just can’t get through to them by ‘phone and the website is full of errors that direct you to ring them ). Would advise everyone to avoid them at all costs :-(

Quote has doubled in price and reading reviews this company is useless..STAY CLEAR OF IT !TOTAL RIP OFF.?

Complete Rip Off!

Do not use this company!

When I bought the policy I specifically said that I was backpacking around Southeast Asia for up to a year and bought a policy that is valid for a year. Despite only being 4 months into my trip, now that I want to make a claim to see a doctor they have said that because I don’t have a return flight to the UK booked I’m not covered for anything?!

No backpacker has a return flight booked a year in advance, flights aren’t even available that far ahead! What relevance does having a return flight booked have on me being unwell now?!

Absolute scam!

Customer services is appalling

Customer services is appalling! I am trying to stop my policy automatically renewing but rang the number 7 times and was on hold for over 35 mins each time!! God forbid anyone who wants to make a claim whilst on holiday 😡😡😡

Do not use this company.

Do not use this company. They do not cover return journey delays (they're this cheap for a reason). Responses are slow and I only found out my claim was rejected after calling them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS ITS COMPLETE FRAUD, I HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR OVER 3 YEARS AND HAVE JUST HAD TO MAKE A CLAIME, REGARTLESS OFF WHATEVER YOU THINK YOUR COVERED FOR YOU WILL NOT GET THAT, BASECALY THE MINIMUM THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH GIVING AND THEY HAVE MUT MY PREMIUM UP !!!!!!!!!!! I was told I had bought and been…

I was told I had bought and been accepted for a life policy 6 days ago. All I have is an email confirming a direct debit will be taken?!!
Still got no idea on cost or even what i have supposedly got cover wise.

I have actually contacted the police as it looks like a scam to just get your account details. Luckily I am a part of a large law firm so this will look to investigate further through the FCA

THANK YOU FOR THE WARNINGS!

Thank you to all the undermentioned for your comments. I was about to purchase a travel policy via the GoCompare site. Having tried to contact Fortify to settle a couple of queries, choosing the option to "buy a new policy" and ending up with the line going dead - twice - I decided not to go ahead. The answer message also informed me that "limited information is given over the phone, full details of the policy chosen will be available after purchase". Incredible. Why does GoCompare list this site?

Thank you again for your valuable warnings, and I am truly sorry you have had these awful and stressful experiences.

Of course the true value of a good insurer is only known when you make a claim. Regulation is far from satisfactory in this industry.
