Feefo operates as a closed platform, meaning we ensure that only verified customers—those who have actually used a product or service—can leave reviews. This approach helps maintain the credibility and reliability of the feedback you see on our site. In contrast, open platforms allow anyone to submit reviews, which can sometimes lead to less reliable or biased feedback. We believe that by verifying customers, we offer a more accurate reflection of user experiences.

How this company uses Trustpilot
See how their reviews and ratings are sourced, scored, and moderated.
Many reviews that are ambiguous or clearly about a different product are published as "trusted customer - third party verified"
I just received a email from Feefo where they are telling me they had to reject my review as it does no show the merchant who they support in a positive light as my review was negative. They claim the word dodgy to describe a dodgy car dealer by the name RS Motors Nottingham on Autotrader was against their policy. These guys are not seriously independent and therefore none of their reviews should be taken seriously at all
Have just discovered that Feefo allow companies to manipulate their reviews!! So much for unlocking 'the value hidden in the voice of your customer.'
Feefo Case number: 31584981888
I've just had a review of Currys rejected because it wasn't complimentary, why ask for my opinion then reject it? Shame on Currys and feefo.
Edit, I am puzzled by the reply, I was asked to leave a review of Currys, I did, and it was rejected. I will leave it to Trustpilot if they want to delete it.

Feefo has a video stuck on my home screen which cleared after a few hours, annoying.

After making this company aware they are backing a company that sells dogey cars... they domt seem to care leave the owners own reviews up giving himself 5 stars but when you make people aware aboit the broken cars they take the reviews down

Honestly the worst review i have come across, they are letting business's get away with selling faulty cars on auto trader
Heavily biased toward the reviewed company.
Today they asked me to review a service provided by Halfords and then removed it because 'I hadn't received the product I was reviewing'
Ridiculous.
Removed my evidence based review. Appears they only want positive reviews placed. Not good!!
If you write anything critical about a company, they remove it. This is simply an advertising vendor for the companies that use them.
I would not believe a word of anything published on their website.
We were asked to give a review for The Hollies in St Austell, after a weeks stay. (Booked with Cottages.com) I gave a full and fair review, to outline the good parts and the bad parts of our stay.
FEEFO didn't publish my review, because it wasn't a five star review for the cottage.
During our stay, we encountered a number of problems - The owner, was very nosey and due to the way that every window and the reserved garden in the rental property is overlooked by the owners property windows and clothes line right by two windows, we ended up keeping the blinds closed. The owner spent his day in a summerhouse overlooking the entrance of the cottage, every time we left the property, he would try to talk to us and tell us where he felt we should go, but we didn't need his help as we had visited Cornwall multiple times and it got to the point we would run to the car or tell him, we hadn't decided where we were heading, because it was way too much. Lastly the owner went into the cottage without any warning or our knowledge, I only found out later that day.
I have used Cottages.com on many occasions, but if they or Feefo, refuse to allow all reviews to be published then this is misleading and customers cannot trust the reviews on their site.
Feefo are the worst company that I have ever dealt with, they steal money from innocent customers that no longer wish to use their useless service.
Do not use this company , I tried to cancel after one month which is easy with most honest companies but Thiefo forced me to pay £118.80 every month for the remaining 11 months - yes they stole almost £1400.00 from my small company.
I dont know how they can live with all of the one star reviews they get on TRUST Pilot.
Good ridence Thiefo
Like many others, I think they are a scam. The pretend to be impartial but they are absolutely on on the side of the consumer. I bought some items with a great Feefo rating only to find out they were a terrible organisation to deal with and their great rating was from a long time ago when they had different owners. I contacted Feefo to tell them that there were no new reviews and all of the old ones were not for the previous owners and did not reflect current performance it they could not have cared less.
Clearly they are only interested in making a profit from the suppliers and have no care for consumer protection.
Do not trust the Feefo ratings.
Why can't I give them zero stars on Trustpilot.....:-).... they are absolute cowboys!
I wrote a negative review of a service they asked me to review (Care hire in Portugal) and as it may "hamper their integrations" "unfortunately we were unable to publish your review".... and becasue I took issue with being charged additional charges at the counter as I believe these should be advised when ordering on line I was then advised these go against the "Competitor or pricing comments" guidelines.
My points are factual and I stand over them.
Their approach is to do everything to try to not publish a negative review!
Is there a regulating body fr companies like this and if there is .....these cowboys should be taken to task!
I have a lot of emails from this company and foolishly did ask to review a product but I believe they just want your personal data, a scam really
Basically I hired a car. On the day of collection the hire company couldn't loan me a car. I had an email from feedo asking for feedback regarding car company.
I left an outline of the issue and feefo rejected as they said they had evidence that what I wrote was lies.
I contacted feefo and questioned this l, sending them the email thread of the cancellation. They said my evidence would be reviewed.
Well today I was notified via email that my review was published. 2 hours later it had been pulled again as I mentioned the company's name
I certainly won't check reviews or leave reviews on Feefo again .
Feefo are bias to their customers when doing holiday review for Cottages.com and probably others./they do not put your bad review up
They only let certain reviews go through! Terrible service they don't even want to put our bad reviews up and decline it for no reason or take ages to put a review up, as if they are protecting these companies!
You can't even respond back to the company, The thin g is Hoseasons own Cottages .com my review is live there but not with company I booked with useless Feefo service! No wonder property I stayed at has been top cottage for many many years but only 15 reveiws.Their is a joke they asked me to review, published it then removed it, and my complaint with photos was ignored.

Feefo asked me to write a review of a Bosch gas hob. I quote "give as much information as possible" But guess what, they didn't like the fact I mentioned a previous hob ( different manufacturer) to offer comparison and reason for new hob....Surely one of the reasons for reviews is so that people not only get users impression of the product under review, but also the rationale for purchasing that particular product, but not so. As someone else stated, they only want to publish what they deem worthy, so hardly impartial reviewing taking place.
Feefo systems are a total joke and not fit for purpose. Auto Trader is one of the companies that use Feefo and on several occasions when leaving feedback (positive & negative), the feedback does not appear. I spoke with customer services at Feefo and their response was "we can't see any feedback left". Looking at other people's comments on here, lots have experienced similar issues.
If Feefo were professional, they would investigate the matter to check if their are faults with their system - which it clearly is.
