After being passed from pillar to post over the last few weeks I was lucky enough to get through this time on the phone to Keir Furlong. He dealt with my issue in a way I’d hoped it would have been i... See more

Leah was absolutely professional, helpful and diligent in her actions to solving my technical issues. They were very frustrating and trying issues and she did a tremendous job in handling the problem and explaining any issues she was seeing while we worked through it so I would fully understand what the cause and solution we were working toward were. She solved my problem and stayed on with me while making sure other areas were also operating as expected.

If I could put less than one star I would. It’s a rubbish system, costly. No support. You can’t speak to anyone unless you’re looking to buy something. They kept charging me after I cancelled after 12 months of being stuck in a contract. Said they would stop payments and refund me, then they haven’t and I can’t speak to a a real person to sort it! Can’t get through on the phone. They only answer sales, then cut me off when I explain. No emails to contact, had to cancel through my bank but that won’t last forever. They should be shut down! Worst company ever! Any good reviews on here can’t be real!

Original review 24/04/2026.
Disappointed frankly. I've spent a further 2 phone calls and 1 live chat with eposnow agents, and while they've started out with wanting to help, the conversation does dissolve quickly into a sales pitch. The first call on 6/05/2026 they confirmed that further charges will be dependent on the number of licensed devices being used.
Today 11/05/2026; another agent reached out to try to get me to join up for their card machine, stating that the charges were because of the number of card machines being used? I told them I've only ever had 1 card machine and that the original pop-up said it was for each device that had not integrated their card machine to their epos till with mention of signing up for an Eposnow card terminal at that point.
The agents today were then saying that because I was originally charged for 2 devices, that there was no way to change the future amount payments, which is not what was stated on the 6th May phone call. I've also got a chat transcript that confirms that I will only be billed for 1 licensed device going onwards from 6/05/2026, so why are the agents now saying that the original charge is permanent, regardless of any changes? They're now pushing that I can still keep my current machine and just to take theirs and process 'only £2000' worth of transactions each month to avoid the payment premium charge. This whole episode has shown me that there are absolutely no guarantees with this company.
-As of now, Jake from Cancellations has stated that he would look into changing those charges to only 1 license and to wait for a call back shortly-
10 years since 2016, and you've managed to burn any goodwill I might have had with you.

I am very happy with the system; it is very intuitive and easy to use. In addition, Dante’s support and the way he explains things make it even easier.

Great until recently. I am now, however, backed into a corner regarding charges for not using their card machines. I’ve happily paid £30 per month for years and suddenly have to pay another £100+ as I won’t switch to their merchant services. Seriously considering cancelling the whole system and starting over elsewhere despite the huge logistical inconvenience this would cause. Shocking that they are allowed to do this. Terrible customer experience, avoid them if you can.

Epos Now are forcing existing customers to use their inhouse payment systems. Effectively fining loyal customers for choosing to use another business. This is clearly in breach of anti-trust law in the UK regarding anti-competitive tying practices and abuse of market position. We have been a customer of Epos Now for 10 years and this is the final straw.
This is the email I sent to the CEO and Founder.
Dear Jacyn,
I am writing to you in your position as CEO of Epos Now to formally complain about your recent policy requiring customers to use Epos Now card payment services or face an additional charge of £89 per card terminal.
We have been a loyal Epos Now customer for more than 10 years. During that time, we have invested heavily in your platform and built up over a decade of valuable customer and sales data within your system. The practical difficulty and cost of migrating to another POS provider are therefore significant.
However, your decision to impose punitive charges on customers who choose alternative payment providers is, in our view, both deeply unfair and potentially unlawful.
By introducing a substantial additional fee for businesses that do not use Epos Now Payments, you have effectively removed our freedom to choose our preferred card payment provider. This appears to be an attempt to force customers into using your in-house payment processing services through financial pressure rather than fair competition.
We believe this conduct raises serious concerns under UK competition and anti-trust principles, particularly regarding anti-competitive tying practices and abuse of market position. There are already thousands of Epos Now customers publicly expressing similar concerns, which suggests this is not an isolated issue but part of a wider pattern affecting your customer base.
As a result of this policy, we are now actively considering:
Reporting this matter to the Competition and Markets Authority.
Seeking formal legal advice regarding potential anti-competitive behaviour.
Participating in or supporting a potential class-action style legal claim against Epos Now.
Moving our business to an alternative POS provider despite the considerable cost, disruption, and likely loss of over 10 years of customer and sales data.
We are aware that the CMA has the authority to impose fines of up to 10% of a company’s global turnover where it believes anti-trust or competition laws have been breached. Given the seriousness of this matter, we believe Epos Now should treat these concerns with the utmost urgency.
Should we proceed with legal action or formal regulatory complaints, we will also be seeking to recover the substantial costs and damages associated with being forced to migrate away from your platform. This includes, but is not limited to:
The significant operational disruption and administrative burden involved in changing POS providers.
Staff retraining and implementation costs.
Loss of business continuity.
Time spent transferring systems and processes.
The potential permanent loss of more than 10 years of customer and sales data accumulated within the Epos Now platform.
It is extremely disappointing that after more than a decade as a customer, we now feel compelled to leave your platform because of a policy that appears designed to coerce businesses into adopting services they may not want or need.
We request that Epos Now urgently reconsider this policy and confirm:
The legal basis for imposing the additional £89 terminal fee.
Whether customers will continue to have genuine freedom to choose third-party payment providers without financial penalty.
What steps Epos Now intends to take to address the growing concerns being raised by long-standing customers.
Please treat this as a formal complaint and provide a written response within 14 days.

The worst company to ever deal with. Please disregard all the fake 5 star reviews here and do a proper due diligence on this company. They will lock into a contract, take your money and not support you when you start having issues with their platform this riddled with issues. Do not be fooled

SCAM!! This company used to be great. Have been using since 2018 and was paying £30 per till system. As I haven’t taken a card machine with them (as I’m in contract with my card machine) they are holding a gun to my head and taking £261.60 per month. Absolutely disgusting way to treat loyal customers all because we can’t take an extra service which we didn’t sign up for. Apparently they made contact via email, that was another lie. I will be seeking legal action and have contacted my bank as payments have been taken without my agreement or knowledge
