After spending lockdown on the settee we needed something to get us moving, without leaving the house! Looking on the Exercise.co.uk we saw the Marcy Onyx Cross Trainer. We contacted the business via there website to enquire about stock (as it was showing as sold out). We were told delivery was expected within 2 weeks. Ordering was easy & delivery was quick. Assembly was a family affair!! It was easy and only took about half an hour.
Using the Cross Trainer is simple & the large visual display makes it easy to monitor your progress. Multiple programmes enable us to have different targets, from easy to extremely difficult. Whilst on the Cross Trainer it is quiet enough to watch TV or listen to music (which I use as a distraction) without having to turn the volume up.
All in all, a machine perfect for all the family.
Superb service, considering the unprecedented situation we are in at the moment. In our opinion 5 stars doesn't do this service justice. Thank you ~ will definitely be using you again.

Giving you another one star review for trying to remove my original review by claiming I got the company wrong. I didn’t. You absolutely left me high and dry during covid by taking my money and not delivering or refunding. I had to go through PayPal to get my money back after weeks of being ignored.

Product as described, delivery was quicker than expected( a week earlier), very helpful team(Katie responded to all my questions), will definitely use this site again.

I ordered dumbbells reluctantly from this company after reading all the bad reviews, however this company exceeded my expectations. My order came 2 weeks earlier than expected and the customer service was phenomenal. I strongly urge you to ignore the negative reviews as I don’t think they’re an accurate representation of this company. Fantastic service and I will definitely be ordering again.

Offers free shipping but then tries to charge £75 at checkout.

They said my postcode is classified as the highlands and that their nearest depot was Glasgow.

I explained that I live 30 minutes "south" of Glasgow, in Ayrshire, they replied by saying it was the courier's policy.

I'm in eCommerce myself, I know all the couriers and their restrictions.

They were clearly lying.

I'm glad the order did not go through after reading other peoples experience on here.

I will take my £1200 elsewhere.

Placed an order for something I had been trying to purchase everywhere for months. After I placed the order I was horrified to read all the scam reviews. Contacted customer services, reply within a few hours to say my item would be delivered within 3 weeks. Item actually came with 4 days. Not a scam company, they are likely having stock issues like the majority of online retailers. At least this company haven’t put their prices up by 2/3x times the rrp.

After reading the reviews, I was dubious about ordering. I contacted customer service via the online chat to check the item I wanted was in stock and received a prompt reply. I received the item only a few days after ordering. I think some of the negative reviews reflect the problems many companies have suffered because of the demand created by the pandemic, and I would definitely order from them again.

I ordered a STEELBODY BY MARCY STB-10105 DELUXE ADJUSTABLE WEIGHT BENCH on the 06/06/20 and unfortunately I missed the delivery on 11/06/20 but it was attempted again today 12/06/20 and received. Bench is of good quality and everything was there in the box with clear instructions. Took me about 20 minutes to put it together. Communication from exercise.co.uk was very good and they were quick to respond to a tracking query I had. Overall I am very happy with the service I received and the bench I ordered.

I ordered a md857 bench on 1st May . Delivery expected within 2 weeks. The bench actually turned up early so all good. Upon assembly I had 1 incorrect part and 1 part missing (these things happen).I contacted via chat and was responded too within allocated time. I was told to email puretec and again was responded too in allocated time. These times were longer than usual but this was to be expected in lockdown period. I was told by Katie parts would be with me within 2 weeks. They turned up 1 day over 2 weeks so no complaint . I think these guys have done the best they can during this difficult period. My overall experience was good and they have replied to me in times stated. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is I did also order a curl bar which became available on website only to be told it was actually out of stock but again this money was refunded straight back to me. So well done guys in this tough time .

Like all the other reviews, yes these lot are scammers. Been holding my money for almost 2 months now, saying upto 30 days for a refund when their website says 3-4 days.

They dont even reply to your emails, maybe once in a blue moon to give you a generic response.

Definitely avoid!!

Don’t ever buy from this company. They take your money then cancel the order. Absolutely disgusting behaviour

SCAMMERS DO NOT PURCHASE

Bought £159.00 worth of goods on the 20/03/20.

I AM STILL YET TO RECEIVE A REFUND.

The product ordered was never in stock. I have been promised a refund within 30 days, but i havent received any reply or goods from them.

Extremely disappointed with the simply awful service I have experiences.

Please dont trust them.

I cancelled my order on 5th April and only on 20th May received a confirmation it has been cancelled!!
Been fobbed off the last 6 weeks, told the order has been cancelled throughout this time. Only when you put pressure on this company do they decide to respond.
Avoid at all costs!

I placed my order of £799 on April 8th was given many excuses about my order being late or lost, cancelled my order on April 24th and have been told weekly that I will be getting my money back shortly. Now My emails are being totally ignored.

I've had a very positive experience with ordering on this site. Admittedly, reviews on here had nearly put me off ordering but as I was desperate for a kettlebell, I thought I'd give them a go. There was a week's delay in my order actually being dispatched but due to the current circumstances, that's to be expected and when I got in touch with the team, they responded very promptly. My item ended up being sent out on a next day delivery so it arrived on the original estimated date anyway. Product as described, couldn't be happier!

Worst online company I’ve ever experienced. First I ordered a smith machine (£900) with additional £300 of weights, a week later I get a email saying it been cancelled for some unknown reason but have taken my £1215? Then had no response for another week until they said the smith machine is in stock but no weights, so now my money still isn’t returned and it’s almost impossible to get a reply from them, altogether it’s nearly been three weeks and I’m no closer to getting my money or equipment. Avoid like the plague!

Spent £1300 on some equipment received confirmation and delivery details. Weights arrived last week but nothing else now received a credit memo for the machine less cost of the weights.. what good are the weights with no machine.
Please don’t waste your time and money with this company go elsewhere...

Absolutely shocking service. Business took over two weeks to collect returned item. It has now been over a month, and I have not received my refund despite being fobbed off by an unresponsive customer service staff with excuses. I will be pursuing this now through a small claims court.

Scam scam scam ! Placed order for my birthday present. Smith machine was in stock as all other items. The transaction was still pending when I received email saying that they don’t have item in stock anymore. The same day all items in exercise.co.uk became out off stock. Worst thing is that people dying and these dodgy people making money and hiding behind Corona virus even cannot answer phone calls. 30 days money back also doesn’t make sense as the banks did not stop operate and if the items are not in stock they simply can cancel the transaction before money was taken from the account and still pending. Finally received a refund. But still think they had to deal with it more efficiently.

Really horrendous service. I placed an order on 29th April after having problems ordering on their website. I was told that my purchase would be dispatched on 5th May, but didn’t hear anything. After chasing them up on 11th May I had a response saying they had taken too many orders to be able to fulfil them all and that they could not help me any further and would refund me in 30 days. Very disappointed!
