Ian Hoadley was a polite and professional representative for Expert property. He was knowledgeable and efficient with the work that he carried out and was pleasantly engaging.

I have very few words. Wrong ridge tile, no communication from anyone including senior management when they promised they would call, scaffolding still up 3 weeks after the work is done, they don't turn up when they say they will.
Avoid if you possibly can.

Thanks to Ian Hoadley from Expert Property, our ongoing issues resulting from a bathroom leak, has finally been resolved . Ian like all the trades men working for Expert is highly professional, efficient and skilled and today he quickly assessed and resolved the issue for us . Over the prolonged and difficult period it has taken our insurers to process this claim, Expert property have provided excellent support and service. Many of the problems resulted from a previous rogue company being sent and causing untold damage. I wish our insurers had sent Expert Property from the outset. I would highly recommend this company and the tradesmen they sent to carry out the work. It was always a pleasure to have them in our home.

What an amazing team of professionals! Attention to detail was outstanding. Wall surfaces prepared before papering were made as smooth as glass to give a flawless finish. Areas to painted were filled rubbed down and finished to a very high standard. The call handlers too work tirelessly arranging for trades to be at the home when they were needed to assist with radiator moving, plug & light socket works too. Nothing was too much trouble and on many occasions they all went above and beyond what we expected. Absolutely recommend Expert Property Care 100% because they are Experts and they do Care about your property because they understand it’s your home !!!! THANK YOU

Expert Property were appointed by our insurers for structural work. From the get go there was excellent communication and at all stages we felt that we were really being looked after. The plasterer and decorator were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and both carried out their work impeccably. Excellent service and company.

Mine was an insurance claim for water damage to my Kitchen.

I can only say I was more than happy with everything from start to finish.

Throughout the works, from the initial surveyor who came to scope the works to the nothing short of excellent customer services representative Lauren, who updated me with dates and times and any updates along the way. Her approach has been extremely sympathetic to the customer.

If I thought this may be the best part of the service, then I was wrong. Equally on par was the high level of service as each of the respective subject matter experts attended my property and did their bit (plumber/ plasterer/ chippy/ decorator/ tiler/ floor layers). I was truly amazed to see such professionalism by everyone of them, and a 'Can Do' attitude that I have witnessed on only a few other occasions.

So If you need a One-Stop-Shop company with a high level of customer service and workmanship, then look no further. 10/10

The claims handler, Bryony from Expert Property Care, Watford office is wonderful person whom has been patient with me in responding same/next day on queries.

Expert Property Care need to look after and reward more this person and greatly reflects upmost professionalism!

Had water leak since beginning Sept, which instead of usual bathtub waste pipe ended up being chrome bath towel rail pipe hidden behind wall tiles. The leak damaged ceiling in dining room area. Whole process took about 9 weeks with multiple visits, but very glad I won't have a hole in my ceiling over Xmas :D

Luckily I had spare bathroom wall tiles from 16 years ago to avoid having whole bathroom tiles redone. So remember all to buy or keep spare tiles as that same pattern may not exist in few years time if something like this happens!

After a previous unpleasant experience with another company I was not going to be easily pleased. I am delighted to be proved wrong. In the space of 3 working days I met 5 employees for whom I have nothing but praise. Arriving promptly, each was pleasant, worked efficiently , answered questions and at the end each cleaned up and left the kitchen immaculate. Thank you to each and every one of them

We were very impressed with the service received from Expert Property Care, from start to finish. There were good communications with HO. The tradesmen sent were all very polite, skilled in their trades, neat and tidy and a pleasure to have around the place. Top marks!

We’ve been dealing with Expert for a number of months now for an insurance claim. Whilst it’s been clear that they have been affected by the pandemic, as with many, it’s also apparent that they themselves have a very small team and outsource their work. This means their service has been unreliable. They presented us with a schedule of works in June, which we ourselves contacted them about because it appeared to be far to optimistic. However we were assured they could fulfil their intentions. To this end we rented out storage space and moved ourselves out of the property to all them to complete their work. Months later, only minimal work has been completed and I’m calling almost daily to get some certainty because large parts of the work remaining outstanding, but they cannot provide any information since they outsource their work to third parties they themselves are unable to get hold of their contractors. A decorator did turn up for 3 hours last week, suggested ways corners could be cut on the job (which I naturally pushed back on) and stripped wallpaper in 2 bedrooms but has since not returned. We have a baby due next month (which we made them aware of many months ago), and I specifically asked the decorator Charlie not to strip the wallpaper if they weren’t returning, because this would leave the baby without a bedroom. He assured me they would come back. Of course, they have not returned. The decorator has cited supply issues of Farrow and Ball paint, but I’ve seen that the paint is available and have offered to purchase it myself or change colour choices so we can get the work completed. Ive had no response on this. Whilst those that answer the phone are nothing but polite, we have specific circumstances that require their understanding. Instead they’ve taken what seems to be the worst possible actions for us because as an insurance claim, we have no power in the situation. It appears that because they don’t have their own team they’re unable to function as a proper business should.

what can i say! only that the dealings i have had with Expert Property Care recently have been an absolute pleasure, with absolutely no hassle, the staff that i dealt with were polite helpful and even at times amusing, which at times of stress can as far as i am concerned most helpful.

We are having insurance work being done through l and g insurance with Sedgwick doing the underwriters check these out for there reviews to also avoid.expert have been given the work the porch they rebuild is 35 mm out of square the plastic roof edge coverings are open so bugs birds ect can get in also the last one is stuck on with mastic.we was told we could move back in to the house with no gas as this and the electricity had not been tested 3 radiator's not on the walls.the rafter's in the roof are not to regulations and walls not lining papered and specs being changed when ever they liked avoid at all costs

I received a very good service from Expert Property Care and found all of the various technicians who came to our house polite, efficient, respectful and very pleasant to deal with. I must also give credit to our claims handler, Victoria Gibson for her kindness, efficiency and responsiveness to my enquiries.

We had an unfortunate water leak that ruined our main bedroom. Expert were appointed by our insurance company. They were quick to inspect and arrange for all the different trades. Plumber, electrician, plasterer etc, etc. All arrived at the time and day that we had been advised. All were really pleasant, clean and polite. The work carried out was absolutely first class. The room had very recently been decorated and it is fair to say there is no way now you can see that anything has happened. We are so happy and should anything ever happen again (hopefully not!) we would be really happy to welcome back Expert. Their work is 5* and First Class. I also would like to add that the Office staff were just as great by keeping us informed. So pleasant and friendly. All that helped us to not fret over this horrible accident. Thank you all at Expert.

I have not had a good experience with this company and it is still ongoing. In April a surveyor deemed items on the contracting companies' list as not needed, and provided a completely different list. The trades were regularly a no show or left early and one painter didn't bother with any prep such as removal of curtain pole etc which were actually in the Expert Property list. There was no supervision and they seemed to expect the householder to brief them on the insurance works. Rather than any underpinning of the subsidence they attempted to lay a screed inside and slap on new plaster so the bricks are still out of alignment. I escalated this as a complaint about 4 weeks ago and am no further on so am left with an insecure property that I cannot sell.

Having experienced foul sewage smells inside my home over a horrendous 18-month period, and despite extensive investigations by the Developer, the LWA, Environmental Health, several Plumbers, a CCTV Drain Survey and a Structural Engineer survey, the cause could not be found.

By now desperate, I contacted my home insurer who suggested Trace & Access action. Expert Property Care were appointed and made immediate contact. An impressive gathering of EPC contractors and experts arrived the next day.

They took control of the situation immediately, working very effectively as a group, and most importantly assured me, they would fully investigate and carry out any necessary works to get to the bottom of the problem. To have someone acknowledge at last, the seriousness of the odour problem, and to hear after 18 months of acute stress, they would do what was required to solve the problem was a very emotional moment. From the moment the team arrived, they inspired confidence the problem could finally be resolved.

Over a 4hr period, the group led by the wonderful Ian Hoadley, identified problems with the LWA main drain, standing sewage due to insufficient gradient on underground sewage/ wastewater pipes, and faulty soil stack ventilation in the loft space. I cannot describe the relief I felt.

Following receipt of Ian’s report, each problem was subsequently fixed by the LWA and Developer accordingly, and thanks only to EPC, my house is now odour free.

The team were exceptional. Courteous, professional, knowledgeable and extremely diligent. A special mention also to Lauren Rowland whose communication, regular updates, and after- care demonstrated exemplary customer service.

I cannot recommend EPC strongly enough, and remain eternally grateful for all their help.

Following flood damage at home, I had remedial work done by Expert Property Care. Very satisfied with the finished product. All work has been been carried out to to a highly professional standard and the staff in the office and at my home were helpful at all times. Very glad to have been able to use them

Had a leak in the bathroom above my wifes bedroom which resulted in the bathroom ruined and her ceiling discoloured and cracked, this company sent the most skilled workers I have ever come across , always cheerful and most important always on time, Icannot recomend them highly enough.

My company contact Amy was extremely helpful all through the process. All the tradesmen we’re not only good at their jobs, but also respectful of Covid 19 issues as I have an immuno-suppressant condition. I was extremely pleased with the work done and the companies professionalism.

Last year my home flooded due to a leaking underfloor pipe. These guys did a brilliant job on the repair work. They were open and honest with their timescales, especially re drying the place out. They were punctual, polite, and respectful. They worked hard to get my home back together, and I am very pleased with the results.
Highly recommended.
