I ordered what was advertised through Facebook as a sweater from Evelyn & Rowe. The photo was of a oversized, fluffy turtleneck sweater. It had glowing reviews from supposedly satisfied customers.
The company said it was based in Chicago and boasted a 30-day "satisfaction guaranteed" policy.
What I received 17 days later, scrunched into a very small bag, was a thin, very cheap looking top -- nothing at all like the photo.
I contacted customer service to complain and was told I would have to pay to send it back to China (not Chicago!), which would likely cost at least $30 -- or I could get a 20% credit and keep the item.
I chose the credit ($12) because I didn't trust that even if I sent it back I would receive a refund.
It's a terrible company that is guilty of false and misleading advertising. Facebook should not be allowing them to advertise on its platform.

Product looked nothing like it did on the ad. A much cheaper looking version at a premium price. They give the perception that they are based in Sydney, but in reality it is a Chinese company. Avoid.

If I could have rated it a 0 I would have. Received item- very poor quality. Contacted them to return. They offered me a credit. I used the credit to choose a turtleneck sweater. Took almost a month to be delivered. The turtleneck is extremely small and very poor quality. Lesson learned-- never ever order anything from this site!

Terrible cheap merchandise.
I want a refund and not anymore junk ,

ordered 2 dresses and they are dreadful. Such poor quality . Fabric is dreadful and the stitching is unfinished.

Absolutely ripped off. This company are a crowd of thieves. I have a useless jacket which is supposed to be leather. It is awful looking. I have emailed them endlessly about a refund and they have not returned to my emails. Avoid Evelyn Birmingham and Evelyn Boutique.

What they advertised and I ordered was not what I received. They are liars and cheats . You can only return TO CHINA at your cost, and the threaten your refund will take x3 months.

Item not received, no tracking information and no reply to my emails requesting delivery information of my order.

What I ordered and what I received was just appalling. I was speechless when I opened it.

It was called Evelyn Birmingham when they scammed me. Sent me a 'leather' jacket as described on the website it was 100 per cent polyester. Also it looked nothing like it was in the picture on the website. I spent £50 on it. Emailed them endlessly and no reply like they don't exist. Always read reviews about companies before you buy. They are a crowd of thieves.

Terrible don’t buy from Evelyn Grace. Bought a brown leather tote bag. £39.95. When it eventually arrived it was nothing like what I saw and paid for. It was shocking, all folded up into four so creases, horrid brown shiny material looks like PVC. Inside zip pocket the zip was broken. The clip didn’t keep the bag closed and the long handles the brown fur like fabric on inner of handle was shedding and bald spots everywhere. Awful fit for the bin only. Contacted them offered me £3 back and keep the bag, said return was to China costing £25 to £30 which I had to pay. Now the penny dropped a fake company in China not the posh shop in London. Seen same bag, same pictures, same description, and same reviews on another 2 web sites. One big massive scam. So I’ve a nasty pvc bag fit for the bin only and £39.95 lighter in money. Told them to !!!!!!£3 So don’t buy from these scammers

I ordered the very cool looking EDEN boots.... from Harrison Evelyn Boston
They seem to go under multiple names....???
What l got was NOTHING like website picture!!! Material was cheap....alot of stitching missing...jagged edges were material was cut....Bright brass zipper....sole and heel VERY POORLY constructed, AND THEY WERE SHIPPED FOLDED IN HALF IN A BAG!! Footwear without a box....RIDICULOUS!!!

And then returning them at your expense back to China....well your out money no matter what you do....DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!
This is why people use AMAZON... dont have to loose money shopping

Do not order anything from Evelyn and Rose Boutique. It is not an Australian boutique, it's a fake store based in China. I placed an order, when it arrived it was just a piece of chinese rubbish, not even fit for the rubbish bin.
I have exchanged a number of emails with them, they have offered 25% refund, 40% refund, 50% refund. They have finally given me a return address in China. I won't even bother.

what didnt go wrong - again I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. This is not a store run by a mother/daughter team but a phony store in China which should be banned from selling anything! crappy and overpriced shoes of very poor quality. Had to chase up on delivery and when it was finally thrown over the back fence, I was appalled. Wrong size to boot let alone what was supposed to be leather was plastic and quite revolting!

Absolute liars. Boots described as leather and they are plastic and cardboard. Advertises their address as Highgate UK, but goods come from China. Really poor quality item at rip off prices.

THE DRESS I RECEIVED IS NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTO. EMAILED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES TO RETURN THE ITEM. NO RESPONSE SO I PRESUME THIS IS ANOTHER SCAM SELLER. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

Bought shoes from here, sucked in by price before realising, then cancelled in line with their cancellation policy but they sent anyway. Clearly not remotely leather and arrived absolutely wreaking of chemicals/glue, had to put them outside! Initially seem comfortable but actually the heel is so soft they are neither normally supported nor barefoot. Huge sole. The cutout round the t-bar was also wonky on the right foot. Just all in regrettable. Total scam.

Horrendous shoes just don’t buy I wish I’d read all of the reviews before I’d purchased these glue smelling non matching coloured shoes straight from China I presume I’ve emailed them but don’t hold out much hope of a refund what a rip off. Do not Buy!!!! Also took 4weeks to arrive. MAMYROVA, Dinara Is named on companies house and looks like the company is about to be struck off! There you go.
