Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 62 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the quality of the products, often receiving flowers that were already wilting, dead, or of a much lower standard than expected. Customers also frequently felt that the price did not match the value of the product received, with many stating that the bouquets were small, contained too many fillers, or were less vibrant than advertised. Issues with orders, such as incorrect flowers, wrong quantities, or missing items, were also commonly reported, leading to dissatisfaction with the value received. Some people were dissatisfied with the delivery service, experiencing delays, missed deliveries, or flowers arriving in poor condition despite timely shipping. Conversely, a small portion of people were satisfied with their experience, praising the beauty and freshness of the flowers, the timely delivery, and the overall quality of their orders, with some even highlighting the excellent subscription service.

The flowers I ordered arrived on time…

The flowers I ordered arrived on time and the red lilies were stunning. Great customer service as I forgot to put the correct delivery address and realised they would be sent to me not my friend. I emailed the company immediately and they put the new delivery address on the order. I found the flowers also compared favourably with other companies. Would recommend this company

Never delivered…

The flowers I ordered were never delivered. We think they may have been sent to a similar address ending in Gardens rather than Avenue. I hope to get my money back.

Awful experience, poor quality and not as described.

Very poor experience!
On your website, you state that the business was founded to avoid “Unreliable flower deliveries, arrangements that don’t match the photos, and customer service that disappears when you need help.”

In the words of Meatloaf, “Two out of three ain’t bad” — although in this instance, for both my mum and I, it really is.

The delivery itself went as expected, so thank you to Royal Mail for that. However, the flowers that were delivered, together with the complete lack of customer service so far, leave a great deal to be desired.

The image of the bouquet I ordered from your website is primarily white and clearly includes ranunculus, eucalyptus and salal, along with the other blooms advertised. Unfortunately, what was actually delivered to my mum cannot be compared. The arrangement is predominantly pink, contains none of the advertised foliage, and the tulips appear to have only a couple of days of life left in them. It looks cheap and bears little resemblance to what was ordered.
There was also no ranunculus and no alstroemeria included at all.

While I understand that substitutions may sometimes be necessary, as stated on your website, this is not a substitution. It is a clear omission of key elements from the advertised arrangement, resulting in something that is materially different from what was ordered.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described and of satisfactory quality. Unfortunately, this arrangement does not meet either of those standards.

There has been no response to my emails or telephone calls today. I can only assume that you are inundated with similar disappointed customers who relied on you for Mother’s Day flowers.
You had one job to do, and you failed. I only wish that I had looked at the TrustPilot reviews before ordering from you.

Mother's Day Ruined

Ordered tulips for Mother's Day, the flowers failed to turn up. They have not responded either through email or phone call.

Discount code expired

I purchased a wowcher to use against the order I wanted to place with flowers by flourish. The code I was given didn't work so I contacted the company to ask what the issue was with the code. They said the code had expired and I would need to apply for a refund from wowcher, I had only bought the deal two days prior. Now I receive lots of spam emails from them, however I won't be placing an order with them.

£20 for 2 bunches of Daffodils

I received flowers from my husband yesterday, daffodils. I cannot express my disappointment as half of the bulb heads were already open and his disappointment at the price he paid for very few flowers. £20 for what was no more than 2 bunches of daffs, which would cost £2 in a supermarket.
Needless to say we have complained and await their response. Will not being using again or recommend.

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY !

My BIG mistake was not reading the dreadful Trustpilot reviews about these people before placing my order.
There are always reasons why companies get terrible reviews.
The flowers I ordered were never delivered despite Parcel Force claiming that they had attempted delivery twice.
This has caused upset and embarrassment.
Flourish are suggesting that the delivery address I put on the order was incorrect . This was an extremely important birthday gift for a close friend who has lived at the same address for more than 25 years! The address I gave them was NOT incorrect. They are to be avoided AT ALL COSTS !!

Lovely flowers

I always think about these guys when I need to order flowers and I'm never disappointed with the quality of the flowers when they're delivered

It's so easy to order, the website is so easy to read and there's nice clear pictures of the flowers you're buying

The subscription service is really good and it's a good price - will always use these guys for flowers and flower subscriptions

Poor quality product. Poor customer service. Try somewhere else.

Delivery was fine. Shipping process was fine. Product was old and tired and way past it's best. Petals had already started to rot before I opened it. The valentines bouquet (priced at £72) last 4 days tops before it looked like it needed to be thrown out. £1 Daffodils from local shop last far longer. Sent photos back and complained. Offered a discount on future purchases. I will never buy from this retailer again. I suggest you don't either

Inverted hyacinths

Inverted hyacinths.
These were a present from my beloved cousin.
She then emailed me warning about the reviews.
I didn’t see her email and opened the very large box to find a selection of hyacinths. Some were open some already past it and some had yet to open.
They smelt nice but their stems had been hacked (no other term fits this) so they had partial bulbs attached which meant they were incredibly hard to display. They ended up in a cocktail shaker base inside a vase.
They immediately flopped and spent their time upside down. 🙃 I can’t believe this company is staffed by florists…… I can’t imagine how much they cost as the box was ginormous….. fab for people who like their flowers upside down!

Delayed delivery

Very disappointed as after receiving confirmation of expensive order and further email saying flowers were being delivered on specific stated day, my order was then not delivered with no further explanation or notification of the delay. Contacted company following day about non-delivery on the previous day but replies back refused to take responsibility for delivery not taking place on the expected day. My contract was with Flowers by Flourish ( and not with Royal Mail ) so the excuse given to me that delays can happen is just unacceptable given the amount I was charged for the fresh flowers expected. Not even an offer from them to refund me the expensive delivery charge paid, so having subsequently checked that failure by them to deliver within the expected time given is a contractual failure on their part I have requested a refund via my bank.

Ordered some flowers for Valentines Day…

Ordered some flowers for Valentines Day 2026, which cost £36.99. Valentine's Day is on a Saturday 14th February to find the flowers will be delivered on Friday, 13th February. Who the hell delivers flowers on Friday the 13th. You could have got the day right surely since it's one of your biggest selling days of the year.
A really crap experience with this firm that I probably won't be repeating.

online order

the peonies they sent today from Flowers by flourish arrived dry and lifeless. They looked as if they were picked out of a bin. the petals were dull and wilting, the leaves were brittle and brown and the overall bouquet looked dead and rotten on arrival. It's very unprofessional to send something in that condition. Take care, do not order flowers from them.

Christmas present

I spoke to James before Christmas as I wanted to order flowers for our daughter in law as a Christmas present and wanted them delivered each month from January to March . He was very helpful and got it all set up. The 1st arrived in January and they were lovely and the 2nd arrived this week and they were even better such a lovely selection of beautiful flowers. Our daughter in law was over the moon with her present and so pleased with her flowers each month. Looking forward to seeing the flowers in March. Great flowers for such a great price. Can’t praise James enough. Thank you for cheering our daughter in law up each month when it is so miserable outside. 👏👏👏
