Lee MacDonald has been advising us since 2018, and we really appreciate his friendly and reassuring approach to our financial planning and advice. Lee takes time to answer our questions in detail. We have had Ian as a financial advisor for over 10 years initially with Tilney and then with Evelyn after the merger. The transition has been seam less and communications via the portal and by telephone remain excellent. My parents had been involved with Evelyn Partners under its earlier Towry and Tilney brands so when we were looking for someone to manage our investments and SIPPS it was an obvious choice to join them. After our previous adviser left, at which point I was using power of attorney to manage my parents’ affairs, there was a brief hiatus when various adviser names were mentioned, but then Jo Rees became our adviser and we have every confidence in her. She has really taken the time to get to know us and what we want to use our money for. We should also mention Hayley Kendall who has been there in the background for a very long time and has always been easy to contact. It was so lovely to finally get to meet Jo face to face last October after so many Teams meetings and we hope to do the same again this year.

Worked with Lee MacDonald from the Nottingham office on a financial plan for retirement and especially the best / most tax efficient way to take retirement income from my various pensions. The service was very professional, in-depth, covered things I hadn't thought of and modelled various options & outcomes. Lee was great and explained the complexities and answered my many questions very clearly. Well worth the fees.
