The best customer service from Brad

I have used Floor to your Door a number of times over 10 years and can't recommend them highly enough. The reason for this is that Brad knows the value of customer service. He's a top man on top of his customers and I always feel valued, very rare these days, he's on top of every small issue and thinks about you over spending on your orders.

I would always recommend them to everyone I know looking to buy. Thanks again Brad

Great quality carpet and underlay

Great quality carpet and underlay. They even upgraded the underlay as they had ran out of the one I ordered. Would definitely order again. Saved around £400 compared to what another company was quoting for the same carpet.

Don't waste your time.....

Don't spend any time choosing your carpet, underlay, grippers, luxury vinyl, astro turf...... until you check if they deliver to your area.....AND don't believe what their website says... quote "it's an old website and needs updating"
'Speedy nationwide delivery service' what a load of rubbish.... obviously their sat nav doesn't work past Devon.
I have an order for over £1600 but will give it to a company that is bothered about customer service.
UPDATE.... Your postcode checker stated that you covered TR13 so maybe check your facts before replying to reviews as you then just look incompetent as well.

Sorry you are not happy with Floor To You Door. We can get deliveries to most areas in the country but unfortunately not all. So on the website we have a postcode checker so customers can check their own postcode before they place an order and then there is the checkout that will not take payment for an order not covered by the delivery company. I would say this was pretty good customer service as we are doing our up most not to take a payment for an order we can't deliver as was in your case. I know there are online flooring companies that do not have these safeguards in place and customers often have to wait several days for the banks to process refunds for orders that can not be delivered. I do hope you manage to find a company that can deliver to your area.
The postcode checker actually says "please call for days" when you put in TR13 not that we definitely deliver and unfortunately we can not get deliveries to TR13.
I would understand your problem if we had taken payment from you and not delivered but we didn't take a payment because we couldn't deliver. Nobody has ripped you off or anything like that all we have done is told you that we can't deliver carpets to your area.

Great experience

Great experience! We had been messed around by another carpet company for weeks and called Floor to Your Door to see if they could get us the carpet that we wanted quickly. They were so nice, really helpful and sorted everything out so fast. Great communication too which was really reassuring. After such a stressful experience with the first company this was such a relief. Thank you!

Excellent service from Floor To Your…

Excellent service from Floor To Your Door.
After checking availability of stock, I proceeded to purchase a carpet and underlay online. A simple system once you know your measurements. Order placed midday Monday, all goods arrived Wednesday morning. Highly recommend.

I would not use again

EDIT TO RESPOND TO COMPANY:

I have copies of both my invoices which clearly show the altered one. I cannot upload them here.

I chose not to answer the two calls from you on that particular day as it was stressing me out hearing you promise to send my items out and that "they will be with you today" when I knew fine well nothing was ever coming. I emailed you instead.

You did NOT clearly admit the incorrect delivery was your fault at all. Initially you went off my first call to see if the supplier would reduce the standard delivery fee of £30 down to something more reasonable, at my request, as I thought I had incorrectly ordered the wrong items. I realised the issue after we hung up and called YOU back. That is when you admitted the issue at your end.

£36.72 was refunded yes, although this does not make this whole process worthwhile. I waisted a whole week not being able to complete the job I planned, and waisted a lot of time waiting by the door for delivery's that never showed.

Original Review:

I would not use again. My invoice was fraudulently changed to make it look like I ordered different, in stock items to what I actually wanted! I almost paid extra for the items, plus delivery, thinking it was me who made the error! I was promised exchange items. Even after a week of waiting home every day for the new delivery, I still had missing items and I STILL don't have what I ordered to get my job finished. I also didn't realise this was a drop shipping set up. Because of this, I had no direct contact to my supplier or delivery company. I was helpless, relying on a 3rd party company.

Dear Mr Wilson,

Thank you for your review. I will list a blow by blow account of your transaction with us, starting with when we found out there was a problem and including some bits you left out. But firstly I would like to ask you to produce the fraudulently changed invoice for us all to see.

We received a call from you saying you had ordered the wrong materials and we pointed out to you that you hadn’t and the mistake was at our end, a dispatch note had been incorrectly copied on to the shipping system and that is why you had received two lots of coving and no capping instead of one lot of each.
We arranged for the correct materials to be delivered the following day by DPD. However you emailed us later that evening to say that DPD had not turned up. We called you back and said that we would chase it up first thing in the morning.

In the morning as promised, your delivery was chased up and we were assured the you would receive it that day. We called you again to let you know what we had been told. Later that day I called you to make sure you had received the two missing lengths of skirting capping but you did not answer, I tried to call you several times over the next couple of days and left answer phone messages but got no reply so I assumed the delivery had been made.

We didn’t hear any more until we received the email from you saying you still had not received the capping and that you wanted the £6.72 payment refunded. We refunded the £6.72 and as a good will gesture we also refunded you an additional £30. (Refunds not mentioned in your review)

Just to touch on one more point you mentioned in your review, you were only helpless in your view because you chose not to answer your phone or reply to our messages.

Finally, we are sorry you never received the capping but had hoped that the full refund and the extra £30 good will gesture would have in some way helped compensate you for the inconvenience.

You have only ever received one invoice from us and that was at point of sale and that will show the goods you ordered. The only other document you will have will be the delivery note that you would have received on delivery and seeing as this is where the mistake was made at our end, that will show the goods that were delivered not what was ordered. (NO FRAUD)

After our initial conversation when, I emphasise, that you told me that you had ordered two lots of coving instead of one lot of coving and one lot of capping I did try to see if I could get the replacement capping delivered free of charge. That was when it became apparent that the mistake was at our end so there would be no delivery charge to you anyway.

I personally tried calling you on the day the replacement was due and could not get an answer or reply to my voicemails and likewise for the next two days before I just assumed the delivery was completed. It was not until the third day that you emailed us and said you still hadn’t received the capping. If you had answered the phone we would have been able to sort the problem out.

I am very sorry that you got so stressed out over the £6.72 worth of capping that you were unable to answer your phone but like I said before if you had been able to answer your phone we could have sorted it out.

So as I said before the £6.72 refund was for the capping you never received and the £30 refund was a good will gesture.

In short we both no what happened here. There was a mistake at our end that could have been rectified if you had answered your phone and there is no fraudulent invoice as you put it.

Brad provided fantastic customer…

Brad provided fantastic customer service. He phoned me after I sent an email request. He confirmed the carpets were in stock and you can even select your delivery date. Brad also phoned me on the day of delivery to confirm approx time of delivery. Fantastic service and great prices. I wouldn't hesitate to use again. This company are based in Bristol but delivered to me in Glasgow and the service was better and more reliable than local companies in my area. Thanks again.

Brilliant

after spending months and months trying to source a specific carpet and being constantly messed around and being given false promises i was eventually advised to contact Floor To Your Door. After making contact and discussing what it was i was after i can honestly say i was not disappointed. They were more than helpful, incredibly courteous and extremely professional. The overall price was a fraction of what i was being quoted by company's that didn't even have the stock. Delivery was on time with no delay and the driver was also very helpful and friendly. FLOOR TO YOUR DOOR will be my go to now for all flooring needs and queries

Amazing Company

Amazing company. Placed my order, got immediate confirmation and dispatch notification. Arrived on my specified date. Delivery driver was brilliant & very helpful. Carpet was exactly as advertised, good quality, excellent value for money. Would totally recommend them and use them again.

All round excellent service

Carpet arrived with 20 min warning. Friendly and helpful delivery guy. Beautiful carpet. All round excellent service - very refreshing in this day and age. Thank you.

What a find.......

Needed some vinyl for the kitchen and had been looking for a couple of weeks when I stumbled on Floor To Your Door website. Saw the vinyl I had decided on, it was also the best price I had seen online so I decided to go ahead and order. I am so glad I did. The very next morning I received a phone call to confirm everything, emails updating me along the way. So professional and well organised. The flooring arrived on my chosen day, just waiting to lay it now to transform my kitchen.
Just want to say thank you so much for a great A1 service.
