Pay big $$ to watch commercials

Payment for a service but get commercials on and on and on. I want to rewind? You'll have to watch another commercial.Want to see what's going on on another court? You'll have to watch another commercial. THIS ABUSE IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN COMPANIES GET A MONOPOLY.

ESPN should be ashamed

I am extremely disappointed with my new ESPN Unlimted subscription. It performs as if it is still in beta. I purchased the subscription to watch a playoff game and the Australian Open. The football game repeatedly stopped and a shimmering "E" would appear on my screen - picture frozen. This happened repeatedly. The same occurs while watching the Australian open. It won't reconnect. My solution is to terminate the app and restart it. Then it works for awhile and the same thing happens again. I've been watching (trying?) the Aaustralian open for a week now. I have yet to get through a match without issues.

The app is also problematic. I can fast forward only once in a given playback. If I fast forward again, the app resumes where I started, not to where I wanted to continue. That's very frustrating. The shimmering "E" stays on way to long while the app tries to T-up programming.

I've had this issue on a Fire TV Cube, firestick, Sony TVs Android TV app and my Android phone. All other apps work fine so I'm not concerned about connectivity. It's just very poor service from ESPN.

This is a substandard service that I payed $29.99 for a month of use. I can't use it as you intend because it fails. You should give me my money back.

Disappointed

I pay for the Disney bundle deal and NOT be able to watch some of Barca soccer games because of their TV RIGHT DEALS scam; well that sucks!!! but I deal with it. Now NOT being able to watch the games on demand narrated Spanish is so frustrating to me!!! WHY?? If I ALSO PAY!!! I have been dealing with this situation for a while back now where if I don't get to watch it live in Spanish narrative, I can't watched it later on demand! So I don't watch it and that defeats the purpose of paying the main reasons and is to see and hear the games in Spanish narrative.!!!

ESPN+ is Actually ESPN-

I paid $13.96 (including tax) for ESPN+ even though I already have ESPN on cable, because I wanted to watch complete Australian Open tennis matches rather than general coverage of multiple matches. Unfortunately, matches of higher ranked players are only available on ESPN Unlimited, which is $29.99+ tax. If I had known this, I wouldn't have signed up for ESPN+ in the first place, because I already get ESPN with my TV provider.

Overrated sports media outlet

The website is unreadable. Articles rarely open. When they do open they never load properly. This is an ongoing issue. I use Yahoo and any other sports media venues. ESPN is considerably overrated for a pay venue.

Danny’s Top Plays

Dear ESPN,
I have 186 apps on my phone. If I ignore the apps for work, the cameras and fire alarms I use to protect my home and pets, and the one that warns me when my wife is within two miles of my home (to prevent her walking in on me watching porn)… that leaves ONE APP from which my phone allows notifications. It’s your app… the one I’m forced to watch endless commercials about every morning while I eat food that has nothing to do with mornings off the cafeteria tray I stole from my college many, many years ago. This app is supposed to be so good, the Jews stop talking about the Palestinians.
Yet, somehow… it’s a FU(K!NG DAILY occurrence that your app delivers the WRONG outcome of at least one game! That’s saying a lot since I have very few teams I even give a shit about. Your app has left me wondering if I know someone on your production staff that is fu(k!ng with me. Then, I think of my friend in my Fantasy Football League, who isn’t even in the league (we just let him hang around like the retarded kid that gets to be the “manager” of the basketball team, except he’s never hit the three pointer to make Top Plays because every time we pass him the ball he starts humping it like he wants to see if breeding a basketball will result in free tennis balls that he can out in his dryer to save money on fabric softener). I think of him because he pretends he’s not on the IT Team at the company we work for, but I know he really is because he’s behind the dumpster fire of bullshit notifications from YOUR APP! That doesn’t get you off the hook. Either you suck and have no business reporting sporting event outcomes… or the security used to protect your app is so poor, the guy who fingers his mouse while watching porn has been able to hack you.
Get your shit together!
One day, someone that actually cares about how bad their sports bets are is going to rely on the data you spew.

ESPN+ is Terrible

ESPN+ is by far the worst streaming experience I’ve ever had, and that’s really saying something because there is plenty of strong competition in that department. It’s not worth its ridiculous price, the app often barely works, and the only reason people use it is because there are often no other options.

Streams are usually a chore to watch, as they are consistently plagued by unstable connections, causing video lag/poor quality, which is often so bad, that the web page just randomly crashes. The UI feels like it was specifically designed to be as annoying as possible to navigate, so much so, I use external direct links to find specific games. Additionally, many of the in app features, including the log in page, struggle to load, or straight up just don’t work, so you can’t even use the service you’ve already paid too much money for.

Sports fans deserve better, and big sports leagues on the platform, like the NBA and NHL, need to seriously reconsider their partnership with this awful company.

Even 1 star is generous. Only thing worth adding for a bundle was for occasional MNF. Now you have to pay extra for that. No thank you, go scam someone else with your program changes.

with espn susbcricption i get live sport events... i am a fan of boxing, so the ones that are partners with espn those mathces I do not miss.
I can say that the pricing model is not so expensive, considering the perks and speciall access I get here. Just one thing is that sometimes durib live broadcasting, there can be small delays, not a huge issue though
