They offer better prices than old recycling companies I know.

Sold and sent a phone in February, and to date no money or return of the phone. Lots of correspondence at the start, some bs about having moved offices and that new tenants weren't giving them the post. Then that manager went on holiday, then another was away... But then total silence. So now I have no phone or cash. Avoid at all costs

Tried to contact them via numbers on the site. Nothing from my emails sent ether.

If I could give zero I would. Dec 2023 I sent in my phone and I've received nothing, no one responds to emails or phone calls. They have my phone all I received was an acknowledgement, no payment received. Scammers, do not use!!

I sent this company my phone in December 2024. In January I received an apology to say that they were dealing with high demand. It's now 18th March and I've received no further update. They haven't responded to my emails and the phone number on their website doesn't work. They now leave me no choice but to go to trading standards. Avoid this company.

Update.
A day after posting this review I was finally contacted by Fonepal. They apologised and offered an extra 10% on my phone value, which I accepted and has now been paid. I do think they need to improve the speed of contact to customers though. Not hearing anything for weeks and not answering the phone is not best practice. However, all is sorted now. Thank you.

Received confirmation they had received my mobile phone on 24 January but heard nothing since. Tried contacting them 6 times and still no response. Disappointing service.

Update: I received a response the day after posting this review, apparently delayed due to their email being hacked. Received an apology and reached a satisfactory resolution.

Offered a good price for my broken iPhone and it’s a better than most recycling companies out there

Sent x2 phones to fonepal back in Nov this year. Had an email to confirm they were received. Since then, I have received no communication. I have sent a number of emails and tried phoning tens of times only to hear a voicemail message stating that the person isn’t available.
I am unsure if this company is legit?

Sold my phone back in September, however no payment had been received. I attempted to contact customer service on a number of occasions, but barely had any response after a month. Their contact number is unresponsive.

*Update*

Following this review and a complaint I sent, they reached out to me highlighting all of the issues they have been facing as a company, hence the delays and lack of response.

As a gesture of goodwill, they have applied an additional £5 reimbursement along with my payment. As a result, their service was provided in the end, but could have been better.

The company made contact and apologised for the delay in replying, and offered a 10% increase in the value offered.
All sorted, so no complaints regarding Fonepal
