same as many people these alarms are chirping after 4 years when promise was 10 year battery life. And batteries cannot be replaced so dreadful waste of money and also environmentally poor because have to throw away so soon

Do not purchase these alarms

Same as other reviewers, we purchased when new ScotGov regulations came into effect. Complete scam, by end of 2025 every single alarm had given up the ghost. Do not buy from this company.

One of my smoke alarms chirps when room temperature drops to 17 degrees Celsius.
No response from customer service. Can only email, no contact number.
Would like a replacement, but suspect I’ll need to buy a whole new package, from another company of course!

I have the same complaint as all the…

I have the same complaint as all the rest. Bought in 2022 with 10 year guarantee but now beeping consistently after only 4 years and it seems there is no recompense.
I just want to know how to switch the damn beeping off. Leaflet says press button for 10 seconds, but no button on units and remote doesn't work, aaah

More info to my negative review

I wrote a very negative review recently but have since learnt that my alarms may be bleeping due to dust and that it is good to clear dust regularly. However, I never managed to get any customer support … no phone number advertised and did not respond to emails.

Likewise. Devices installed in January 2022 due to the Scottish Government edict. Sold as a 10 year life product, now chirping after just 4 years. Has anyone reported this to Trading Standards?

I totally agree with the reviews i…

I totally agree with the reviews i have seen one oof my alarms has started bleeping once every minute. you cannot get to sleep for it and my little dog is petrified of it i will be taking it down just got them in 2021 seems to be no way to get in touch with them will not deal with this CRAP COMPANY ps i know i gave them one star i could would give them minus one

These products are required by law it’s an absolute scam.

Much the same as most customers here faulty product poor battery life with no means to contact for warranty replacement.
These products weren’t cheap in fact at the time when all this was being pushed by government this product was advised as being reliable and reputable.
So much for government advice someone has made a few bob out of this scam.

Like everyone else purchased full…

Like everyone else purchased full system in Jan 2021 (£319) and stated beeping randomly Dec 25. Have found it difficult trying to get a telephone number and from reviews no point in wasting any more time emailing. Would definitely NOT recommend this company!!

Echoing all the previous reviews, alarms not functioning despite 10 year guarantee. No response to emails and phone contact untraceable. Totally unacceptable yet still trading. Waste of money and not cheap. Do not purchase from this company.

Common with others, early battery depletion

Seems I add my comments to others in that some of my units with a supposed 10 year battery life are now indicating low battery. I purchased a pack of 10 and with 2 needing replacement I am reluctant to replace with this model and yet it's supposed to be a complete connected system as required by the Scottish Government. My previous NEST units with their replacement batteries were far better (yes, I know there was no heat alarm). But if units are failing before time and the whole needs to be disposed, that's an unnecessary expense both for me and for recycling.

Awful - avoid

Echoing almost every other reviewer here, our fire guard plus system fitted in January 2022 has started chirping intermittently since December 2025 I’ve had zero response from the company after emailing them to ask for support. Definitely do not buy any products from this company! Wish we had chosen differently when the regulations came in.

A total waste of money (£175)

A total waste of money (£175). 10 year lifespan my article. Have only had them 3 years. No response to email. It seems to start bleeping when the temperature goes down to 16 c - so you have to put central heating on to get it to stop costing you money on gas. I know other people having the same experience.

Same chirping SCAM as others here!

Same as everyone else… Bought for myself and 2 neighbours to comply with the regulations!
They started to randomly chirp, contacted customer services with original receipts but no reply…

Installed 3 smoke alarms and 1 heat detector in February 2022. December 2025 alarms went off about 6am with no obvious cause. Now there is an intermittent beeping early morning and alarm going off every other day. Having read other recent similar reviews we will be replacing all alarms with a different brand. So much for 10 year guarantee.

DO NOT BUY!

DO NOT BUY!! Same issue as others, bought a bundle to comply with regulations and they were OK for 3 or 4 years. But now they chirp a lot, seems to be worse when the house is cold. No reply from the company to my email. My mother bought the same ones as me for her house, same issue too. Probably going to take then down as too noisy too sleep.

Shockingly bad

We have the same shocking experience, spent a small fortune on interlinked alarms, and started beeping earlier this year, contacted them and no online reply but a new alarm arrived in the post about a month later, more alarms beeping now and messaged multiple times with no response
