My family and I came to Romania for vacation and made the best decision by hiring Nicolas to be our tour guide! He took us all over Romania, was extremely knowledgeable on everything we saw, and was extremely kind and professional the entire time! From seeing Draculas Castle to going to the Salt Mines we had an absolute blast with Nicolas. If you are traveling to Romania book Nicolas for your tour and you will not regret it! Thank you!

Nicolas was fantastic. We did the 8 hr Bucharest tour and it almost wasn't enough time to see everything. He was very knowledgeable and as we drove around he was able to answer all our questions. Recomended great places for food and knew his history. Would definitely recommend and would do another tour with him for sure.

We took an all day tour of Bucharest with Nicolas. He was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and provided us with a great experience. Highly reccomend him if you want a fun and learning experience.

I travelled with Nicolas to Veliko Tarnovo, Arbanasi and Ruse. Bulgaria is charming in autumn, full of colours even in a cloudy day. Nicolas was kind as he always is and he made the itinerary according to my wishes. Thanks to him, my second visit to Bulgaria made me like that country, so I will think about new trips to that country. We also visited Arbanasi village, its Nativity Church, the museum and a nice souvenir shop. In Veliko Tarnovo, he gave me time for myself and I bought a wonderful wooden souvenir that represents a model of the Tsarevets Fortress. I returned to Bucharest with many nice souvenirs, such as rose cream, traditional plate, wooden musicians, a brochure about Arbanasi village, a small table cloth and hair oil. Nicolas was an interesting travel companion and told me many historical information about the places visited. Thank you, Nicolas, and see you again in spring!

This is my second time of going with Nicolas. The first time was in 2018 with my daughter and it was great, so the next time I visited Romania, this time with my wife, I decided to ask him for a private tour. We started in Bucharest and continued to Transylvania, Maramures, Bucovina, then again Transylvania. This is a gorgeous country with a lot to see, from landscapes to people, to art and a rich history as well... And Nicolas was the perfect guide. He drove us in a very comfortable car. He was very flexible in terms of stops and time... We had a lot of conversations about the history, the geography and a lot of anecdotes as well.... He is extremely pleasant, very knowledgeable and understands very well what a foreign tourist would want to see... We visited small private museums, true gems... We stopped in scenic places, for photos or for tasting some local specialty... The hotels that he booked were vey good, boutique hotels with a beautiful interesting look and with all the needed amenities... I strongly recommend this tour.

Nikolas, who guided us during our 2 days in Bucharest, is a real tour guide. He was very interested, frendly and positive towards us during our trip. The information he gave about historical places was very sufficient. Our Bucharest and Transylvania tour was a tour that we enjoyed and had fun with thanks to Nikolas. We would like to try Nikolas's other tour packages on our next visit to Romania.

Nicolas was a wonderful tour guide. He picked us up and did a custom tour from Romania to Moldova and then crossed the border to Ukraine, which was a very unique experience given the War with Russia. He kept us safe and comfortable in all respects. He was very knowledgeable with the border crossings and navigated the bureaucracy to get us across the border as smoothly as possible. Would recommend him and this trip to others looking to have this unique custom experience.

That was wonderful trip with Nicolas, He was very kind and took me from Bucharest to Polski Trambesh with good rate. Also it was safety and comfortable trip with a good car. Thanks Nicolas.

We (2 people) spent 12 spectacular days exploring Romania with the most amazing guide, Nicolas (aka Razvan)! Romania is definitely going to be the next big destination with it's rich history, culture and natural beauty. We are extremely lucky to have visited this gem before it's overrun by international tourists. To top it all off, we had Razvan to show us his beautiful country. Razvan is professional, engaging, knowledgeable and funny! We really connected with him and his enthusiasm for his country certainly rubbed off on us. For 12 days, Razvan went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of. We would've never seen or learned so much about Romania without the guidance of Razvan. Thank you so much for being our driver our guide, our teacher... and now, our friend :)

Again a great tour with Nicolas. We booked a private tour to see Transfăgărășan and other cities. This idea was a great idea because Nicolas organised all very well and we had a great experience, a wonderful one. I was fascineted by the bears we met on the road, storks with their young, squirrels, even a hedgehog. Again, I liked the experience at Vidradru where we went for a boat ride and saw wonderful landscapes. I recommend you go to Transfăgărășan and take Nicolas as your guide, we had a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

We had a wonderful, history filled day, with Nicolas. He listened to our interests, and suggested a change to our itinerary that was perfect. He took excellent care of us the entire day and picked a perfect spot to lunch on traditional Romanian food. The best thing is that Nicolas's knowledge and love of the history of Romania is excellent! He exuded excitement while telling us many interesting facts about places, people and events, and pointing out interesting things on our travels, as well. You can see that Nicolas loves what he is doing, which makes the tour so special.

It's often difficult to find tours that cater to solo travelers. I was glad to have found Nicolas Experience Tours to take me to the places I wanted to see on my first visit to Romania. I learned so much about the people and places we visited at an easy pace and tasted local delicacies like the delicious elongated crepes from Sibiu. I saw more than I expected and have a greater appreciation of the country, thanks to Nicolas who is a superb and patient guide.
