Have had Fibrecast Gigabit set up in my flat for a month now through CityFibre. Set up was easy, I scheduled a date for a few days later and engineers were out on time, set up router in the place I wanted very quickly and with very little mess. The internet connection itself has also been great.

Also got the date of my direct debit changed to after payday with a single email - the entire problem was resolved in about 10 minutes.

wouldn't recommend if you have cityfiber set up in your home already since they dont have automatic customer service to tell you when they are going to set you up and no one bothers to text, send an email or call you themselves. After 2 weeks wait with no contact they tell you your set up day is the day you call up to cancel. Maybe in a year or 2 this will be streamlined but for right now its extremely poor service. The lady I spoke to on the phone and Sebastian were lovely to talk too but it was a too little too late situation.

Been with them for around 6 months now. Engineers for install were fantastic, good banter and very good job at installation. Had not a single issue since then. Router they supply is pretty good too, and speeds are pretty consistent.

I had been looking to switch Internet provider due to a bad experience with my previous one and Fibrecast seemed like perfect fit as it was a local company and the interactions I had with Sebastian were very professional and put my concrete decision to switch to Fibrecast in the works. I was worried about downtime and being without Internet, however I was reassured that everything would be fine. Sebastian hand delivered the router two days earlier than expected which was nice personal touch and my service went live as planned. It seems flawless so far. Speeds are as advertised and setup was pretty much plug n play. Thanks again Sebastian and Fibrecast. I appreciate your customer service and look forward to being a customer of yours for many years to come.

This company from start to finish have given me exemplary services from installation to returning to solve a small issue to the actual very high strength of WiFi without it dropping.

The customer support folks are very responsive. They got me connected up quickly and have responded very promptly to the (very few) problems I've had.

Been with Fibrecast for about a year now, never had any issues with my connection, went for the full fibre 1000mb/1000mb, brilliant speed at a great price, static IP too which is almost impossible to get on a residential service. Brilliant local company, couldn't recommend them enough!!!

Fibrecast, in particular Kieran have been fantastic to deal with from start to finish. Our property was unable to receive fibre until Fibrecast stepped in, if they did not we would be waiting a further two years for Open Reach. The connection is speedy and reliable.

They’ve been great from start to finish, I signed up 4 days before installation, the modem was hand delivered by FibreCast the day before installation (nice touch) and the service was up and running the same day of installation. There was a suggested 24 hr provisioning before I would get signal I was told however I work from home so called Fibrecast who switched it on immediately.

The same day I spoke with Kieran at the office who helped me understand the speeds I was getting, and explained clearly to this dinosaur that certain mobile phones will not show accurate speeds as the chip within is limited (iPhone XR limit 450mbps ish), once tested on another device I can see I am getting approx 600/700mbps wireless and 850mbps wired!

Don’t be afraid of this local company, their service has been perfect from start to finish :)

Fibrecast, from my first enquiry, has provided excellent customer service and all the informationneeded to get ready for installation.
On the day, the installers turned up promptly. We agreed on a practicable access point into our house. One man worked inside the house whilst the other did the gardening between the toby and the outside wall. The installer was knowledgeable, polite, and wore overshoes while indoors. The installation was complete wihin an hour and the garden was left tidy.
A walk round the house with my phone on Wifi scanner showed a very useable signal even at points furthest away from the router provided.
Measured speeds are as advertised and the deal is saving me £11 pcm on my existing provider with a better signal.
If you're in Dundee I would recommend giving this local business an opportunity when you change provider.

So far so great. Connection reliability and speed has been good. Fitting was very straightforward. Tech support from kevin was knowledgeable, friendly, and couldn’t be more helpful.

Initially chose another provider to supply full fibre package however was having a nightmare getting it connected so cancelled and went with Fibrecast. I am so glad I did as it is an excellent service, great communication and aftersales. Speeds and performance are excellent, I would highly recommend.

Reliable fast broadband. The only small complaint I have is when the system went down for maintenance, I didn’t know this was happening, and tried to get it going again.

Nice simple service with local contact. No big call centre in India, just simple local communication. When service did go down I was contacted and advised what the problem was (out with their control). Just straight forward reliable service. Only a pity the VOIP is not enabled.

I decided to get the fibre option to provide higher upload speeds as the other offers based on ADSL on Virgin cable are not nearly as fast. Having used Fibrecast Ltd for commercial ISP delivery and had a very positive experience of their service I also went with them for my domestic fibre connection.

The fibre itself is provided by CityFibre and they did a reasonable job of installing from the street up to my 3rd floor flat with a tidy and fairly unobtrusive job a month or two ago. The supplied router by Fibrecast is of decent commercial quality and "just worked" out of the box, however, I soon changed to use my own specialised router and that is not as simple due to the the Fibrecast connection using a VLAN, but with advice it worked first time.

The upload and download speeds when tested comfortably met the advertised 300 Mbit and overall impression of internet access is much improved.

There is no phone with this (possibly they do offer calls separately but that was not needed here) and I don't know how the long-term reliability will turn out, but so far everything has just worked great for broadband. Would definitely recommend them!
