No confirmation email, wood isn't dry, shoddy communication

I placed an order on the website for dry wood, 1.5 cubic meters.
I didn't get any email with confirmation number for the order or anything like it. I got a text after a couple of days that I will be contacted within the week.
After a week I texted back asking about the delivery. They did answer me quickly but said that the wood isn't actually dry and will need to stand for a year, also that the delivery is on Saturday.
