Absolutely terrible. AVOID.
The most unprofessional company i have ever had to communicate with.
My father has also left a review and the response is discourteous to say the least!
I went on the bohemian europe tour in 2023.
The initial night i was told the company had overbooked so i ended up staying in a bed of a girl who decided to stay elsewhere for the night. I had no space for my luggage and no locker due to the locker having this woman’s luggage in.
The website claims the tour includes:
“tons of essential activities” however eight activities on a twenty one day tour would not suffice as tons in my opinion.
“breakfast in some hostels” Two out of the nine hostels provided breakfast so I felt heavily mislead as I did not expect to need to budget for breakfast for the majority of the trip.
“Transfers to and from the hostel and included activities by public transport” This was again misleading as the majority of time we walked to the station often early in the morning in order to catch the bus.
In my opinion the tour guide did not meet the expected standard suggested by the website, because as previously mentioned when I required help in Berlin to get a bed she did not reply. She did not give us “the option to do additional walking tours, pub crawls and other activities” and when we requested advice regarding restaurants or night clubs her lack of experience of the cities was evident and we often resorted to googling or asking locals for advice. Eleanor was a lovely person who got along with the group really well however I feel the euroventure company have let her down by not providing sufficient training.
An image on the website showed Dubrovnik would be one of the stops on the tour. As a huge game of thrones fan I was anticipating this would be one of the highlights of the tour so was very disappointed to find out the website was misleading and we would not be stopping in Dubrovnik. We were not informed this was the case and when i queried this via email i got a rude response asking if i had “read the itinerary” - Yes, i had, and it contained a stop in Dubrovnik. Some members of the tour received a 50% refund for this mistake, but i was not one of the lucky few, i had to deal with Alex, a euroventure employee who clearly needs to work on his customer service skills.
Genuinely avoid at all costs, a complete waste of money. The website stated lies and the customer service was terrible!
