I was grateful to Essential Foods
I was grateful to Essential Foods. The first order came packaged loosely and UPS delayed the order. When it arrived the ice had melted and the meat wasn’t eatable. I reached out to them and they immediately refunded the entire order, even the shipping and replaced the entire order. The second package arrived and it was double boxed with ice inside and out. The meat was frozen solid. Very pleased that the second time came out the right way and that they made good on the deal. Thank you !

I am giving a 3 star for my purchase. The reason why is as follows. Although everything arrived froze and packaged well however, every package of meat that I've thawed for use I found that there is a slice in the packaging. Causing the juices will spill out of the package and all over the place. Not sure if this is done purposely or an oversight at the time of packaging.

Good meat, but not guaranteed a good fresh delivery
Horrible and disgusting! The order came in a thawed and melted box with most of the meat warm. The dry ice was all melted and wet the interior of the box. Some packages leaked and there was blood inside the box. Due to my cancer I cannot risk getting sick off spoiled meat. So the whole order went to waste. I tried contacting business. All emails and calls were unanswered. As of today 11/06/23- the company just now reached out over 2 weeks later and I emailed the hello@essentialfoods email. UPDATE: As of 11/14/23- After obtaining the corrected email address from the company, they sent us a box of a similar order. We appreciate them trying to correct the problem, but the dry ice again arrived completely melted. However, this time most of the items were still frozen. The meats that we did keep and tried were good.

You did not put my whole address when you shipped with ups. So it was delayed so I ask ups to return to sender. Because meat would of been bad by the time I got it. So please return my money.

I wrote to your company the minute I received my package! It was a box of meat that did not have any ice in it and don’t know how long it was traveling before it got delivered to me. The meat was brown color on some of them like the steaks. The blood was running down on other meats and one of the packages had a slice ripped open. I was disappointed and I don’t know if it’s any good. My daughter immediately put it in the freezer not knowing if it’s good or not. She was more upset than I was! I would like a refund immediately! If you want your meat back, please send me an appropriate packaging box because no ice was in the box and was ruined.

Loved the variety
Loved the variety. So far have only eaten some porkchops and the bacon. Definitely looking forward to the steaks.
The only reason I didn't 5 star it is because 2 of the pieces of the filet migones are literally 2 bites worth. I would give up the links or even one of the hamburger options to get a bigger portion.

Damaged to sealed packaging and meat just thrown into shipping box
My package was delivered with no dry ice in the box. I had multiple sealed packages that were tore open and beef hotdogs were cut in half. Only the hamburger were in a carton the rest of my meat was just thrown into the shipping box. I was giving them a 1 star review. However after contacting customer service I am changing my rating to 4 stars because they agreed to ship me another order. They were very quick to rectify the issue with my order. I am happy with the response I received.

These products have a fresher taste than that purchased in the store. I really like that the products are individually wrapped. This reduces wasting food - you can cook one portion or several as needed.

Thawed items in box
When I received this order, I had to sign for it at my front door. When I opened it, the dry ice had dissipated and the burgers and filet mignons were warm and I had to toss them. I would not have used UPS for shipping as there are a number of handoffs in non-refrigerated trucks. FedEx Next Day would have prevented this.

Five stars for there correction of the issue
Giving it a star was generous. The meat was delivered in a busted box and no dry ice. I live in AZ. The order was 2 weeks late. I've tried calling the 800# and you get a bust signal. Disappointed and I'm out money now. I want a refund and someone to call me asap.
Update:
The package was delayed again, the dry ice melted but at least it was included this time. Of all the meat we received, four packages had holes and had thawed out. Overall we are pleased with the correction. The mailing kinks needs to be fixed. Thank you for making it right.

High-Quality Meat!
I got my first box delivered last week! The first think I noticed is none of the products have any additives and are All-Natural. So far I’ve tried the chicken and filets, they are amazing quality! My friend tried the pork chops and said they are better than any restaurant. Definitely recommend.

False advertising 20 Ribeyes for $40 but they are thin
These people had a FB add that was giving 20 ribeyes for $40.
I went to Tractor Supply because that's where they were having thus advertisement.
So I go around 915am and it took about 1030am to get to the guy. When he showed the ribeyes, they were so thin so I didn't get them instead I purchased the box with the variety of meats. It also came with a box of seafood. So far I had the tilapia and the salmon and it's disgusting. I spent all this money to have terrible seafood. I paid cash and the guy didn't give me a receipt. I feel this company is scamming people by falsely advertising their ribeyes which they show large pictures yet don't actually give what they show. They have also deleted my comments on FB.
Beware of this company
