I reached out to them about a work accident case. After giving all the details, I was told someone would contact me within a week. Two weeks later and nothing, I called again. I got the same response: Someone will contact you within a week. I gave up! Totally unprofessional.

I have a simple car accident case. Since June 2024. I only spoke with an attorney once, maybe, twice. From the beginning, there was little to no movement. A paralegal was in charge. I was never advised how to proceed, what to do. Nada. About 3 months ago, a new paralegal took over the case, who seems to want to move the case along, but the attorneys have done nothing yet. Also, issues I should have been advised about, I was not. They run big advertisements but take your small cases to someone who will give you the proper time and effort. Thinking of filing a complaint soon.

They always treated me with respect and kindness.
I didn't try to pester them as some people might, but I know anytime I asked about the progress of the case they replied promptly. They were always very forthcoming about the potential results. In the end I am very confident they did everything under their power to get me the best settlement.

I called with a simple open and shut case. Was rear ended and the other driver was at fault. Morgan and Morgan said case did not qualify for them but they could refer my case to a sister company. called them again with another simple open and close case. I was involved in a head on collision where the other driver was found to be at fault. Again case did not qualify for them to pursue and again they would refer me to a sister company. I got a feeling they make their money on referrals and noy actually trying cases.

I was referred to morgan and morgan from Price Benowitz. A girl from M&M called me and told her that i was discriminated against retaliated against wrongful termination, a and a hostile work environment. Defamation of character too but that is civil matter and I'll be doing that soon. After reading all these reply I will go elsewhere. This would be such a Big WIN fir a lawyers Firm.
The intake person could hardly speak english. And i'm wondering if their operators or consultation, people will live in a different country. And are writing down something other than what i'm telling them, or whoever. You would think that they would want to go after the veterans' affairs.Because they're such a big outfit and millions and billions of dollars. I don't understand this at all.If it was a conflict of interest, then why don't they just tell me that if it's because I don't know.I mean, i've been this grip made to do things that normal people could not do.I'd taken just an ibuprofen, but anyways, I just I don't understand why they didn't take my case. All right, peace out.And you guys went into all your better and what you're out there.Thank you.

My daughter was in a horrible accident, and I reached out to this firm because they seemed big and capable of getting the job done. From my first interaction, I felt uneasy, bullied, and intimidated. I lost my job to care for my daughter, received a smaller settlement that only covered back bills and reimbursements, and by October, I was evicted and had my car repossessed because no money was coming in for my family. I’m living wherever I can, with no money to offer, but I still manage to get my daughter to her many weekly appointments. I asked M&M for an advance and explained my situation, but the case manager, Vontae, told me to just deal with it. He later offered a bogus solution and told me to call Claim Angels. Claim Angels approved me for $5,000, then claimed they didn’t service NC. I’m certain Morgan & Morgan had something to do with that, especially since I found out they do service NC. I called early the next morning and was told I’d get a call back, but by 11:17, I’d heard nothing, even though I’d been approved the day before. I reached out to attorney Barrett, who told me they weren’t affiliated with Claim Angels and called it trickery. He said they don’t like cash advances because of the interest rates. I explained my urgent situation, but he didn’t seem to care. Then he asked to speak to my minor child, who almost died in the accident and is now depressed—it’s all too much. I asked if I could seek pre-settlement funding elsewhere, and he said yes, but in the same breath tried to discourage me again because they don’t like advances. This isn’t about them—my $5,000 monthly income is now $0, and they’re speaking to me as if I’m relying on government funds when I’ve always worked very hard. I need representation that truly cares about my entire situation. I’m completely flabbergasted at the lack of professionalism

I reached out to Morgan & Morgan regarding a serious workplace injury and discrimination case. Over the course of several conversations, I provided all requested information—including the name of my employer—multiple times to three different representatives. Despite my repeated efforts to cooperate and supply details, I ultimately received a generic response stating that Morgan & Morgan was unable to represent me and that no firm in their network could handle my case.
This experience was extremely disappointing. The process felt disorganized, repetitive, and ultimately unhelpful. For a firm that advertises itself as “For The People,” I expected a much higher level of support, clarity, and commitment. Instead, I was left with no guidance, no representation, and wasted time.
To make matters worse, during the many times I was kept on hold, I repeatedly listened to their advertisements claiming how much they care about people, that all cases must be handled by them, and that they are the very best in class. My actual experience was the complete opposite of those promises.
In my view, Morgan & Morgan’s handling of my case was ineffective and provided no real value. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their intake process, communication, and follow‑through so that future clients do not face the same frustration.

Four years after I signed with Morgan & Morgan, I settled my case. My case was passed to a total of four attorneys. Each time, the new attorney's paralegal would call & request my information, again. I rarely received phone calls, texts or emails, from anyone. I had to initiate contact. Then, I spoke only to (various) "helpers". I was asked, more like expected & coerced into, signing an authorization to settle for way less than I was quoted by attorney. The attorney who I went to deposition with, lied during depo! Mediation was a joke. My two attorneys made me feel almost ashamed to want to go to trial. Stating my witness was not credible. I did not see a counselor for any punitive damages. And because of my age, xrays showed arthritis... which is what the physician wrote in medical exam notes. Yes, I had to attend an exam, four years later! I was shocked & angry. Attorneys started mediation high, & eventually I was forced to settle for amount on authorization attorney had me sign. I have never felt so used, angry & embarrassed. Never, ever, will I recommend Morgan & Morgan.

Morgan says in his ads, that truck drivers are driving all hour's days and night and are a danger on the roads. Morgan also says the truck is a killing machine. Any vehicle on the road is a killing machine.
I am a CDL.A Commercial driver and have over 2.5 million accident-free miles over a 30-year career.
Most truck driving companies in today's time have a Qual-Com computer installed in their trucks. This device monitors time, distance, stops, and hours availably for a 24-hour period. When the driver gets close to running out of hours for the day, the system communicates to the driver how much time is left. A driver can work 14 hours in a 24-hour period. 11 hours driving and 3 hours working/not driving. When the driving hours run out, the truck will go into Limp/Mode and will not travel over a speed of 5 mph. The computer also sends a message to the dispatcher that you have run out of time. The computer resets after the 24 hours have runs its course. So, Morgan is wrong when he makes his ad about the trucking industry.

For ALL to read, beware!! My wife was rear-ended by some hillbilly trucker, at first Morgan was all over it, then they realized that there was no witness to this, they ran away from the case. IF IT IS NOT A LAYDOWN CASE ,ANOTHER WORDS,IF THEY HAVE TO DO ANY WORK AT ALL, THEY WILL NOT TAKE YOUR CASE. A bunch of lazy creeps! Go elsewhere.

Our auto accident case started on September 19, 2023. On March 28, 2024, a legal representative of M&M confirmed bodily injury coverage with the insurance company. We had 3 different legal teams assigned to our case during the time frame. We were told a court date would be set for February 2026. On June 24, 2025, we were informed that M&M declined to represent us any further in this case. The reason was that the defendant was not named on the insurance policy. It took 15 months to determine this information. During the entire process M&M gave us hope that our claim would be successful and that we would be able to pay for future medical treatments. To have that hope taken away after such a long period of time is difficult to accept. After receiving the notice of cancellation form M&M we were invited by the attorney to ask any questions, which we did. To date we have yet to receive a response. The case number is #14878380. We also responded several times via the email address for complaints to M&M at their posted email address.

Morgan and Morgan, specifically John Morgan, takes tremendous pride in the size of his company as evidenced by his commercials, his signs, etc. He puts a lot of focus and attention on the phrase, " for the people." It's understood that all companies, as well as all humans, have their faults, setbacks, misunderstandings, etc. No matter how successful and productive a person or company becomes, you have to weigh the character of that entity. Growth can come quickly but it's pride that will eventually crush the business. This may be the largest personal injury firm in the country, but it doesn't mean it's the best and according to the reviews, it is widely believed this company should reconsider it's catch phrase to read " we use the people". It would seem that since the company is so huge, others, meaning the smaller firms or attorneys who practice independently, are being pushed to the wayside because people tend to think that bigger is better. The only reason this firm wants to be bigger is because they " love " money for themselves. If you don't have a lucrative case, you aren't going to get the " fight" Mr. Morgan claims he does for his clients.
Doesn't that make you kind of think, " Hmmmm, if this company isn't for the small guy, I wonder how much they are for me." You really have to read in between the lines. " If this company is so set on being the biggest, how much time are they really going to spend on your case? It seems that they are so focused on growing that they aren't committed to quality and real customer service. This company is all about winning and they will cut deals to claim the title of "winner" even if it means the client gets little to no return. There are reviews that talk about how the company settled for less than what they could have gotten for the client. Why is that? My theory is that they want to settle out as a " win" to make their numbers look good. Their hope is that the client ISN'T well versed in the matters of law and they hope the client doesn't figure out what the firm is doing behind the scenes. When people get burned, they start to investigate but by then, it's too late, the case is settled and it's over. I must admit, I thought that bigger was better until I seen the gross mishandling of my case. I read somewhere that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Money itself isn't evil but if you deal with folks who love it, they will do whatever they can to get it. Now, have they done good for some people? Of course but they profited as a result, and that is an expectation. However, the bad seems to outweigh the good. There are reviews that have not been written, there are losses the company doesn't want the public to see, etc. They want the reputation of " winner" even if it means getting a lesser settlement for the client. They aren't "for the people". There are folks who have a good case but Morgan and Morgan aren't for you....they're for money, so a good case isn't good enough if you don't have dollar signs to go with it. Am I making sense??? I had an experience with this firm that really helped me put into perspective what they are about. Now, this is my experience, however, it seems to be the experience of many others. Being the biggest truly means nothing when you don't have the character that goes along with it. Ask Morgan and Morgan about their loss rate and see what they say... ask if their firm has ever been sued for malpractice, it seems there are some cases mentioned online. My understanding is that arbitration is usually not open to the public, meaning that you really don't know how many times Morgan and Morgan, as well as other firms, have been sued. Of course I expect that if the firm were to read this review, they would respond with a pre-written " so sorry" etc.... but we know that is just to save face, not solve a problem. Please be mindful in who you choose to defend you. I would not choose this practice. That doesn't mean there aren't really good attorneys in this firm, but taking the risk isn't worth it simply because the ones who manage the firm seem to oversee it with poor character. I hope this review helps.
UPDATE: As you can see, Morgan and Morgan reached out to me via this post. This is a generalized answer. When a company has so many complaints regarding the same issue, it's easier to come up with a general answer. This alone can show the magnitude of the complaints the company receives. Secondly, you'll notice that they will try to use " emotions" and possible " misunderstanding" of how the law works, as a defense for why "you" are upset. I think this company would gain a whole lot more respect and possibly see some folks re-evaluate their opinions, if the company would just come out and say how much they failed and apologized instead of faking an apology and trying to make the client seem like the problem.

My parents were in a multi car accident that wasn't their fault, and both of my parents were injured in the accident. When Morgan and Morgan settled the case they took 33% of my dad's settlement and 33 % of my mom's settlement so they got over 66% of the settlement. It should have been just 33% of the settlement because it was one accident, not two separate accidents they were in the same vehicle. They are a greedy law firm looking to line their own pockets off your misfortune. I do not recommend them to anyone.

After submitting a detailed inquiry through their online form, I received a call from an intake representative literally seconds later—before there was even a chance to review the detailed content I had just submitted. I was asked to repeat the same information I had already taken the time to provide, which felt redundant and inefficient.
I expressed my concern that it would be more effective—and respectful of the client’s time—if their team were to briefly review submitted inquiries before making contact. After offering this feedback, I was told they couldn’t assist me. This came across as dismissive and gave the impression that the decision was based more on internal limitations or a rushed process rather than the actual merit of my situation.
Their intake workflow doesn’t allow time to assess a case properly before calling, which results in critical gap in their service delivery. It also reflects poorly on the care and consideration that prospective clients hope to receive.
They need to consider adjusting their approach to ensure future applicants feel heard, not dismissed.

I certainly wish I had read the reviews prior to hiring Morgan and Morgan. What a joke of a company. The employees could care less. It makes me sick to my stomach! It is actually shameful that a law firm can treat people and there cases as they do!

Morgan and Morgan lawyer is handling my 81yr old mother's fall case. After the deposition the lawyer Brittany P. told my parents on speaker that all you had to do was say "you tripped on the fu**ing rug". My mother was so upset. That's completely unprofessional and verbally abusive. They will not let me make a complaint because I am not the client. If not her child who else is going to protect an elderly parent from this kind of treatment.

This is another dishonest law firm. I was trespassed and assaulted in my home twice by pigs from the Covington Police Department as well as the Sheriff's Dept. I was ignored by every lawyer in Memphis as well as Tipton County. I know I have a case because both Cochran and Crump also told me they couldn't help me and to contact the bar for a lawyer as soon as possible. The Tn bar is absolutely filled with corrupt lawyers as well so I wouldn't get help from them. This is because I was beaten and injured by pigs for no reason. Then they lied on me. I had no criminal history yet they lie always and say the victim they beat assaulted them. I never thought I would state this but we need to defund these police. Anyway, because so many lawyers are involved in my racketeering, there isn't one that will help. Morgan and Morgan is terrible. I called them twice and they ignored me. The first case, I hired Barney Witherington and that liar wanted me to plead no contest. I would later learn that this lawyer was involved in the setup of the police beating with William Peeler. There was a theft of about 200K of timber from my farm by the former sheriff, Witherington, and Michael Turner. He had also sent a team of CIs to steal my ID and LLC. He had set up the entire trespass, assault, and ransacking and wanted me to claim I was temporarily insane. You don't have to be smart to know that this was terrible malpractice. i refused and set about to look for a lawyer to help me because this fraud only intended harm for me. The second time he and William Peeler had me fraudulently arrested, Milfred Eckel was represented me initially. I suspected he was involved with Witherington. He had intentionally botched a several previous cases. I believe the opposing lawyers cut him into the mineral royalty theft with Turner. This lawyer was also pals with the sheriff that was involved in the timber theft. i wanted the body cam because I knew had assaulted me and taken me somewhere to torture me. My boyfriend had just returned from the hospital and couldn't walk so the pigs left him here alone! They would kill him in a facility in two months. I fired Eckel and hired a Memphis lawyer. I paid him 25K to get the body cam. Suddenly William Peeler resigned and appointed Eckel as judge. Then they dismissed the charges but made a bunch of demands on me. The lawyer knew all this but wanted to steal 25K from me as a flat fee payment. He knew the the frauds would dismiss the charge as they were colluding with Eckel, the new judge. Tennessee bar is full of liars and murderers. There was no lawyer that would help and that includes the bar. They avoid me and don't answer.
